I had a horrid experienced at the last place I went to and after trying Shelby Nail Salon in Shelby Charter Township. There's no reason not to check out Shelby Nail Salon!! I booked an appointment here and they arranged me a comfortable seat. They had an excellent collection of nail polishes for clients. It was more fabulous than anywhere else for my nails done. I love Shellby Nail Salon in Shelby Charter Township. The nail techs are great. My experience is always healing and relaxing. I did the monthly membership so it secures at a minimum I get 1 massage a month, but if I want more, the cost goes up a bit. What a great way to take care of myself. So relaxing when removing stress tension in my manicures. I was lucky to have the well-trained nail staff, and she did a great job! I decided to give Shelby Nail a try today and I am so happy I did. Little did I know this is a family business that has been around for 30 years...and that's saying a lot for a nail salon! The owner was so friendly and gave me a discount on my nails because it was my first visit. The salon was VERY clean (and currently being renovated) with new massage chairs. Most importantly my feet and hands look AMAZING. My mani/pedi is absolutely perfect. They took their time and made sure I was happy with everything. The most unprofessional and rude nail salon I have ever experienced. The techs son shut down the cable and credit card machine before I was finished, and then they took over 30 min to figure out how to get the machine functional again. They tried to record my credit card number to input it later and got upset that I wouldn't let them copy it down...are you kidding me why don't I freely let you steal my identity. After they finally got a family member to drive back to the store to fix the machine, there was no apology for my wait, no discount for my time, just rudeness and continued unprofessional behavior. The entire time I was just standing there quiet on my phone. After such lack of service, I declined to leave a tip, and the family member that drove in to fix the machine began to berate me and followed me out of the store to my car screaming at me that I was ungrateful and to never come back. I'm writing this review as I sit in the salon waiting for my toes to dry. For the past two years, my mother, my sister, and myself have been loyal customers. The service was always great. Today, I am furious. I walked in to have a pedicure done and was seated promptly. My feet were soaking and all was well. Until my technician decided that another customer was more important than me. She got up from my pedicure chair, and proceeded to begin a manicure on another customer who had just walked in. It's been over 30 minutes and I am still sitting in this chair soaking. I will never step foot in this place again. Rude and unprofessional. I'll spend my money elsewhere, at a salon where they take my business seriously. Read Less

My wife has been coming here for over a year, and she loves the level of service & the techniques of Theresa. And products some OP1 gel polish.So she treated me to a pedicure. I gotta admit I was reluctant & asked her to make sure Theresa was not afraid to ruin her tools on my man feet. Theresa had nary a concern. 'you tell him to come in & I will take care of him'I booked an appointment, met & was greeted by Theresa the owner & she is all about providing a relaxing/comforting experience.She took me to her chair , which was overstuffed comfy & had massage options.Also the bowl to soak in was generous in size, I never felt restricted or claustrophobic .She soaked me & treated me to a 5 star pedicure/spa treatment , which beyond clipping/filing & sanding, included hot towel wraps & I got all lotion-ed & lathered up.If your looking for  a great nail place for a mani -pedi go here, plus its by 3  of my other favoritesChina ChefLa Tortuga MexicanNicks 22nd street steak house!
