This place is terrible and they are scammers. When I first started getting services, I was getting the shellac done. It never lasted more than 3 to 5 days, (I'm an esthetician) so I just figured the shellac just wasn't strong enough. So i decided to do some research on what would be a better option for me. So after that I decided to try a gel overlay. So I asked for the gel service and they did everything that nail techs are not supposed to do. They didn't even use gel, it was acrylic labeled as "gel". And the tech e-filed my nails to the point that they were burning! And he extended them with a form which I did not ask for!! The nails were too long and super thick. I was suspicious that they were using an illegal product called mma. My nails felt sore and pinched for the whole day. So I decided to find a new place. So the new lady I went to has been in the business for 25 years! And she informed me that they definitely used mma on my nails. Which is very bad for your nails and health as well but much cheaper for them to buy. This place doesn't care about your health or your nails, just volume. Dont waste your money here, and dont take chances with your health or nails!!!

Walked in and looked at prices because I have never been here before and the gentleman standing in the doorway turns around and says you want to take a picture you can take a picture so rudely I said no I just want to look I have never been here before and he proceeds to say just take a picture why don’t you just take a picture so I walked out to find somewhere who isn’t so rude

I had a great first experience at the salon. I asked for short, coffin style ombré nails. Brian was able to deliver what I wanted and for a great price. I will be back

Brian did an awesome job on my ombré nails. The salon is reasonably priced. They also have a 10% off special Monday-Wednesday.

I am sorry but after patronizing this particular salon a 2nd time to get a pedicure, I will NOT be going back!! Last Thurs evening, immediately after I finished having dinner over near Great Lks Cross...
I am sorry but after patronizing this particular salon a 2nd time to get a pedicure, I will NOT be going back!! Last Thurs evening, immediately after I finished having dinner over near Great Lks Crossing, I called Amity to see about coming in for a pedicure & a new coat of shellac on my fingernails. The owner or manager, Jan?, answered and told me sure, come on in as they're actually open until 7:30 and not 7 p.m. as it shows on Google Maps.
As soon as I arrived and picked my color, was directed to one of their deluxe manicure chairs with an excellent massage & foot bath. An older, Asian gentleman (Tony?) began to work on my feet, despite the water getting a little too hot. He then proceeded to go about the usual pedicure process except that when he buffed the heels, sides and bottoms of my toes with the pumice sponge, I writhed in PAIN and said something but sadly, it seemed that "Tony" doesn't understand much English?! Bottom line, it was freezing cold outside so naturally I put my thick socks & boots on right after they polished my toe nails.. But, once I got home I took a few mins to look @ my feet w/o socks, sure enough there were small, round CUTS on my left heel, ankle and 1 of my toes which has required using NewSkin & bandaids, as I've only heard stories about how people wind up with INFECTED FEET from going to these bad, unsanitary or poorly trained Nail Techs. Terrible results!

I went to Amity Nails to get a pedicure, as I have done every three weeks for the last two years. However, what I walked away with was a Staff Infection that is antibiotic resistant. Not only will I never go there again, I recommend you re-consider going there as well.

This place is terrible and they are scammers. When I first started getting services, I was getting the shellac done. It never lasted more than 3 to 5 days, (I'm an esthetician) so I just figured the shellac just wasn't strong enough. So i decided to do some research on what would be a better option for me. I went to Amity Nails to get a pedicure, as I have done every three weeks for the last two years. However, what I walked away with was a Staff Infection that is antibiotic resistant. Not only will I never go there again, I recommend you re-consider going there as well.
