I went here about a week in a half ago I got a full set and a pedicure my nail did not last a full two weeks they all came off I went there and told the girl all she said to me was I'm sorry !!!!!!! This is the first review I write ever, but I felt the need to. I went yesterday and not only felt it was a waste of money but a waste of my valuable time. Like stated in other reviews...I had to coax her to remove old polish and she was lazy about doing it. Then I noticed the polish was clumpy and thick, so I asked her if she should thin it as it was looking as if my 8 year old was painting my nails. She just shook her head no. She asked me if I wanted a design, and I said "sure what do you have? What can you do?" Then she brought her husband over to start a design on my toes that I hadn't approved of because I never saw anything. She never showed me anything. The drawing was in white plain polish and looked really bad. It looked like a blob of white out on my toe. He said "you like?" I answered, "sorry I don't." And he got upset. When I got up to do my manicure she asked if I wanted the same color. I told her I did, but would prefer if she thinned the polish so it didn't look lumpy the way it did on my toes and she said no again and proceeded to polish. Before she was done I asked her if they looked ok to her and she started arguing with her husband in their language and walked out. I was left to finish my own nails and he told me to wait, that he would do it when he finished with his customer. I told him" no, thank you. I'll finish myself, I just won't be back." I don't like to effect people's livelihood or business, but if you're having a bad day, close your business down for the day. Don't take my money and try to take me for a fool. I NEVER give reviews but I came here to get my nails done with only shellac. I found it weird they charged $5 extra to take off the shellac that was already on my nails but I didn't complain I said okay. First off the lady didn't do anything that typical salons do when doing nails all she did was take off the shellac and files the nails and while using the dremel she kept putting it on my skin like I understand that happens on accident sometimes but she kept making it happen like that doesn't hurt. Then when I picked out a color on the nail ring the color she out on my nails was completely different from the color I had picked. I showed the man the difference from the color on my nails And the color I had picked. He tried to say it was because the tint of my natural nail color. Definitely not the case. I've never had this problem elsewhere. I asked if I could have the color changed and he said they don't change colors if shellac is on it. What happen to making your customers happy and satisfied? I will never go back here. The salon in Southland mall is expensive but much better. Besides my nails not being the color I had picked they were streaky even after 2 coats. There was spots unpolished like the space right below my cuticle. They weren't shiny at all. Very dull. I had just got them done and it looked like I had them done for a week already. This place is horrid!!! I will never go back again. Went in for a shellac manicure and just got a hot mess. They just slapped on some shellac and called it a day. The shellac was all over my cuticles and chipped in two days. Total waste of my money. I would never recommend. Read Less

Okay this place is inside Walmart in Southgate. The people who work there don't speak English an rarely understand it, so there's a huge language barrier there. They are very polite and patient. They are reasonably priced because they are in Walmart, I guess. Their "spa pedicure" is only $20. They have a huge selection of colors to choose from and the place looks really clean. I honestly say that getting a many is okay, but it's the spa pedi I adore. One time I went in I picked out 2 of their colors ( blue and blue glitter) and the guy who gave me the pedicure gave the basics then used a salt scrub on legs and feet exfoliating them, then puts lotion and massaged them for like 20 minutes. After went on a heated towel on my legs. He applied the nail polish and actually took the time to make sure the glitter was evenly distributed-- picking out the pieces with the brush and slowly applying them. First I'd like to start out by saying I give everyone a fair chance to win me over as a customer. I pay and tip well. Although I only like manicures doesn't mean I am cheap. I can get two a week if I pick at my polish which sometimes happens or I just don't like the color and want it changed. I started coming here about two months ago, The first manicure the guy gave me was immaculate. It was very nice and with two or three coats. and he started out soaking my cuticles, treating them. Putting lotion on and massaging my hands before painting them. That manicure lasted two weeks, I was very satisfied. The next visit I decided to get the mani pedi combo, the girl who did it didn't take her time and not only rushed through my toes but also my finger nails. She painted both bad, the polish was smeared and it was only one coat plus the clear. I still gave her a small tip thinking next time I come back I'll go with the guy. (mind you there's only two people that work here) So the next time I came here a week later(which I would have gotten the pedi but it was done badly so I didn't) And I got the manicure. This time the guy did most of it well, The normal procedure but was a little rushed and ended using a nail polish that was old and left tons of bubbles under the clear coat which gave it a horribl finish. I decided maybe this is all coincidence, all the bad recurrences. But no finally since that polish looked so bad I decided to come back and this time for a French manicure. Not only did the guy not soak my cuticles or treat them, he didn't use lotion or massage me or anything. Does this jerk think I'm a SUCKER!! Not only that but I had to tell him multiple time to finish removing the old nail polish from the previous manicure. He literally half ass took off my nail polish from the previous visit didn't do any washing or lotion treating, no massage just took off the nail polish them started painting my nails. And only ONE coat. I didn't clean or wash dishes or do much at all but drive around and go to my dr's office. Well 24 hours after my French mani all of my tips are cracked off. the whit is almost completely chipped off. It looks cheap and I need my nails perfect for when I go into labor. I WILL NOT BE GOING BACK. They will do a good job one time, but unless your dropping a gold mind they won't do a good job even if your tipping. Stay away from this place Read Less

You would be surprised to find such a good place inside a walmart. The workers really seem to know what they are doing. The workers are nice and I don't get the "they're talking about me in their language" feeling. I got their hot rock pedicure for $20 and gellish nails for $15, best $35 I have ever spent. Read Less
