I went there the 1st time, and the lady was rushing and messed up my polish, (which isn't easy to do with shillac polish) it was super lumpy. I give it a 2nd try because they have the best glitter polish and they used a almost empty polish which left streaks, I went there a 3rd time because it was the only nail shop Open, and because the man was rushing he messed my acrylic up this time, went back to get it fixed and they act like they didn't see the problem and left my polish super lumpy, They need glasses. AWFUL!I got a manicure, if that's what you want to call it, from an older women in her 70s who had very little experience if any in giving manicures. She charge me $30 while she charged everybody else $25. I know this because everybody was asking how much money they Medicare's were.The "manicurist" did not shape my nails or even cut them to the other lengths of the other nails giving a conformed look but instead, all uneven. She didn't ask me the style or the shape of what I wanted. She cut Way too close to the inner part of my cuticles to the point of soreness and inflammation. She was very rough and I almost told her to stop but me being nice person, just let her finish. The tools she used were dirty and not cleaned after she finished the gal sitting next to me. When she finished the girl next to me she came right over to meet with the same tools and use them on me.  That's nasty. When I mentioned it to her, she said she did not understand me and proceeded to work on my nails.  My cousin had the gel tips put on by a guy and he had to do each nail twice. He seemed very inexperienced to the point to where my cousin had to coach him on how to do it correctly.  Unfortunately, he put one of the tips on crooked and refused to fix it. When she came home, she noticed that one of the tips on the other nails was loose. The next day she went to her regular manicurist who was available to see her and he fixed it. The before and after pictures are amazing what a good and poor manicurist can do for your nails.  Bottom line is, these people only are in business to make money and have no desire whatsoever to make the client happy and to actually perform a good manicure and gel tips.  I'm not going to name names because I don't want to get sued but if I can warn people before you go in there that this is not going to be a good experience if you are used to having good or superior nail jobs this is not the place for you. A lot of people hate this salon, but I stopped in last week because I didn't want to go to my usual place in the mall during the Christmas season. My expectations were very low, but they did a satisfactory job on my nails. Just okay. Went here instead of where I normally go because I needed a fill on short notice. They got me seated immediately and completed the nails quickly and they look fine. They didn't ask questions and were quick. Was charged an extra $3 to trim nails, which everyone else included in the price of a fill, ya know because your nails GREW. Read Less

My normal nail place had a 3 hour wait so I went here instead. The pedicure I received was barely 20 minutes and the guy didn't even file my nails and cut them with cuticle trimmers instead of nail clippers. The worst part was that this place is absolutely filthy. They seemed to follow the rules regarding cleaning tools but everything was dusty, the nail buckets (carriers they put their stuff in) were super dirty, and their was just junk everywhere. The lady who was painting my nails was super distracted talking to other people and on the phone and was barely paying attention to what she was doing. But the second one, I could not get the nail polish off my toe after a month and when I finally got it off, I had developed a fungus under the remaining nail polish. NO, NO, NO! DO NOT GO THERE!!! I had not been there in years and had pretty good service way back when and stopped to get my daughter's brows done. I asked Tracy not to arch them, just clean them up. My daughter has very thick brows and she waxed them almost off into Ronald Mcdonald arches. After the first wax strip I told her she did too much and told her to make the other even and then we were leaving. She over waxed the other one and then continued to wax each brow. I had to firmly demand that she stop because she kept insisting she needed to even them out and she knows what I mean. She waxed ALL the skin from underneath my daughters brows, they were red and swollen. My daughter was crying and cried even harder when she saw her brows were gone. I did not pay and left with Tracy yelling some nonsense. It took all I had to leave without losing my composure. The place is dirty looking, like the floor and it's dusty. In desperation, I stopped here for a mani-pedi en route to Chicago for several meetings the next day. Big mistake. I should have taken my chances with my own mediocre skills in the hotel.My poor toes endured rough filing with a course file meant for use on acrylic nails, and ineffective callous removal. The middle-aged woman providing the "service" took exception to my wanting my heels to be smooth. I have spots of colored polish on the skin surrounding my toenails.My manicure was even more disappointing. The woman proceeded to use nail polish thinner on my 2 week old, $18-a-bottle, special order polish WITHOUT A WORD TO ME, ignored numerous hangnails, but did manage to ruin the shape of my nails by clipping the sides with cuticle nippers.So this morning, I'm heading off to important meetings in the city with nails that are all the same color and look as if I had them done by a preschooler with kit, not an alleged "professional." I suppose I should have read the reviews before going into this place. It was very unsanitary, I asked for gel and got acrylic, got charged for gel. Seemed like it was very rushed. The woman didn't talk to me at all, and was playing candy crush while doing my nails. However I gave two stars because I think my nails turned out nice. I don't plan on ever going back. Read Less

I was going to let the uncleanliness go, until I looked at the manicure afterwards. I went to this salon based on a recommendation a few years ago. The salon must have changed since then. It was so dirty and disgusting. The employees were watching comedy's on their laptops and laughing while obvious cleaning could be done. My nails look horrible and are already lifting. I was cut multiple times and immediately rushed to clean it with ointment because I was worried about infection. I wouldn't never go back. Read Less

I have been coming here since I was 13 I have never had a complaint about my nails. I always get a french tip mani and it always looks great no matter who does them! This is the third nail salon I've tried in the last 6 weeks. The salon is fairly clean and somewhat organized.  I actually seen them clean before I sat down and between customers. Which is more compared to the other two places I've been. They do airbrush which I've been searching all over for. I will go back again. I have nothing to complain about. Read Less

If zero stars was an option, that would be my rating. My sister and I went to LA Nails on a holiday weekend b/c no one else was open the day before my wedding.We literally saw another customer put her foot through the floor when she steppedInto the pedicure chair. There must have been water damage on the floor boards.The staff went on as if nothing had happened! While we were there a staff member (?) was making some carpentry repairs and gashed his arm and began to bleed. He left abruptly to get medical attention. Had we not been in the middleOf our pedicures, we would've walked out.My mani/pedi looked nice enough. The cost was reasonable, but now two days later both of my heels are dry and cracked.I wonder if this has to do with any of their techniques. Absolutely horrific. Unsanitary and unprofessional. My $35 gel nails look like a home kit. Both my friend and I tried to have them fix our nails before we left but they basically told us the faults were in our natural nails. Besides the tips being too large for my fingers, several are glued on improperly. Also, the gel is bubbled and not even close to the cuticle on several nails. The technicians all knew we weren't happy but only made measly attempts to fix our nails after we asked more than once. Do not ever go to LA Nails. Read Less

Shellac mani lasted less then 5 days and the nail tech filled my nails way to short.  The salon is very dirty and the staff is less then friendly, I recommend Hot Nails across the street near target.  Ask for Calvin:) Read Less

Decent enough place, barely anyone speaks English. No conversation during your service, no greeting other than hello and you can sit here, oh and of course thank you at the end. "Star" of the place is Tracy who seems to enjoy doing the nails of her clients she's known forever, and doesn't really engage anyone else. It has more of a high school clique feel. Results are good. No cuts or burns. Efficient, fill is done in half an hour. Usually very busy so call ahead. Read Less
