I've been enjoy my pregnancy massages I've been getting here by Allison. She is so amazing and attentive and I always feel so welcome. I work for another salon where I could get my massages for free but I love coming here and feeling special and always keeping my day and time that works for me. Such an unprofessional salon. Came here for a bachelorette party and received a manicure and pedicure and was forced to pay for services that I did not receive, resulting in a charge of over $160. Originally was told that I would not have to pay for a massage that I opted to not receive and payed for my services, however as I was leaving they told me I would have to pay at the last minute. It would not have been as shocking had they told me before while I was waiting for over 2 hours. The manager was very uncooperative, and did not assist me nor others in the bridal party at all. In addition to the monetary discrepancy, the area for the pedicures consisted of hard bench style seating and was not up to par with other salons in portage or Kalamazoo. I've been getting massages regularly (about monthly) for over three years, to try to sooth the often intense knots and contractions in my leg muscles that develop seemingly on their own (fibromyalgia is what my doctor is treating me for, but I've been trying very hard to manage it with as little medication as possible). Regular walking, light yoga, stretching, and massage had been working well, but with time the pain and tightness just seemed to be getting worse. Today it was... so bad that I had to leave work early and I made an emergency massage appointment with the first place who could get me in. 2 out of the 3 times I went it was wonderful. The last time I went I kept asking for the massage therapist for less pressure and she let off of a few but then went right back to a lot of pressure. It kind of ruined the massage having to constantly remind her about less pressure and after my massage I noticed bruises all over my back! Read Less

Had an exceptional facial with Diane!   Such a lovely lady!  My skin feels amazing and I can't wait to go back next month!  Love this spa!  I also had a 30 minutes neck, back & shoulder massage with Jessica.  She did a fantastic job.  Again, I've already scheduled my next appointment with her....and next time doing 60 minutes....because 30 minutes was way to short!  Highly recommend! My son had acne not bad but around his mouth area and I had taken him to a dermatologist and they wanted to put him on this really powerful medicine that required blood draws and monthly visits, etc... Anyway I got a gift card here for my birthday and had a facial and pedicure and it was awesome, as I was looking at their menu of services I noticed one of the facials for people with acne or had had acne and thought I would have my son try it and he had an appointment with Diane and she did these mini facials with the special light and it has been awesome!!! His skin looks great and it's only a half an hour and it's so much better for him than the medicine they wanted to put him on and she does an awesome job. Had a amazing half day there yesterday! Everyone was very polite and professional. Here is my suggestions for an even better expierence: my appt. Began at 9am which is also when they open. Normally you should arrive a minimum of 15 min. early to allot for clothing change etc. When I arrived the doors were LOCKED. Could not go in till a few moments before my schedule time. Also, I will not be doing the pedicures again. The technician was amazing and I'd love to have her do my feet again, However The chairs that you sit in are awful! Not comfortable at all. They are not the "Thrown Chairs" many are used to in nail salons. Otherwise, amazing salon and spa. My massage treatments and wrap was exceptional and will return! Read Less

I had a massage that was both relaxing and therapeutic!!! It was the Neck, Back and Shoulders massage by Jessica. The spa was clean, serene and aromatic😍. Trudy is awesome. I have crazy curly hair and she does the best blow outs and cuts for me and gets me in and out quickly. Everyone is always welcoming and so helpful with scheduling and questions. Love love love this spa. I started going back regularly when I got pregnant and painting my own toes became too much! Then decided that being pregnant warranted regular massages as well :) The massages and pedicures are AMAZING, but beyond that, the service is just great all around. I had a pedi at Centre Spa today and was disappointed. They have a few pedi stations some of which have massage chairs and some of which are hard benches with pillows. Even though I was the only person having a pedi this morning, they put me on one of the hard benches instead of a massage chair. It was really uncomfortable. I mean REALLY. When spending $65+ on a pedi, I don't expect to be sitting on an uncomfortable bench with the hard edge of the foot bath hurting my feet. The environment wasn't very relaxing because some of the pedi stations are in the hallway where everyone's walking by and talking. The foot bath smelled like cleaner (which I'm glad it's clean but most spas add a nice aromatherapy-type soak that smells nice). There were no magazines around to read. For the same price, I prefer HQ because they have a true spa area that's quiet and all the pedis have comfy massage chairs. Read Less

I was a devoted MSpa person for decades, but never felt like as a devoted MSpa person for decades, but never felt like the staff was particularly friendly or welcoming. I overlooked it, because I thought the services were the best in town. I was one of many who stopped going after the social media firestorm hit, but haven't been able to find a place whose massages and pedicures were as good. I was searching for yet another place to try, and came upon Centre Spa, and learned it was bought, has new ownership and (some) new staff, and they have a focus on customer service. I was so excited to try it! Massage and prdicure, here I come!I got a 90 minute prenatal massage from Rachel, and it was THE BEST. Feeling crappy for the entire first trimester takes a toll, and the massage was superb. The massage table was an bonus - in addition to the little space for your belly, there are also little spaces for your chest! It was absolutely awesome, and before I even left, I scheduled another one.I also got a deluxe pedicure from Teresa, which was also fantastic. She used Morrocanoil products, and the Polish job is what I've been missing for the last 2 years. I am so happy with my toes!! I also scheduled another pedicure before leaving :)So glad to have found Centre Spa, and will obviously definitely be back! Read Less
