The owner is very very rude. Talks to guest with no sense of professionalism. The only time I ever get good service is when I go to Helen. She’s amazing. My fiance went here for a long time and the last 2 times they have messed up her eyebrows. Today she tried to explain to the worker how she messed up and she told my fiance she was wrong. I went to get my nail done 3 weeks ago. Was a short wait, but well worth it. Ask for Helen, she did a bomb job. She did a far better job, then the girls at Southland Mall. Tina Nails is on Ecorse Road, a lot closer to my home. I will continue going to Tina's to have my nails done. This Salon also does waxing, as well. Read Less

I asked for medium-length Nails I end up with short ones I asked for the Chow I get a shellac no base they did a petty stuck my feet in a plastic covering of the tub and then remove the plastic covering and stuck my feet in a dirty tub I have walked out of there the nails are splotchy there is no base and they are ugly as Sin. I do not recommend this place to anybody unless you want to waste your time and waste your money go and get your nails done at the spa nail spa at Southland Mall that is where you will spend less money get a much better set of nails and a much better job that you really don't want to lose and take the nail off you want to nail the stand forever that's how great the Southland Mall nail spa is Tina's will mess you up! I sent my daughter there today for a gel set and pedicure... 70 dollars and 15 dollar tip... My 17 yr old daughter got in my car and said I'm so sorry I didn't know what to say... Worst nail job ever... So thick and much bigger than her nail bed... So she went back in and asked if they could file them down as they looked ridiculous... They then chose to have her sit and took 5 clients in front of her and charged her 15 dollars to fix them... They were rude and rolled their eyes... I will never go back there and would certainly not recommend them for anything....if they're was a negative number for the review I'd pick that... Just scroll through these reviews... This was like stepping into 1989 and the people there are rude. I found a modern place with modern nails and similar prices - and the staff is super friendly at house of glam. I won't be going back to Tina nails and I'm dragging my friend who referred me there to House of Glam. Read Less

Went in yesterday to get my nails done. Was not greeted when we walked in and the lady that did my nails talked on her phone the entire time. I find this very rude and disrespectful. Not to mention, one nail is raised and looks bad. Will definitely not be back! Read Less

Very rushed. The guy working with me had his headphones in the whole time and his buddy was distracting him the whole time as well which made him cut my fingers up pretty bad around my nails. I'm just gonna stick to QD and lovely nails from now on. I'm tired of paying for crappy nails. Reason why you shouldn't have a guy do your nails. 6-03-2016I uses to go to Tina nails all the time and I regret going any where else because all of the other nail places I went to did me wrong by injury my nail bed too injury and my toes nail bed too!So on June 3, 2016 I went back to Tina Nails and got my nail done and they did a Great Job!!! just like they always did before! I just had the worst experience. First, I was told to sit in a pedi chair and waited long enough for someone to complete their pedi experience before water was turned on. Then Danny came over to work on my pedi and it got worse. Water was luke warm. Even though I asked for warmer water. Then he claims I had a massage when he slathered onto my leg what he referred to as a scrub and lotion all in one, apparently that was the massage. When he started with the polish,  I asked,  where's the massage? But each time he responded with this look of confusion and insisted I had one. Then the part that really pissed me off was he made no attempt to be friendly at all or to make sure I was happy with the service,  instead,  he put his headphones on. Apparently listening to music was his way to cope with an unhappy customer. When we got done. He said,  sit here for your manicure. That was the last straw. I told him, If it's with you,  I don't want one. I told the eyebrow lady (sorry, no name given),  her response was,  oh,  you wanted a deluxe pedicure. 1) Deluxe or otherwise,  you should have a massage. 2) I wasn't asked what I wanted,  barely spoken too.  I took care of my eyebrows,  paid my bill,  tipped the eyebrow lady generously, didn't stay to dry my toes,  I just left. I really wanted to give this local business a better rating. When I stood at the front desk for close to 5 minutes before any of the staff acknowledged me, I knew that I would never come back. I actually had my hands on my keys to leave when one person finally asked how they could help me. The staff member who did my manicure and pedicure did a nice job and I am happy with his work. However, the shop is not clean. Not just from today but you could tell that the shop have not been cleaned well for a long time. If I am going to spend $50 for a relaxing experience, the condition of the shop is part of that experience.I try whenever possible to frequent businesses that are close to home to keep the money in the neighborhood. Quick and easy and my nails look great :) I rarely get them done professionally, so I appreciated how my girl spent a few extra moments to get what I wanted figured out (I wasn't sure what I wanted to begin with). They were pretty busy when I came in but despite having several people ahead of me, I only waited about 10 or 15 minutes to be seated. I'll go back for a fill-in even though it's not really on my side of town, just a passer by. Maybe I'll actually keep these up for a while. Read Less
