I’ve been wanting to try nail gloss for a long time because of the work that they do is what I love and it’s hard to find anywhere else I was there 10 days ago they were very busy and I was also in a hurry and expressed that to my tech she did the best she could with the time frame I wasn’t thrilled with the shape of my nails, I went on their Instagram stories and saw a brand new set that I really wanted that kind of shape I messaged them to know who the nail tech was and to see if I can get an appointment with her Anna was very nice and asked me to come back so they can make sure my nails were the way I wanted them free of charge! This isn’t what I wanted I wanted to pay for a new set mistakes happen and I’m well aware of that and my nails were already 10 days old Anna didn’t care she wanted to make sure I was a happy customer And even did a fill with no charge she went above and beyond to make sure her clients were happy!!!! By far the best place I've ever gone, and I've been getting my nails done almost 15 years. Understand that going to a popular salon where you are receiving a creative service means the people before you may ask for changes. There can be waits. Be patient and flexible. Also, pay attention the website. If you call and just say you want a "full set of acrylics with nail art" chances are the price is going to be different than if you walk in asking for extra long ballerina shaped nails with crystals and real flowers all over the place. Know what you are asking for, and the worth of it! I get gel acrylic here, and they have lasted as long as 6 weeks before they started lifting. They do a good job as far as nails but are not professional. I had a situation where I had to cancel my appointment due to work prior to this appointment to schedule an appointment I had to pay for half my services which I did. Plus they called me four days before my appointment when I reschedule it two weeks ago to tell me I had to pay half. When I explained this to the manager she said consider us even. That was very rude. Moving to the day of the appoiment. 3 different peo...ple worked on my nails. They charged me more than what what they told me after doing the service. My friend scheduled my next appointment for me when she got done with her nails. When I was getting ready they told me again I have to pay for half my services to book appointment. I just went here for my first time and got a set of acrylics. Every other salon I have gone to they weren't as clean or friendly with the women that would come in. I have never found a nail salon that is affordable, friendly, and clean like this one. All of the nail techs here are incredibly talented. I work unusual hours so it's hard for me to get in and I'm usually the last person there, but none of them have ever complained (and yes I do tip extra when I'm there later, so if you stay late too make sure to do the same!!). I called to make an appt. with Anna that morning and then I got to the salon and the receptionist says your appt. is with Harry today. I was like no that isnt right, i just called this morning. She told me that morning that I had an appt with Anna. I scheduled an appt. with her because Ive heard wonderful things about her work. She tried to tell me that I would fine with Harry. Then they had me wait 20 minutes after that for no reason, I walked out and then they called me asking if I wanted to reschedule. I've gone to the same nail salon for years, but had an event directly after work and needed to get my nails done fast, this was the closest shop to my job and took a chance even tho they were newly opened. When I walked in and told them I was just on my break at work and had to make it fast, they were more than accommodating. Multitasking with me between other clients (who did not mind at all and were very patient) Anna and Kelly have exceeded my expectations, its so cute and clean in there with great music & friendly conversation. Overall excellent nail salon. Very welcoming did a great job. Just didn't like that fact that i felt like she was rushing. (One hand the nails are longer than the other) and when i showed her what I wanted done she did it for the most part. One finger in the picture had the crystals on it which i wanted. But by the time i was gonna remind her she already put gel on my finger nails. Tried this place for the first time yesterday. If you're looking for a place that can turn your nails into glamorous works of art, this is it! They stay on top of the latest nail trends. They encourage showing them a picture of a nail design from Instagram or online that you want them to do. Most other places do not do what they do and act like you are bothering them. Kelly did my "unicorn" nails and she did a great job! The owner Anna, Kelly and the other ladies were very nice. The salon is very clean and sanitary and they use top of the line products. I like that they utilize text appointment reminders. I would like to see them add more gel polish colors to their selection, and maybe a sign in sheet at the front desk to keep better track of people arriving, but other than that, I can't wait to go back! I brought in an image and the owner skillfully hand painted my toe and finger nails. The shaping looks great and she even was able to add some gems to my toes. The shop was extremely clean and had a modern design. A bit pricey, but for the quality of work I will be back! Read Less

I was in need of some serious help on my nails. I took off my last shellac adventure on my own, ruined my nails, and my pinky nail was broken down past the skin and was about to fall off. I went in and sat down with Kelly Shaw (I remember this because we had the same last name, funnily enough) and she was awesome!The minute I walked in there was a sign that said they had Unicorn nails, which I was immediately excited about. I sat down with Kelly and she explained any questions I had and went to work. She was so pleasant, asking if I'd seen their Instagram page (go look!! @nailglossmi) and telling me that they have other options for next time, like color changing nails, she introduced me to the acrylics, all the different color unicorn powders, marbled nails, etc. The experience was very pleasant and intimate. This is the first nail salon I've ever come back to. Otherwise, I'm hopping around trying out other places. But, yes, first nail salon I've come back to, to get my nails done. Anna does such an amazing job! She not only speaks fluent English, but she does great work. It is on the pricey side for those, but I don't care. I love how she uses disposable filers and buffers. I basically gave up on going to nail salons because of so many bad experiences but Nail Gloss changed that for me. Everything is so clean and they even use disposable files and buffers  a dream come true for a germaphobe like me lol and on top of that the take such care in the work they do your polish will always look perfect when you leave.
