I love this place! This was my first time coming here and I got a really blinged up nail design and they did an amazing job. When it comes to getting designs and rhinestones this is my go to place the only thing I would have wanted is drawn on flowers not a big flower you glue on but overall this place is great and not bad pricing either. So i literally just left here highly unsatisfied... first the guy who did my nails was very ruff and cut every single one of my fingers he didn’t even reshape my nails so my nails are all different sizes they are fat so he didn’t even smooth it out for me then with the polish he didn’t even go all the way down so it looks like my nails are grown out... he didn’t even bother taking off the nail polish he got on my fingers.. there is bubbles in my nails and bumps again due to him not smoothing them out at all... i honestly think it was a waste of my time and money... my suggestion is to not even go there.. unless you want to go back the next day and get them fixed... I have never had to go back and fix my nails so many times. Due to chips, broken nails,filing done wrong,water bubbles a day after. The staff doesn't do very good job. Nikki was the best and she's not there anymore. So sorry to say I won't be going here anymore.😣😤 Read Less

I've had my nails done here several times. For the most part my experience has been great. There is one woman in particular that I would not go to again because I wasn't satisfied with how she did my nails. She made them extra thick and didn't shape them how I asked. I've also seen the same woman being extremely rude to customers. I actually witnessed her yelling at a customer who wasn't satisfied with her nails. Rather than politely try to correct the situation she argued and yelled. I couldn't believe how horrible she was to the customer (this is the same woman who messed up my nails.) That being said, I've never had an issue with any of the other staff members and the rest of the team does a nice job. Salon definitely has higher prices than some of the other salons in the area. They didn't clean my nails when I get acrylic nails and I asked for. And they give me boxed they didn't push my cuticles back they didn't clean them after they didn't dry them I went outside with wet nails I scraped oak they were all wet and then they never give me a refund I do not recommend it Read Less

Awful place, unhygienic and dirty. I don't mind paying for a good product and service but this place is over-priced, poor quality and there's no customer service. The staff need to go on a course to learn how to treat their clients. This place should be reported. They did an awful pedicure, made my skin bleed and got varnish all over the edges. I have been to Vivi Nails approximately 7 times with each visit becoming progressively worse. Yesterday's visit confirmed that I will never return. My husband and I went in for pedicures and a manicure for him. My husband's "nail technician," was a young man no more than 15 years old, who was obviously there working with the family while out on spring break. He had no idea what he was doing during my husband's pedicure, as the woman doing mine, would correct him in their native language. My husband's nails were jagged and a few of his cuticles were bleeding from incorrect use of the cuticle nippers. This young man was obviously not licensed and if he was an apprentice, no one was checking his work. Filing a complaint to the state is worthless, but reporting it here hopefully will keep enough people away. Read Less

We were very displeased with our experience today. How anyone can charge $32 dollars for an acrylic fill with gel polish on top is beyond believeable. You would have 2 good regular customers if you weren't desperate enough to rip people off with a (+) sign. Will not be back. Right down the street at Tracy's nail it is $24 for the same thing! A big waste of $75.00, myself along with another person went in for a pedicure. We both chose the $35.00 pedicure. It was a huge let down from the start. The water was lukewarm, I wasn't given much time to even soak my feet. The lady did not go around any of the sides of my nails. Two days later my polish had already chipped off. The massage chairs were nothing but a joke. We couldn't feel it most of the time and when we did it was very soft. I even asked politely if she (the lady doing my pedicure) could show me how to set it for the right setting I was looking for. Although they were nice I will not be returning again. My mom and I get our nails done together every other Saturday, and have become fed up with rude, hurried service elsewhere and an unwillingness to repair mistakes. I got a full set with gel polish, and the young man did a great job. After several awful experiences with Nail Garden in Woodhaven, my nails were in such bad shape (lifting, damage to natural nail, discoloration, unevenness, etc), he had to soak off the existing nails and start over. He really took his time and listened to what I wanted. Very pleased with the results! My mom got a gel manicure with a clear, sparkly polish and was very happy as well. Great job! i went into vivi nail salon with an optimistic mindset. what i was not expecting was my pedicure water to be ice cold, my nails to be suffering and bumpy because of the filing dust she neglected to brush off, and the staff to be absolutely discourteous. i greatly looked forward to coming in for a relaxing mid day experience. as soon as i walked in the door, i was greeted with a harsh "pick out a color". after that i was directed toward my pedi station with a poorly kept massage chair and cold water. the lady doing my nails didnt talk to me once my whole trip unless it was short 2 word sentences telling me what to do. after my amateur pedicure, i was hoping for a better experience with my mani. i, again, was led to another station which i was highly disappointed in. she again didnt even make eye contact and wiped off my previous polish with a sponge that was completely covered in other peoples nail polish residue. DISGUSTING. to remove her nail polish mistakes on my skin she dug her long nails into the sides of my nails, most times causing me to eek in pain. in all honesty, i will never come here again. as the result was the nail job i came in expecting, the staff personnel seemed bothered that i was in their presence and treated me as if i was a joke. The owner, who just waxed my eye brows in a complete rush should honestly learn the meaning of pride in her work. She didn't acknowledge me, the tip I gave her, and waxed my eyebrows down to nothing! Not to mention the fact that she did not make them even or pluck them to clean them up. How embarrassing! Not Impressed! Very poor manicure. She left all the filing dust on my nails and painted over it, now my nails have pits and bumps in them. Also, she did not take the shellac thickness to the end of my nails, so now my nails are very thin on the edge and the Polish will not last. Would like to try the pedicure though. Read Less

Tough crowd!!! This is my go to spot for a mani/pedi.  I go at least once a month.  I've never seen any disappointed customers.  The English language is not spoken fluently but enough to get by. The worst "manicure" I've ever had. I literally walked out before the nail tech could finish because honestly, I knew I'd be taking off the polish the second I walked out. My time is worth more than this.There was no conversation; no greeting; no customer service. The woman seemed annoyed that I had the audacity to visit for just a manicure. The remover she used for my old polish was the kind with the sponge inside a jar and had obviously been used by MANY MANY people before me. So unsanitary. The water to soak my cuticles barely covered my nails and was uncomfortably cold. She gobbed tons of lotion on my arms to the point that she couldn't get it to soak in and finally relented and ordered me to go wash my hands. The polish job was awful: no base coat and again with the gobs and gobs of polish. It was all over my cuticles, streaky and uneven. I tried to keep my cool but failed; I stopped her after one coat and high tailed it outta there to CVS where I bought polish remover. Honestly, my 12 year old does a better job and she charges way less. Lesson learned. Read Less

I would have given them a good review til this past May when I got a pedicure from them & got toenail fungus from there they must not have sanitized their foot soak tubs because per my google investigation that's how you get it & I don't swim in public pools or take showers in public places & it was under the nail polish they put on my toenails :( Read Less

I went yesterday to get a pedicure, I expected some wait considering it's right before Christmas. They sat my friend and I down in the chairs, where we waited for about an hour. Even though 3 workers got done with clients, they still did not come and start our pedicures. Finally one woman came to do my friends, hers was finished before someone even came to do mine. They were on their phones and eating instead. When the man finally came to do mine after a few minutes he got up to answer his phone. Then talked on it for a good 5 minutes, then came back and would text every so often. While scrubbing my feet he cut both my big toes, my left so bad it was bleeding, and then just poured alcohol on it. When he asked me to pay I argued with him and he just walked away. I don't think they could understand what I was saying so she said to pay her 15 instead of 22. I will never go back. Read Less

Vivi Nails is my go-to nail shop when I'm in the downriver area. They have $20 pedicures with warm stones and towels included, as well as the best foot massage around. They'll also do $5 eyebrow waxing. I don't get acrylic nails, so I can't judge on the quality of them; but for the pedi-eyebrow-foot rub? I'm a big fan. :) Also, they're open on Sunday - bonus!
