Very clean. They do not do acrylics so it doesn't reek of chemicals like other salons. Pedicure was good but the polish on my finger nails chipped the next day to the point I had to remove the paint. My fingernails never hold polish well but one day is extreme even for me. The salon is very small so you really need an appointment. I only wish the new owners had started a new page to start over on the salon's reviews. Sally and Nina were great! Wonderful spa pedicure with just enough conversation for them to get to know me a little, for me to get to know them a little, and time enough for me to do a little of my own reading. US Nails 32713 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak, MI 48073, USA Sadly, I report that when I recently ( Labor Day Weekend) tried to use a gift certificate from this retailer I was told that they cannot accept gift certificates as they recently changed hands. I believe that this is against Michigan Law but chose not to make a fuss over $50.00 and simply NEVER do business here again. I switched to US Nails when I had a poor shellac job at another salon. From the time I walked in the door everyone was friendly and helpful. It's not often that anyone other than your manicurist speaks with you during your visit, but this location has superb customer service. If you have never tried the dipping powder, try it! I swear by it. It lasts much longer than shellac and you do not have to go under the UV light. Sally does my nails each visit and each time is fantastic. The pedicure chairs are new and they use caps inside of the pedicure bowls to ensure cleanliness. I appreciate seeing that they clean the bowl after each customer. A hot stone massage comes with the pedicure too!The salon is clean and well maintained. Quality of mani pedi was fine. But they booked same day appointments for 2 people without enough staff to do the work. I was here over 2 hours! Plus they took another lady ahead of me, she is probably a regular. Said the were waiting for another staff member to come in but she was 1 1/2 hours late. Read Less

I love us nails. The new owner very friendly. She does acrylic, gel, pink & white, waxing, shellac...ect..love her new pedicure chairs, tubs cover with liners, sugar scrub and organic lotion. Henry and Jennifer are some of the the sweetest people! They both went above and beyond what I would have expected. Took time to get my water temperature just right, they use a sanitary liner for the pedicure bowl and have a large variety of colors to choose from. The people answering the phone and speaking to other customers were friendly, and although my manicurist was friendly enough, she did not listen to my repeated requests not to clip my cuticles, but I was happy that I had remained firm when I saw her put her manicure tools in a dirty ceramic pencil cup, along with pens, pencils, rubber bands, etc. I also watched while I was sitting on the couch drying my nails, and she used the same tools on her next customer without cleaning them off or putting them in a sterile solution first. GROSS!! The basins of the pedicure chairs were splashed over very briefly with soap and then filled again for tne next customer. The hand and foot massages that accompanied my mani/pedi made me feel like my hands and feet were some type of water pump. She moved her hands up and down very, very quickly and allowed her nails to scratch me several times. Seriously, the prices are great, but it can't possibly be worth the risk of infection. Stay away.
