Service has went doooowwnnnn since the last time I been. I used to be a regular, but my last visit the salon chairs were filthy (cotton stuck to chairs, hair and dust on chairs). The one lady who half greeted and seated me was short and cold. However actual tech was nice and took his time...somehow my feet where still rough on the bottom, and polish was smushed (after being told they where "dry") Noticed got home. When I moved to Troy I needed to find a new salon. A friend recommended this place so I gave it a try. I officially love Tony and Nikki for acrylics! They’re both really patient and pay attention to detail. I’m particular about my nail shape and polish, so I always speak up if I want it a certain way and they’re great with direction. Read Less

My sister and I had a really great experience here. We called and made an appt for pedicures and they had us in the chairs within about 5 minutes. We were both very pleased with the pedicures and the overall service. They brought out fresh clean tools - including files and buffers, which is a MUST wherever you go. I have been going here for years, and trust me when I say - MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. This place used to be a hidden gem, and you could walk in whenever, and now you need an appointment or wait a really long time. Everyone here is pretty good at doing nails, although I'm partial to Julie. They are more expensive than most other places in the area, but it is worth it because of their quality of work. They have an array of pedicure options including honey and silk - my personal favorite. Recently came here for my bachelorette party and the owner took very good care of us, and my girls left relaxed and everyone was incredibly happy with the quality of work done. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I scheduled an appointment and had to wait a few minutes, but that was really no big deal. They're a very popular shop, according to the ratings. It's very nice and clean in there, which is why I'm giving this place a (generous) 3-star rating. I didn't have a problem with anyone (their service was very nice! They acknowledged you and got you going in no time). The only thing is that I got shellac done and paid almost $50 for it ($42, with a $8 tip) — which if I was told it was going to cost that much, I'd pay an extra $10 for a full set, you know? I digress, but the work he did was still okay/nice. Anyways, I paid that much and it didn't even last me two weeks (which is the usual time shellac should last). You know you're due for a fill when you're hair strands start sticking under the actual nail (picture one). I got my nails done on Saturday, July 29th. Right now it's Tuesday August 8th. Only one week and a few days have passed and it couldn't even last? That's insane to me. I didn't really have a good experience, but maybe it'll be different for you guys.Read Less

I discovered this place over a year ago and would not choose to go anywhere else. The salon is filled with great people that are really talented. This staff is very professional and extremely efficient. The salon is clean and chic. I would recommend this nail salon to anyone. And just a side note. I was in there when the manager was on the phone with the lady who bashed them in a post above me. The manager asked the lady to come back so she could fix it for her but the lady kept insisting she should get her money back. The manager very kindly told the lady she could not issue her a refund but she'd be happy to fix the shape of the nail for her. I commend the manager for the way she handled the lady. The three of us that heard the conversation literally applauded the manager for the way she handled the situation. Service is service people. And this place has awesome service! Read Less

If I could give this place 0 STARS I would but google won't let me. I usually go to my favorite nail place near my house but They were booked and I was in a pinch and for some reason this place had the best ratings in the area. WRONG. My shape is a simple coffin and somehow the woman, who is supposedly the manager, did my nails. Rather than following the shape my nails already had, they somehow all ended up crooked. I do hair and work in the industry so I didn't give her a hard time at all paid for my service and tipped her. After leaving I sent photos of my nails to my friends who all said I needed to call and complain immediately. I called and spoke to her and politely told her the shape was extremely uneven and I would like my money back. I no longer trusted this place because I had already asked her twice to fix the shape but I was in a rush to school and the service was already running behind. She told me they don't do refunds and quote "you're just mad you paid more than you normally do". She knew how much I typically paid because she had asked me during the service. I explained to her I would pay the $48 for the service if it were good but it wasn't. In the middle of my sentence she hung up on me. I would love to get in touch with the owner to let them know how poor their customer service is and how unacceptable the skills of a manager are. Very disappointed. Do not go here and make the same mistake I did. I normally do not make a huge deal over things like this but I have never been treated so bad in my life.
