I will not be returning and I hate to give even 1 star to this salon. When I called to make an appointment I was told a partial highlight was going to be around $80. I showed my stylist (who was the manager) a picture of what I wanted and when I left it was nothing close to what I wanted or what the picture looked like and my hair has no issues grabbing good color. As I proceed to check out with my hair looking nothing like what I want I owed $120!!!?? I waited a couple of days to see if I could adjust to the color but didn't. I was so upset I paid more than what I was told for something I didn't want. So I called back for a touch up. The same stylist (the manager) put a 15 min toner in my hair, quick shampoo, 15 second blow dry in the front then sent me on my way with the rest of my hair soaking wet! I now am going elsewhere and am paying to have my hair done AGAIN! I called before writing this review and was offered nothing. So needless to say I would NEVER refer a family or friend here! Nice Facility. However I am surprised that the hairstylist accepted a $25 gratuity for a $32 haircut from my wife knowing that she has dimensia. A professional person would have acknowledged that this amount of gratuity was excessive and not appropriate. Read Less

I managed to find an immediate opening here after the massage therapist I had scheduled with was forced to cancel due to extraneous circumstances. I was only able to get a 45 min session the same day, but afterward I stood up a little wobbly. Almost all of the tension I had been experiencing is gone. There were points during the session that I could feel circulation to my legs improving that I hadn't known was blocked. Early on I mentioned that I felt my sinuses unblock after a recent head cold and she wrapped a hot towel around the top half of my head which seemed to help even more & was so incredibly soothing. I've never had a professional massage before Jamie and the experience was so relaxing and I literally felt like a new person. Eve salon is very cute and welcoming. Came here for my bridal hair on the suggestion of my sister-in-law who grew up in Kalamazoo. I honestly did not know exactly what I wanted, and was so relieved when I described my dress and general idea to the stylist and she came up with something beautiful. I've never had a better up-do, and it was very reasonably priced. They seem to get quite busy, so be sure to book well in advance. I will say that they did make me wait about 15 minutes despite having an appointment for my trial. Would recommend nonetheless! Read Less

If I could give 10 stars, I totally would! This place literally saved the day. I just moved to Kalamazoo for work and have no idea where anything is, so I thought I'd hop in the car a find a new spot to get my nails done before my work trip next week. Well, I must have called 5 different salons, all booked, and drove around for at least an hour until I finally got in touch with a place that said they could take me. Well, they failed to mention that their heater was broken (um it's 5° outside and it's Michigan so....), and they didn't even have pedicure chairs where I could stick my cold little toes! It was super weird and I felt bad, but I had to bail. Thank god, I pulled into Eve's parking lot and they were able to squeeze me in with Kelsey. She is an absolute gem and did an amazing job. I got a gel manicure and pedicure, and then another staff member gave me a tour around the salon and showed me the new spa pedicure room. I will definitely be back to take advantage of the new space!!! Can't wait to bring a friend and a bottle of wine. Thank you so much Eve Salon Spa, you really did save the day!!! Read Less

Everyone was so gracious and helpful when I was scheduling my pedicure. Great costumer service and my pedicure looks fantastic (and felt pretty relaxing too)! I got the express pedicure which was 30 min. and more of a nail maintenance pedicure so, I can only imagine how nice the spa one would be! (maybe next time) Another thing I really like is that they use AVEDA, it's one of my favorite products. I would highly suggest coming here to anyone looking for some relaxation and care. Read Less

I had my wedding hair done here, along with 4 other people in my wedding party. It was awesome - all 5 of us were able to get our hair done simultaneously because they have enough stylists to do it that way! Very relaxed and fun environment, loved the experience and Emily did great on my hair! Would definitely recommend. My first experience at this salon - took my Mom for her birthday and we both had massages. The best massage both of us have ever had.  I had Jamie and am saving up money to set another appointment next month.  Have described the whole setting as Feminine Power, a very female enriching environment.  So very happy that I took the chance to go some place new, this is a gem and I look forward to trying a hair stylist and getting my nails done next time. Love going here. Gwt my hair done here all the time. The only thing I dont like is the chairs. They need more compfy ones to relax in. That would make this salon so much better if they get better chairs to sit on. The ones they do have I feel very uncomfortable.  But I love my stylist there so I will keep going Read Less

There's absolutely nothing wrong with a man reviewing a salon even if he only went in for a quick trim, right?  Well because they offer so many other services, I'll make this quick for the other guys that might prefer the salon over the barber and are looking to make a switch.Haircut itself was fine, hair dresser was nice, but not very talkative.  I was asked if I wanted the top a little shorter and played it off like I wasn't sure, well maybe, did the 'what do you think' kind of thing, cause of course I didn't want to offend her, but she just said, I think it looks good, washed me up, and sent me on my way $24 later plus $5 tip ($29 total).  Figured she would have got the hint so I sort of left thinking that I need to really check out a couple other places if you know what I mean, especially with a Jude's practically across the street.  Who knows, I might return. I was here for nail service, so I can not speak about any other service Eve may offer.  There are way better and more friendly places in town to have a pedicure.  The staff seems a bit aloof and almost snotty.  The pedicure was okay....just okay because pedicures are always good :-)  I would not come here again.  It just wasn't worth the money.  It doesn't seem like the staff would really care that they lost a customer either! I loved Eve salonspa. The atmosphere was so inviting and the staff made me feel so welcomed. I got a pedicure done and it looked awesome. The technician gave a great massage and my toes looked flawless. I also got my hair done and I loved the way the stylist kept me informed and made me feel very special. It is hard to find a great salon where the staff isnt snotty or just wanting you to get in and out. I love me experience and would recommend this place to anyone! Read Less
