My nail guy was very, very rude during the duration of my time there. My acrylic nail also fell off the day after I got them done. Not to mention my nail guy burned every single nail on my hand with the motorized file to the point where I was in excruciating pain. These people cut off a corner of my girlfriend’s toe by using an illegal tool. She asked multiple times for a band-aid and never received one. Instead of working with her and refunding the pedicure, they made her pay and then yelled at her to leave. I would never recommend this place for yourself or anyone you care about. Read Less

I don’t usually write reviews but this place was not pleasant. They hurt my daughter’s cuticles and the entire manicure was rushed.Btw did not last two weeks (for gel manicure)as they stated, it faded and chipped off rather quickly. Open on Sunday (unlike my usual place) so I decided to try it and got a regular manicure. All was going well until the polish. It looks very sloppy, they don't clean around the edges, and she did 3 coats plus top coat and base in about 3 minutes. Also they charge an additional $2 if you pay by credit card which is kind of ridiculous these days. I would not recommend this nail salon with so many other options in the area. Read Less

Got a good/quick shellac manicure, the worker said little to nothing to me during (which is totally fine). Decided to get my eyebrows waxed too and the lady made it VERY obvious she did not want to do so. She did the wax in less than 2 minutes, didn't pluck my eyebrows, then proceeded to walk out of the room while saying "you're done" before I could even look in the mirror. Offered her a $2 tip--which was too much in my opinion for an awful $10 wax--and received no thank you. The work just pocketed the money and resumed on the computer. Will not be going back. Love my nail tech Tina she took her time gave me an amazing pedicure I wanted to fall asleep in chair. Plus going on vaca she made suggestion to do shellac on both my toes and hands. Never did before but I love it! The color I picked also changes color so if my hands or toes at cold it turns to darker blue. When in heat it lightens up! Fun fun fun for vaca!!! Read Less

Myself, just like many people have run into many cases of bad customer service. Though I have never felt the need to leave a bad review until now. I came into this salon for the first and last time to get my shellac soaked off, a regular polish manicure, and a polish change on my toes. Angela was the name of the nail tech that I was getting "service" from. From the very start, she was extremely rude to me. She looked so angry that I felt the need to ask her if she was alright and if I had offended her in anyway. Even after that she continued to treat me the same way. We started off with the polish change on my toes. She started to file my nails, but they were very long so I asked her to cut them (not asking much). It was obvious that this request angered her. After retreiving the clippers she started to cut my nails. She put little to no effort in this and did not even cut every nail. Angela's idea of filing nails was two swipes with the file, and left the corners sharpe and jagged. At this point my toenails were crooked, sharp, and jagged. I decided to tell Angela that I no longer wanted a manicure, and to only charge me for soaking off the shellac ($10). Angela became even more frustrated with me and carried on with my toes. I asked her to file the corners so that they would not snag, become ingrown, or irritate my other toes from being so sharp. She was so angry. Again, put little to no effort and almost seemed like she was purposely trying to make them look worse. I have never experienced anything like this in my entire life. While all of this was happening, I remained kind and polite. I was literally trying to kill her with kindness in hopes that her mood would change instead of giving her a piece of my mind like I truly wanted to. Angela and I headed back to take the shellac off my nails. She was very forceful with the cuticle pusher and even scraped off a bit of the top layer of the nail. Continued with her unique way of filing and sent me on my way. I was charged $22 for this nightmare. I have been in customer service most of my life and even worked as a nail tech for two years before becoming a teacher. I always tip very well. Somehow I still left the woman a $2 tip. As soon as I walked out the door I regretted it, she didn't even deserve that. I walked into this nail salon with hopes of a beautiful manicure and polish change. Instead, I walked out with crooked toe nails, polish all over my skin, and no manicure. During this time, I took the time to look around at the other nail techs and the work they were doing. They were all so friendly with their customers! Some laughing, conversating. The way it should be when getting service in a salon. Because of my terrible experience with Angela, the rest of the enployees that could be wonderful will never receive my service.  I cannot speak for the rest of the salon, but I highly recommend that you avoid Angela. I will start by saying that I was a walkin, and did not have an appointment. When I arrived, there were a few people ahead of me. I asked if I could be in and out in an hour and a half. He said no problem. I waited in the waiting area for 30 minutes, and then was told to go soak in the tub. I was already getting a little nervous on the time, but decided to continue. I sat soaking in the tub, which was luke warm to begin with, for 45 minutes before I finally asked for a towel to dry off and leave. I will not be returning. Read Less

Upon receiving my lotion after nail polish. I left my ring at station with tech. When I returned home I realized my ring was missing. I returned to salon after calling. The salon denied taking ring. My husband knows fluent Vietnamese. I was accused of not having ring. A police report is being filed for investigation. This was my first visit to a salon in ten years. My First Yelp...GREAT TECH, AWFUL OWNER. WILL NOT TOLERATE BEING PUBLICLY YELLED AT AND RIDICULED...AND YOU SHOULDN'T EITHER. I loved getting my nails done here by a wonderful tech who goes by the nickname "Lion." She is adorable and does a great job. Unfortunately, the owner Brian has been verbally nasty to several customers within my earshot during the time I've gone there. It troubled me. I was recently diagnosed with a serious illness and getting around has become very difficult. I have been late to two appointments by less than 15 minutes since my diagnosis. I absolutely understand having to give my appt. away and I have been more than happy to reschedule (it should be noted I've waited over an hour at times, however). What I will ABSOLUTELY NOT TOLERATE is being yelled at and publicly ridiculed in front of other clients over my "rudeness" for being late, which is what occurred yesterday. Honestly, I was unable to even get a word in edgewise to apologize. Brian ranted in front of the entire salon. Getting salon services is supposed to be a relaxing and enjoyable experience, and it has become my one special time away. It has become confrontational and without reason. It is a real shame that I lost my nail tech. Shame on this business for losing a client who regularly tips more than 30%, had a warm relationship with her tech, and treated the staff with kindness. I'm not thrilled with the end result of my $68 mani/pedi (before tip). The water for my pedi was cold and the tech couldn't really tell me the difference between the basic pedi and the deluxe. Although she knew the price difference! My mani was ok, the tech didn't do a very good job on my shellac. She painted over my skin at the edge of my nails and when it cured the shellac was stuck to skin. It was uncomfortable and I tried to peel if off my skin but it ruin my nails. She also didn't do a great job on my tips, she painted the white tip straight across rather then contouring the white tip to my natural nail. I don't think I'll be going back. Read Less

My friend and I walked in to get pedi's on a Saturday and were seated right away. However, we had to wait awhile for someone to do our feet. Luckily we were there together and had time to catch up. I'd be super bored if I were alone! I hadn't had my toes done in a while so the pedicurist took his time and made my feet look fab! However, the woman who was doing my friends feet spent more time socializing than giving a pedi! I was done and my friend had to wait about ten min to get her toes polished because the girl was too busy talking to other people! Then when she was done, she didn't even tell her how much the pedi was! I personally had a good experience so I would go back and fingers crossed I get the same guy to do my toes! Read Less

I have been getting my nails done at Forever Nails for about a year now and LOVE it.  The staff is all really friendly and I really like how Brian and Kim do my pink and whites.  I never have to wait very long, and if you make an appointment they are really good about getting you in on time (unlike so many other nail salons). I am a big fan of this nail salon.Owners Bryant and Kim do a lovely job of keeping the place clean, pleasant and a joy to visit.The color scheme is pleasing to the senses and there is always music on, which is how it's supposed to be when you are going somewhere to be pampered!!!! Everyone is very friendly when you arrive....I'm always greeted with smiles.The interior layout is also well done. A comfortable seating area for clients who have to wait...fully equipped with coffee/tea.... the pedi area is in the rear portion of the space, with a tied-back curtain separating the mani area from the pedi area. There are also private rooms for waxing, etc. in the very back.The techs are awesome.Kim Olivieri is hands-down the best tech EVER. If you can get in to see her, I highly advise it - tell her Tara sent you!For the ladies who want a little eye candy, ask for Junior. After getting my nails done for 6 years and always having problems with lifting and leaving salons with spoon shaped nails, which I cant stand, I found Brian. I went to him for quite some time when he was on Hayes in Clinton Township and I was upset when I was told he was no longer there, but I was happy again when I happened to walk into a nail salon in Washington, to find that Brian had moved here!
