If you want to go to a place where you have no idea whether or not someone is speaking to you, make sure you come here... -.- I understand that at times, there is a language barrier, but this was a little on the extreme side. The lady (who I think is married to Pete, the manager) did my pedicure and shellac on my fingernails. She was speaking to herself the whole time, and I had no idea whether or not she was speaking to me or not. She really didn't understand what I wanted for my toes and tried to con me into getting shellac on them (I repeated myself at least 5 times before she understood). She did, however, take her time on my toes, and they look very nice. By the time I sat down to get my shellac manicure, there was a very disgruntled customer next to me who was complaining about her polish on her fingers and argued with the younger girl. It was a very uncomfortable situation, and the young manicurist was giving her an attitude. I understand why the customer was upset, as I would have been, too.I'm not exactly sure how long my shellac on my nails will last, as I don't really think my nails were under the heat lamp the correct amount of time. I had to peel off part of the shellac that was stuck to my ring finger on my right hand because she did not clean it up.Yes, everything is updated and it was nice in there (although it was 70 degrees or hotter outside and they just had their front and back doors open without any AC on, and my back was drenched in sweat by the time I got out of the massage chair for my pedicure).I paid $50 (before tipping) for a pedicure with regular polish (no french pedicure like I would normally get) and then the shellac on my fingernails. Pete told me for nail art, it would be an extra $5 per 2 fingers, which wasn't horrible. The pricing was very reasonable, and I did like that part, but not the feeling of the salon.Needless to say, I will not be coming back. The issues with the language barrier, as well as disgruntled customers, and not to mention, the people that were coming in were being told the wait was only 15 minutes, when I know darn well it was much longer (they were being lied to, it took 45 minutes to complete my toes and another 30 to complete my fingers and all of the manicurists were busy), and lastly, the lack of cleaning up my nails (where I had to peel the shellac off my skin), I only rate this the 2 stars out of 5, because I know there's better places out there.
