The person doing my nails just kept filing my nails after I asked for my polish to be taken off, I don't think they understood what acetone/ remover was. Horrible. I went in & wanted only full set acryllc. No one even talked to me at first, just said pick a color and sit down . the nail tech filled my nail bed down with the drill so much it actually hurt, then actually stabbed me making me bleed with one of the drill attachments. My nails look awful, not even the full nail is covered with the acrylic but they are sore and in too much pain for me to take off. Never going back again Read Less

This shop just changed owner so definitely come and check them out. The new owner is very nice. I was happened to be town and needed a pedi. The owner Kim Chi took a very good care of my nail. Her other staffs are also friendly as well. I felt very relaxed and pleased with the whole experience. You won't be disappointed. I used to come here all the time. The last few visits have been less than satisfactory. There is no reason for my nails to be lifting after only four days. The last time I came in, I had fresh nails- it had been about five months since I had last been to a nail salon. The tech charged me $50 for a new full set. When I questioned her (it's $35. Even the sign by the door says so), she gave me an attitude and started talking about me. It's a shame since like I said, I had been going there for about five years. Had not been to salon in two years, left because of negative reception of female owner Lee, and sub par work performed by her and staff. Decided to try again, received same nasty demeanor , as well as observing her being rude and inattentive to another two clients. We were all obviously frustrated with her behavior, and discussed this amongst ourselves.. They left, and I received the wrath of her displeasure at our displeasure, becoming personal and racial in her tirade, following me outside screaming. First couple times my nails were very impressive, but every time I went constantly telling how awful my cuticles are, which is bull I keep my nails well trimmed and they were told MULTIPLE times I have auto immune problems and continued to embarrass me! So went somewhere else. Came back in a few months and getting their top services at $131! 2 times they broke in a week, discouraged I asked for the owner to do them, exact same services and always making my cuticles bleed and tell me I'm a Wuss! Charged me $151!!!! Saying she did my cuticles noooo you did not!! You made me bleed and I never asked for that service!! I was charged extra for coffin nails but they are completely huge square nails!! And unsightly thick and bulky and very uneven!! I will never go back! I had every right to walk out and not pay!!! Been there a few times and I keep giving it another chance. They do a great job but it's not worth being uncomfortable the whole time. They push you into getting something you don't want or need. Always trying to sell you anything and everything. The owner acts like she's sweet but you can tell her employees hate her. I would rather pay more and feel comfortable then go there. Read Less

I came here recently with one of my best friends, and it was both of our first time here. I am very wary of new nail salons that I've never heard of, as I have had numerous past bad experiences at unknown nail salons. However, that was not the case here. My friend and I didn't have an appointment and we just walked in. We were immediately greeted and told to pick our colors. While choosing our colors, our pedicure basins were being cleaned, lined and filled. The water was the perfect temperature, and the service was great! The man who did my nails was very nice and understanding of the fact that I'm terrible with nails and was more than compliant in doing exactly what I needed/wanted for my pedicure. We also got leg massages, and all the dead skin was scraped off of our feet (that tickled like crazy, but that's just because I have super ticklish feet, and isn't their fault). In the end, both my friend and I were extremely pleased with the results and will be coming back in the future. The nail tech did an okay job, but put my replacement nail (which was ten dollars for one nail) was put on crooked. Then I was being pushed to get shellac and then when I didn't want it the lady started laughing about me in another language to her coworkers. This is my second time here.  First experience was fantastic.  This time was a pretty rude experience.  I felt as though I was a bother to the two girls working, with zero customers in sight.  Whenever I asked a question or for the girl to do any thing the way I'm used to, it was nothing but attitude.  Immediately after my pedicure they turned the tv off and wanted me to leave.  I asked if I could please dry for a few minutes, again attitude.  There sign clearly states they are opened until 8, it was only 6:30!! I got to dry for 5 min and then one of the girls sprayed the can air in my toes and said have a good night.  I'm stunned by this, I don't see how they'll be in business for very long with this type of customer service.  Good luck!!! Love this place! I see Lee, who is appointment only, but she is fantastic. She is super sweet, takes her time and really listens to her clients. I highly recommend coming here! I've tried many places in the past, and wish I found this place sooner. I will not go anywhere else, I trust the work they do. Okay the first time I went here I got a pedicure and a manicure with pink and white set and total cost me $58 .Then for the pink only fill two weeks later was $25.00, Another two after that I decided to get a whole new set on minus the nail tips and a pedicure again.... this time the price $88!!!  I'm sorry but I've never paid anywhere near that for what I got done today for a manicure pedicure ever!!!and to top it off the gel isn't even on a couple nails,so I have to go back to get it fixed! All I know is the prices keep changing and she couldn't break it down for me besides oh we took off your other nails so what did that cost another $30 you're crazy!! I have visited many of the nail salons in the Utica/Shelby Twp. area and this is by far the BEST for pedicures. I've had between 5-10 here and they seriously get better each time I come in! The owners/staff are always welcoming and super nice. I'll definitely be back! Read Less

My family and I go here every two weeks for a manicure and pedicure. We keep coming back for a couple of reasons. 1- The owners are incredibly nice and are very customer service oriented. 2- The staff take their time and do a quality job to ensure you get full value. 3- The prices are very reasonable and finally 4- They truly appreciate your business and bend over backwards to ensure you are satisfied. They make you feel comfortable and also have a wide selection of colors and services.  We pass several nail places and drive 20 miles for this one because they are really good. Read Less

I took my 6 year old here for mommy daughter manis. The end result was good but getting there was a bit bumpy. They were very busy and said it would be 15 minutes. It was really more like 35. My manicure turned out good but the person doing the manicure was more worried about the owner yelling at them at the end of the day than anything else. Apparently the owner didn't think they were moving fast enough. The lady who did my daughters nails used cuticle clippers (on a 6 year old??) and was really hurting her.  Even after we told her and asked her to stop she kept going. Finally after my daughter was crying I had to look in her eyes and say to please just polish them. After that it was fine and we had nice nails. Can't say I would go back though. Read Less

I recently came in here on Saturday with my mom to get a pedicure before our big trip. My pedicurist was very rough on my feet and dug so deep into the sides of my nail and cuticle that I have a red ring under them. I just found out that a have a toe infection as well from how dirty the place was and how rough she was on me. She was also on her phone for 10 before even painting my toes. This nail salon has really come far! They had updated and upgraded everything! The owner is so sweet and nice...and the employees are great! A few months ago I had come in a few minutes before closing and with the intention of walking back out to go the next day, the owner said to come right in! I hate being that customer!I came in again a couple months later and got a pedicure...so relaxing and the chairs are great! The nail tech did an amazing job! Husband and wife team ... Very friendly and chatty.  My nails turned out great... My moms manicure which was not a shellac not so much.... Would say that they are fairly priced... Tony does an amazing job with Pedicures, but this is the ONLY positive thing about this place. The owner/wife Li is awful. Awful customer service!! Disgustingly unsanitary as well. They really should have a state inspection done as I am sure MI would shut them down ASAP. Also, anytime that I have tried to see Tony for a pedicure, I'm told a 4 hour wait and that I should make an appt. Then, I call to make an appt., and I'm told they don't take appts.
