"Happy" nails definitely will NOT make you happy, I would give them less than 1 star if I could. I came in for a fill in and it started out fine. I have very sharp stiletto nails, so i asked the nail tech if she could sharpen them a little. Instead of sharpening them, she filed the tips and rounded them! She ignored all of my attempts to stop her. I had to literally pull my hand away! Eventually her son came over and described to her what I wanted. By that point it was too late and the nails on my left had were noticeably shorter than my right hand. The older woman doing my nails got an EXTREMELY sour attitude and had her son try to fix it (he did try his best and shaped my right hand very well). I brought the mistake to their attention and they claimed they had no time to fix it and I should come back the next day (something I did not have time for with my busy schedule). On top of that instead of charging me for a fill in they charged me for a full set and tried to claim it was because I had a matte top coat (which I have never heard of charging extra for) and because I had them "re-shaped". THEY CHARGED ME FOR SHAPING THEM WHEN THEY COMPLETELY MESSED THEM UP IN THE FIRST PLACE. They also said they'd refund me the difference but of course they never did. I'm actually going to have to file a dispute with my bank about it. NEVER EVER COME HERE!!! Read Less

Absolutely Shocking. nail artist needed to be reminded SEVERAL times to be gentle with my hands, and yet she continues carelessly as if my fingers were cheese and she were grating cheese with a grater. Nail artist was filled with anger (for no apparent reason) and unapologetic, needless to say I left with bleeding skin and the tackiest/ugliest nails possible. Read Less

Lady working got way to close to my cuticle on my thumb. I asked for a coffin shape, even though I got my nails decently short because of work, She did not correctly shape the nails. The other worker in the shop had to slightly correct the shaping. This shop does not really have a huge nail polish selection so you may want to bring your own. My experience here was okay. It’s not a perfect service but I want to deliver a fair description about this place (a lot of the reviews here seem either very nice or very harsh) Went here for my first SNS manicure Since I rarely get my nails done, the manicurist had to remove my cuticles and file to shape the nails. The filing wasn’t too bad but they use the electric buffer and it hurt on some nails more than others - I bled on 1 finger. But they seemed to be liked by the wom...an next to me who was a regular. Upon entering, I asked if they did nail art. The owner/manager assured me that they could. The manicurist finished up the SNS really quickly and I enjoyed how skilled she was with it. She left 2 nails I specified on each hand for the nail art and I was to wait for another worker to come in as he was on his lunch break. He apparently had experience in nail art After a 5-10 minute wait, he came and started to prep for working on my nails. I told him I wanted to have snowflakes painted on my accent nails and he painted 8-pointed stars in black (the SNS was white) and added gold and silver dots. I showed him a picture of a simple snowflake nail art from google and he attempted on another nail but I wasn’t too fond of it. I asked him if he could change it, and he said that it doesn’t look the same because if I had a white snowflake like in the picture, it wouldn’t appear on the white SNS background. I knew that, and I didn’t mind the colour. I suspect they do not do nail art often as other customers only got simple nails and when another worker was asked to draw a heart, she had to practice privately beforehand. Also, the tools my nail art guy worked with weren’t very precise for nail art and were only very thin brushes. Anyways, safe to say, he was annoyed (seeing as I made him come off his lunch break for a few more dollars to end up with no product which is completely understandable). He quickly sealed the SNS (although 2 out of 4 nails were not sealed properly I must mention) and said I could go after 5 minutes. There was no one attending me during that time and I had to ask a random worker if I was ready to go. When leaving, I asked the cashier to apologise to the nail art guy for me but since she struggled to know who i was talking about or what incident, I’m not sure if he got the message Still, my nails look nice and $45 for SNS isn’t the worst price out there so it’s not all bad Mehr anzeigen Read Less

Absolutely the worst shellac on my hands I’ve ever had... Started to peel off within 24hrs. Also, asked for a buff and polish on my toes and you could see my old paint job underneath the new shellac.... Will NEVER EVER go back again. Read Less

I'm sitting here getting infills done. The lady attending to me is soooo rude. She rushed me to pick a colour and I thought it was because someone else was waiting to choose but it wasn't! Then she told me not to move otherwise she would make a mistake! Last but not least I picked up the colours again and she asked if I had changed my mind, when I said no, she snatched them away from me! Never met a more rude woman in my life. Worst experience ever! It took almost 2 hours to get s and s done, then the colour that I chose looked completely different. They told me that it was because my skin is too light and the powder was uneven, like it was my fault. They never mentioned this to me before I got my nails done. They then re-did one nail with 3 coates and it came out white. My nails are all lumpy and uneven and different colours. When my nails were being done the girl added tips to the end and told me it was standard for s and s. Not only did she glue the tips on crooked, but then she made my fingers bleed when she was filing them and charged me extra. Staff were rude and told me the colour on all my nails was the same and that I needed to get my eyes tested. I will never go back! I would not recommend this place to anyone! Read Less

Got my eyebrows done here today and the lady burnt my skin, called to notify them and the manager tried to blame it on my "sensitive skin" that I assured her I didn't have and in the 10 years that I've been doing my eyebrows I've never had this issue. This was my 1st and last visit. I got a gel fill-in. The lady did a rush job on my nails..She nicked me a few time with the drill ...My nails was not smooth. She polished extremely fast. Which left the sides of my nails unpolished . I had to go back to her chair twice because I noticed the sides of my nails had no polish from her rushing. When I told her that she missed a few spots on each of my nails she act with and attitude and then began to speak in her foreign language. Came here the other day for a shellac manicure. I should have left the moment I walked in. However I didnt. They hardly had any colors to choose from... maybe 20. He did a terrible job shaping my nails and the Polish job is terrible as well. It's bumpy and thick, and polished way above my cuticles. Save yourself from ugly nails. Do not go here Read Less

For an inexpensive pedicure, this place is a good one.  I've had several compliments on how good my toenails look.  I've talked to several enthusiastic folks who have frequented this business for the past 15 years and they keep coming back.  Don't expect a very upscale salon, but this one is kept up and the couple who works there are very competent. I went there one time for the first time for acrylics and I tell you what, NEVER AGAIN. The lady that did my nails was nothing but rude and put one of my nails on crooked. A not so happy experience at Happy Nails. I decided to stop here for my shellac manicure instead of my usual place because it was a little closer to home, and all of those Asian places are the same, right? Wrong! Big mistake. I had a bad feeling when I first walked in because the place just looked a little bare bones and shoddy, but decided to go ahead anyway. They had a very sparse selection of colors for shellac, but I found one that I liked, and off we went. My nail tech was a guy. . and I have never had a worse manicure! I have cuts on three of my fingers from where he got a little too enthusiastic with the cuticle trimmer, and I actually had to re-file my nails when I got home because they were so uneven and were actually ragged in spots. As for the shellac itself, it looks uneven as well - thicker in some places than others, and my right thumb nail is actually *stuck* to the skin because he was so sloppy with the shellac! What a total disaster, and waste of $28. I really should have refused to pay for that slop job, but I didn't want to sit through a redo - I just wanted to get the heck outta there and never look back. I wish I could give this place ZERO stars. Lesson learned: If you find a good nail salon, stick with it. Read Less
