Spectacular door to door customer service! From my greeting with the offer if a beverage, to my departure with a friendly, "Have a great weekend!", the whole thing was awesome. The atmosphere is chic and relaxing. Jen did wonders! The inclusion of the hot towel wrap with my conditioner, plus the wonderful hand massage, made my afternoon of beauty complete. She took an terrible color mistake and made it into something I really love. my hair is very difficult to color correctly and she did it better than I could imagine. This is the first time I've ever written a review for anything but I feel like it's much deserved. I went and saw Amanda for the first time last night and had an absolutely wonderful experience. She was upfront about pricing and the amount of time it would take to color my very long hair. Amanda was also super friendly, patient and it is clear that she genuinely enjoys making others feel and look their best. Amazing service here. My nails have never looked better. They really take their time and don't rush at all. Eyebrow wax from here is also amazing. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I went to this place of business to get a pedicure. She manicured the nails, applied hot stones and lubricates on my feet. I suddenly noticed she was Applying the polish without having scraped the dead skin from my feet. When I inquired, she said this was against regulations. I got the world's worst pedicure here in the winter, shortly after they opened. I had stripes of callous and raw skin on the bottoms of my feet. The young man performing the service would not look at my feet. He was transfixed by the windows and every other location in the joint. It's no wonder the pedi was terrible. I went back today for a manicure. $9.00 seemed like a reasonable price. I decided not to have the same technician, just in case. He wasn't there. Instead I got a woman who also did a bad job.Admittedly my cuticles were dry, but she cut me with the nippers and didn't tell me I was bleeding. Instead she kept wiping the blood off with a hand towel. Also the ends of all of my nails are still rough and covered with stray hairs/lint. I asked for a French manicure (flesh tone polish with white tips). I know it costs a few dollars extra, supposedly for the extra effort involved. The shade of tinted polish she chose was waaay off from natural on me. Maybe it matches some people, but I don't know who. Now my  nails are light red and I was charged almost double, $17.00. Also, there are white smears on 3 nails where she botched the tips.I was really rooting for small business and hoped it was just one employee that didn't enjoy his job, but 2 out of 2 bad experiences is enough for me. I wandered in here because the wait time at my usual salon was too long and I needed my nails done for that evening - big mistake. Although I think this salon has been opened less than a year, all the equipment, from the mani tables to the pedi chairs look old. Nail color selection is very limited. As others have mentioned,  I seriously question if either of the two techs working the day I was there have a license (the owner walked in when I was leaving). I had a basic mani/pedi and both were substandard to put it mildly. My heels were rougher when I walked out than when I walked in. My 3 year old could have exerted more pressure with better results. The files looked so old and crusty that I was seriously questioning how sterile any of their equipment is. No cotton for nail polish remover - they were using tissue instead. My cuticle was clipped causing it to bleed. Lesson learned, even in an emergency I wouldn't ever return to this salon. My guess is that the one 5 star rating somehow slipped thru yelp's  system, it had to have been written by the owner/friend. While the prices are standard for the area,I say it's pricey because you certainly don't get what you pay for. Read Less

This is the absolute worst nail salon I have ever been to in my life. I had a male nail tech and seriously find it hard to believe he is licensed. I am not the pickiest person when it comes to getting my nails done and I actually had to take the file from him to try to fix the shape of my nails. I got a new set on Wednesday and they started popping off on Friday. I also got a pedicure and three days later half of my toes have no polish. Only go here if you like wasting money. Speaking of money the guy spoke zero English and couldn't figure out how to run my card and kept coming back telling me "no money" in front of other customers. Terrible experience all around. I paid $70 to get a mani/pedi and my nails look like a 5 year old painted them. On top of that, the water for my pedicure was cold, nobody spoke ANY english at all, and he wasn't even going to scrub the dry skin off of my feet until I begged for it and got a translator. The "hot" towels that I paid $10 extra for (which should really just come with the pedicure) were also cold. Like, really cold and lasted about 10 seconds on my legs.. they were in such a hurry and there was no one even waiting. It was not close to closing time. They left dirt under my fingernails and old bits of black nail polish on my nails under my new creme color, didn't clip my toe nails, and when I examined my nails the guy grabbed my hand and started putting cuticle oil on top to distract me. I wish I had saved my time and just burned my money instead. Other customers were having visible distirbances as well. This place will go out of business as fast as it appeared. Read Less

This was a horrible experience. First, I wanted over 20 minutes, then I was finally seated. I indicated that I had a gel nail top coat on, and that it is easiest to file off. The tech then continued on to grind off literally my entire nail, and was constantly nicking my skin, which really hurt! She didn't even take off al of the color, just went ahead and put the acrylic fill in right over the old color. She then hurried through the rest of my nails, and as you can see the end product was horrific! When I asked her to fix it, I was told to come back Monday. I asked another tech to fix it, and was told either I pay for it or come back Monday. I'm a working parent, so I rely don't have time to return and have something corrected that shouldn't of ever happened!Overall, they got one star, which is being generous, because the quality is just horrendous. Sarah just cut my two daughters hair and I am so happy! I told her the style and she created it....happy mom and even happier daughters! Bonus-enough for locks of love! Joann was wonderful with my squirmy curious son and cut it exactly like I asked-finally a salon that listens to what I ask and then uses their skills to create! Pleasant front desk, super kind.
