So for starters I waited an hour and a half for me
and my girlfriend to get our nails done. We finally go
back to the nail salon after waiting and they start
doing my nails I show them a picture of the nails I
want which are long straight ballerina nails not
coffin. I told the lady that those are not the shape of
the nails that I want and she took them off. She
stated she could not do my nails. I then walk over to
my girlfriend is she's getting her nails done by this
guy and supposed to be getting the same exact nails
as me. I told her that the lady cannot do my nails
and that they do not have nails that are straight
without them being curved like bird claws. I told my
girlfriend that hers were coffin nails but they were
actually really bad shaped coffin nails. My girlfriend
explain to the guy that she wanted the same exact
nails as me we both showed pictures of long street
nails the guy then says I cannot do your nails in that
I've only been doing nails for six months and I'm still
practicing. My girlfriend goes to the guy well you're
not practicing on me I want my nails done and I
want them done right if you cannot do them right
then I do not want them done. The guy then freaked
out took her fake nails off of her and left both of our
nails with glue on them and ripped nails where they
were super sharp and I've never seen such a thing.
This place should literally be shut down for the
customer service for the rudeness. I literally thought
me and my girlfriend ran a hidden camera like
someone was playing a prank on us but no it was A nightmare. It needs to be shut down. Even heard the guy that works there said Larry nasser was his hero . Gross 🤮

Omg so I honestly don't know where to begin. After walking through this deserted mall in hopes that my best friend and I could get our nails done for our girls day we finally found this nail salon if you even want to call it that.
We waited and hour and a half to leave in worse shape then when we arrived.I'd call it a nail school considering the fact that the guy working on my nails told me he had only started learning how to do nails 6 months ago. He said my set would cost $70 and he wanted to make sure I'd have the money like omg. Then I told him as long as
you do a good job and don't rush I don't mind paying $70 I'm used to paying double that in Arizona. Then he told me he wasn't going to do my nails at all because he's sure he won't be able to do a good job he freaked out and started popping all of my nails off ouch! I had to
ask him to soak the nails off because he was just going to rip them off with tweezers. So unprofessional. He completely ignored the picture that I showed him of how I wanted my nails done. My best friend also had a horrible nail tech who said she couldn't do the set that she asked for either then refused her service of a simple
polish job. If my best friend hadn't come over to me after being refused service idk what he was about to do to my nails but it wasn't what I asked for. My bestie and I were getting the exact same set and length. I wouldn't come here if it were the last standing salon in America. Stop
giving these people your money they treat customers like crap just trying to get them in and out fast. We ended up getting nail files from them and fixing the mess they made on us ourselves. ugh I wish I could give -000 stars

My nails are fine so far but the manager was absolutely inappropriate, bordering on sexual harassment. I went in for a pedicure, and the entire time he was speaking about old men having sexual relationships with young girls. He even mentioned that Larry Nassar was the “luckiest guy alive” for doing what he did and admitted that his only mistake was getting caught. Ladies, I would stay away for safety’s sake. Don’t bring your daughters, especially those who are younger. It is obvious that he is the kind of man who has a fetish for that kind of abuse. I wish I was exaggerating. Steer clear and stay safe. If this review can spare even one person the terrible experience, it will be worth writing out.

They only have two chairs for people waiting first off. So I stood for about 20 minutes waiting for a spot to open. The woman I had was very uninterested in doing the job at hand. She seemed very bothered by my being there. I asked for a manicure and gel nail polish and she looked me up and down and said with gel nail polish it was going to be an extra $10 and I said ok and then she said together it was $37 and she stared at me. I don't know if this was to see if I would leave or she didn't believe I could afford it. I have never really had any issues with gel before but one nail peeled off within 2 days and now within a week I have lost 4 complete nail polishes. They peeled completely off in one piece and took some of my nail with them. Never in my many years of getting manicures have I paid that much for a manicure or had the gel come off like this. I will not be back at all and would not recommend them to anyone after I saw that they were rushing people in and out of there while I was sitting there.

I came here instead of going to my usual nail tech. Horrible, will not go back. The prices are WAY too expensive for the quality given. 50$ for a fill and a pedicure is ridiculous, especially when my pedicure took five minutes. Anywhere else I would have received a hot towel and a sea salt scrub I got my cuticles done and thats about it. Ive gotten pedicures regularly for the last 12 years and never have I been charged so much for terrible service. The staff was rude and seemed bothered by customers. Never going back, wish I could get my money back.

I've been to many nail places, but Joanne is the best. It's been a few years since I've been going to Joanne, and I'm lucky I found the best.

Older lady with glasses filed off my shellac with a nail file taking skin off my nails as well. I always get the shellac soaked off but she was using her own nail to try to scrape it off and a nail file. Told her stop that it hurts. She just said sorry and kept using nail file. Horrible experience.

When I called the next day to complain and pretty much wanted my money back after I got cut twice, had to sit with acetone in a bowl on my lap while getting a pedicure because they wanted to rush all their customers the "owner" actually laughed at me and hung up the phone.

My nails are fine so far but the manager was absolutely inappropriate, bordering on sexual harassment. I went in for a pedicure, and the entire time he was speaking about old men having sexual relationships with young girls. They only have two chairs for people waiting first off. So I stood for about 20 minutes waiting for a spot to open. The woman I had was very uninterested in doing the job at hand. She seemed very bothered by my being there. I come to California Nails on a regular basis. I'm a regular of Joanne's and she always does a Beauitful job. My nails never break, I've never been cut, and my appointments are always on time. I've been to many nail places, but Joanne is the best. It's been a few years since I've been going to Joanne, and I'm lucky I found the best.
