Because of the last time I went in I didn't have the usual lady that I get and this particular lady did a sloppy job and I wasn't satisfied but I called and let the manager know and it took me a week later to get back in because of work and he still fixed it. I have been going to VIP for years but today will be my very last day. The owner is rude. He has an attitude if you ask any type of question. It’s like a “Why are you even talking to me?” vibe. I tried to ignore it because I love Nancy (table 14)! Today however, table #19 cut my cuticle (to the point it was bleeding) and did the sloppiest job on my white shellac. Refused to polish my toes before doing my hands because she’s “slow with hands” (her words) despite customer request. When I told the owner and manager (tables 1 and 2) about my experience their demeanor (ESPECIALLY THE OWNER) said they could care less. They told me to have the same nail tech that messed my nails up & cut me to put another coat on my sloppy, lumpy nails. The manager (table 2) ended up putting another coat on to make my nails look presentable but never once apologized for my crappy experience. Or the fact that I have about 10 coats of shellac on my hands just to keep it from looking like an 8 year old did my nails. After 8 years I’m so sad to say I have to find a new nail shop! Read Less

The worst nail salon experience ever! It was my first time coming to this place and I was excited because not only had I heard from word of mouth but also the reviews on here. I went to Vince because I heard he was really good at getting your shape really precise and he was out his acrylic application was mediocre. Honestly I could’ve done a better job. He also charged me $45 for the set pictured below. Which was outrageous and I still tipped him $5 because I didn’t know how outrageous the price was until I talked to others who’ve been to him. This place has the WORST customer service ever. I walked in with almond shaped nails for a fill in. I wanted daisies on my ring finger and she first told me it was too complicated, then i pick a simplistic version and she tells me she can’t do it because of the shape of my nails. Then when I go to pay, they charged me extra for the shape of my nails without telling me it would be extra in the beginning. Last night was my first visit and i am beyond happy with my service. The woman that did my nails did an amazing job!!! I also saw first hand how they are treated and that's the only thing that ruined my visit. These men and woman do nothing but work on people's hands and feet ALL day and some people are just beyond awful to them!! The male at the front door is extremely rude and don't care about anything but money! I go faithfully ever two weeks and spend between $65 and $100 and last night I after leaving in flip flops and polish on my toes never dryer do to them adding too much remover to polish instead of replenishing the polish, I went to get it fixed with my receipt and he tried to charge me $10! Went in today for a shellac manicure with a soak off and was charged $35. $10 of that was to pop off my nails not soak them off. She soaked my nails for 30seconds in water to soften my cuticles. I left withThen polish my nails with a thin coat & when asked to do another coat I was told its a $5 charge. No hand massage or anything. I still have old polish on my nails. Some customers need to learn to be more patient and pay attention to how busy they really can be at times. Vip nails is very good at what they do and run it very efficiently at what they do best at accommodating so many women or men that come in their door from the time they open till the time they close. If u sign in stay in the building. U leave u miss ur name and come back and demand to be waited on and then in return it’s automatically VIPs fault. I have seen this many times. Literally just a yingyang nail and the rest white, so when we get to the design part she messed it up three times, so i ask for someone else to do it. So extremely dirty. I recently got a shellac manicure and she soaked my fingers in a bowl of acetone (which was fine) but when we were done soaking she sucked the used acetone back into the main bottle of acetone to use on other customers. I have gone there a few times and once I got a rash under my eyebrows after waxing. I thought maybe I was sensitive since I had had it done there before with no issue. I'm shocked this place has poor reviews! Maybe it depends on the technician you go to. I've been going to #17 for months and he is the BEST. He will do any shape/style you want absolutely perfect and he takes his time- I mean seriously takes his time, I spend usually 1.5 or 2 hours here including my wait to see him since they don't do appointments. I really wish they had appointments because it is frustrating waiting for your nail tech, especially if they just started with someone.They are quite pricey when it comes to gel/Shellac. For a pedicure with shellac they add an additional $20! I got a shellac full set with a shellac pedicure and my total was $85! They say their regular acrylic set is only $18. They don't have tips on credit/debit card so you have to bring cash. :/ Read Less

I've been getting my nails done since I was 13 years old when my neighbor owned a nail salon. I've also worked in a salon so I'm very particular. That being said, I found them to be good & efficient with competitive pricing. The downfall is they don't accept appointments. I didn't go on weekends. I tried going midweek during lunch & after work. I even tried to go when they open on Sunday's & I was met with a line while waiting for them to open. I stopped going there. First time here.  Great price for a pedicure.  Not the warmest welcome and probably the fastest pedicure I have ever gotten. Not sure if that is a good thing. Place is nicely decorated with about 13 pedicure chairs.  I dont like that I cant see them cleaning the tubs. I've been to several other places that have the bleach spray right there.  Right now I have only seen them spray down with water and wipe with a towel.  Maybe the price isnt worth the hygiene and health factor. First I'll say that the prices are very reasonable and I've never had to wait. I have had a good pedicure here before as well.  Unfortunately, I haven't been as lucky with their fill-ins.  On three separate occasions I've been disappointed with how they do my nails. They put the acrylic on so thick and don't sand them down enough.  They look like thick blobs instead of natural looking nails.  I understand they want to get you in and get you out but it doesn't take much more time to do a good job and keep the customer happy. VIP Nails was a breath of fresh air compared to some of the nail salons in the area.  They invested in space and expanded which gave them a lot more pedicure chairs.  The place is clean, the staff is courteous, and the customers are fun.  I've only had a pedicure and it was nice for the price, plus the massage chair was awesome!
