I was a walk in customer today. The people working in this place are very rude. I wanted a full set of nails but only wanted to pay $25 which I have had before. This time I didn't like the length for the money I was going to pay. He refused to fix it. I asked if he could take the tips off and redo but he refused. He told me to take them off myself or go somewhere else. He wanted to charge me $5 to remove something he just did that I didn't like. He told me he doesn't need customers like me. Such a very gross place. Dusty and dirty. Every single chair has ALL the leather just ripped off. The regular polishes are all old and crusty. Most bottles can't even be opened. Over priced and horrible at even polishing! I have polish all over my skin and I have to go back to work. I think I'm going to stop and buy nail polish remover pads so I can take this garbage off. When this place opened, it was wonderful. The customer service and the quality of their work was remarkable. Even when I moved, I continued to drive to Rochester Hills to have them provide what I felt was a wonderful experience. Even after two visits that I felt were not the best, I gave them another try. Wanting to do something special with my daughter before she heads back up to school we decided on mani/pedi's. We walk in and no one acknowledges us, it isn't until I was looking at an employee to say can we get some assistance that we were greeted. We both picked out polish and were seated in the foot massager chairs for our pedicure. They run water for us both, I place my feet in the water which was barely warm as someone begins to work on my daughter's pedicure after about 45 minutes of having my feet in what is now nearly cold water I just tell them I will pay for my child's services at the point she just opted for a pedicure. I go wash my car across the street at a very busy car wash and come back and my daughter is finally finished. It took an hour and a half for a pedicure and 45 minutes for no one to say anything to me about the wait. No apologies or anything. Never ever again. SHOULD HAVE TRUSTED MY GUT AND WALKED OUT. DO NOT GO HERE! I was a walk-in customer for a shellac French manicure. The place just felt "dirty" when I walked in, but I gave it a chance anyway. A total of three different people worked on my manicure because the first guy, I'm assuming one of the owners or managers, had to keep getting up to get change for the others or talk on his cell phone or go on Facebook--while I sat there waiting. His first "substitute" sat down and was pulling out and slamming drawers looking for tools and things as it wasn't her station and she was very scrambled. He then came back for a minute or two then substitute number two came in, almost repeating what the others had already done. I know some people like it quiet, but a good nail tech would at least have made an attempt to see if I was one of those who liked conversation or quiet. Not one of them even attempted to engage in conversation--with ME that is. They were either on their phones talking while doing my nails or carrying on conversations in their native tongue making me feel like nothing more than an inconvenience and just slapping my hand (instead of a gently touch or guiding) when they were ready for the other hand. The original man finally sat down to complete the job (of course on his blue tooth). It's then that I noticed his nails were dirty. I mean really?? Left halfway through the manicure and asked to pay and the owner tried to charge us for full price for half the work. He lied and told us he was using liquid gel which is what we asked for and started using acrylic powder. I read the jar. He threatened to call the cops three times and only yelled at us when we spoke in a calm tone to try to come to an understanding. I did not sign the slip and told him I do not agree to the charge but he signed it for me anyway. This place is horrible. I had to call the Health Deperatment and place a complaint with the Cosmotology board. This place needs to be shut down. A lady in there said she was going there for nine years.... Not sure how she has not gotten a disease yet. This is unsanitary for the general public! My nail tech left in the middle of my manicure to go work on somebody else. Not impressed. Read Less

Worst service I have ever received. Never in my life have I had such a horrible nail job.  I got cut twice and I am immune compromised.  The lady who was filing them didn't seem to know what she was doing. My nails were cut to be a shorter size and all came out uneven. I have never in my life had such a shitty nail job. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Avoid this place at all costs. Dirty, Unprofessional, Should be Closed!I went to the salon about a couple years ago I sat in the chair just wanted my nails done I get acrylics I didn't really say anything to the woman 2 minutes later she looked at me and she said you don't look good ,you look like my grandmother that  passed away 20 years ago how dare she say that to me I said excuse me just do my nails I would have walked out but I was on my way to a wedding. December of last year, my boyfriend was persistent about me if my nails done everyone in the family hinted that I was getting at engagement ring a Christmas, it was two days before Christmas and all other nail salons were booked up of course so I thought okay I'll go back in.The same woman was doing my nails she said to me and needless to say she didn't even know me she only knew my name she said to me you know you do a lot for other people you are so old looking you need a facial I said just do my nails please then she said I bet you haven't had your feet done in a long time you need this you need that you look so old I set again please just do my nails. Then I thought my revenge is sweet I'm Italian so I said to her you know what you're right I do do a lot for other people put me down for a facial and a massage and a wax my eyebrows and a pedicure and a manicure install old she was so excited she said okay I'll let you know he is going to come to $150 I said okay no problem and I want to leave you a nice big tip so I gave her my wrong number and I never went back revenge is sweet do not go to the salon mean uncalled for so dirty and there they don't greet you at the door they don't greet you at all they just say pick a nail polish shelf never ever ever ever ever again thank you for reading this Read Less

WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE!!!!!!! Got in the chair to get a pedicure and the women doing my pedicure is silent the whole time. She doesn't even speak to have me switch feet just pushes on them or tap. The pedicure was not done well. Polish on my skin bleeding cuticles and my feet feel rough. Not to mention I had to wipe someone else's nails off the seat.Then we go to shelliac manicure. Again women did not sleek except to ask me if I wanted my eyebrows done. She seemed to not know what she was doing. When she finished polishing it looked like ripples in my polish. I asked her to fix it. She tried putting another clear coat on it but I could still see them. She ended up having to remove all the polish and start over again. In the process she filed my nails down to nothing and had to have someone else come finish for her. Instead of offering me some of my money back they offered me a 5$ off next time. I've been searching for a good nail place and this wasn't it. A full set of shellac only costs $30 but the quality of the service wasn't there. The guy clipped a lot of skin off my cuticles and made one of them bleed. Then, the top coat was slathered on and coated my fingers around the nail so it wasn't separate, it was just gross. On top of that, some of the nails had bumps, air bubbles, bits of fuzz stuck to them and the edges of the shellac weren't even. The nail was poorly filed, and every time I put my hand into the UV machine it burned my skin so bad. I'm definitely not coming back here. Read Less

If you're considering going here- stop yourself immediately and drive away.A friend and I were visiting this salon on multiple occasions. Service certainly wasn't great, but it's in the giant parking lot close to lots of shopping and restaurants. Well, my friend very honestly lost the majority of her big toe. Seriously. Turned brittle and fell right off. Looks like an ogre. If you survive the disease infested wonderland you can expect lots of rude, pushy employees who rush through your visit. The last time I was in there they insisted on using their little speedy sander (even though I only use polish, not acrylics AND asked them not to). THEN, after sanding most of my already thin white-girl nails off they began to paint right over the dust. No need to wash, rinse or even brush off all the stuff that was unjustly removed. Just paint over it and accept payment. Anyway. Please visit Jolie Touch across Rochester by 7-11. It's the most perfect and beautiful salon I've ever seen. Real game changer. I hesitate even giving this place a review because I am forced to give it 1 star, I would prefer to give it no stars!  My mom took me here for my birthday and the entire experience was completely ruined.  When we arrived we signed in, like they asked us to, and I wrote down mani/pedi, when it was our turn, the man who worked there asked us a question, I thought he asked If we were next and I replied yes, he brought us back and started on me first, he grinded down my nails and then pulled out acrylic nails, I said "no, I do not want acrylics," he got very angry and said "why did you tell me that is what you want?"  I told him I didn't say that and he started yelling "yes, I asked you acrylics and you said yes!"  I explained to him that I thought he was asking me if I was next and I was sorry I misunderstood him.  He was furisous and told me he didn't do manicures and it was my fault because I said yes when I was asked if I wanted acrylics.  I again apologized that I misunderstood him.  He then turned to another worker and was clearly talking about me in his native language, he proceeded to do this for the next five minutes, I finally asked, "why did you make me sign in if you don't even look at the sheet before waiting on someone?"  This did me no good, I told him to please just finish my nails and we would leave (he was half way in to it, otherwise I would have left right away).  Then another customer asked where their restroom was and he said, "it is out of order, you can go to TJ Maxx."  Yes, I am sure she wants to walk to TJ Maxx with wet toes.......NEVER AGIAN.  I work in customer service and he was by far the rudest person I have ever dealt with! I've been going to Grace Nail Salon and Spa for several months.  Leon usually does my nails and I have always left very happy.  I request a full set of acrylic pink and white french nails.  And, that is exactly what I get.  I am very particular about the shape of my nails and typically when I leave a salon I end up going home and filing the shape myself.  I never have to file my nails after Leon.  Another important point, these nails are STRONG. I am very hard on them. From housework to yard work to constant typing at work my nails take a beating and I have never had a nail chip or break.  I typically go at least 3 weeks in between fills.  I have gone much longer and when I arrive they look like hell.  Leon always restores them to the pretty traditional pink and whites without even replacing the tips!  Prices are reasonable.  The salon is very clean.  Its busy and sometimes you have to wait.  But, in my experience its always been well worth the wait. Went in and sat in the waiting for only 15 min. Not bad. But then they had my sister and I sit in the pedicure chair with ice cold water for almost a half hour with nobody checking on us. Then, they finally came over to help us and after a half assed attempt on giving us the "spa treatment"... Painted the wrong color on my nails and gave me problems to fix it. On top of that, they did the wrong thing on the girl next to me and is now telling her that her wants and needs are incorrect. I'm not a huge fan and I've been here twice for nails and toenails. First, Leon is too rough and burns your skin during fills and is a bit too flirty for my liking. He doesn't fill close enough to the cuticle and you leave looking like nothing was done. Second, Vanessa's designs she does freehand are NEVER what you ask for even when you bring a picture of a simple design. Also, they charge you for gel when you think you're getting gel nails and then dupe you and give you acrylics! I'm tired of paying $100 a pop for crap and painful fingers. How hard is chevron???? I have never been so upset about my nails. I went in with a beautiful full set of acrylics with tips, needing a fill. first, he used the drill to take off my old nail polish, and did it so much that i was bleeding through my nail!! Then, i told him I only wanted a little bit off the ends, to make them a little shorter, and he cut off my whole nail and tip. my acrylics are now shorter than my real nail. as if this wasnt enough,  he put FOUR COATS of nails polish on! one hour later, it already started to chip and peel off. needless to say, I am never going back. worst experience in a nail salon, i have had nail students do a better job than this place. I am an LA native stuck in Michigan this summer and couldn't find a good nail salon to save my life! 3 months ago I was lucky enough to find the salon in Michigan that's as good (maybe even better) than my LA spot! They do manicures, pedicures, Japanese nail art, 3-D nail art, fill, acrylic, shellac, facials, lash extensions, eyelash strips, you name it! Vanessa is the owner and she is the best. Leon, her husband is great too! It's clean, legit, and they have great massage chairs too. Free water, public restrooms, spa pedicures, deals and specials on low cost services. UV nails, acrylic art, OPI colors...you name it! It's crazy but I'll miss this place SO MUCH when I go home! Best of the best! 5/5 Read Less
