I thought it looked good when I left the salon but day two was even better! Voss the Curl Boss knows her stuff! This was the first time I’ve left a salon and felt completely confident with my curly cut! Casey took her time not only doing the service, but also showed me how to do it myself AND she wrote down the steps so I wouldn’t forget once I got home! Microfiber towels, silk sleeping bonnets & giant diffuser are my new friends! Thanks! I like how my hair makes my mouth curl up on the corners too!

I am not one who gets my hair done often. Before today it had been 4 years since I had it done. I had got a gift card for Christmas and called to make an appointment. I was told the only people available for this week, between Christmas and New Year's, was an apprentice. I was nervous but was assured that my hair would turn out great. My appointment was with Kelsey. I wanted a big change. About 7 inches was taken off to create a slightly angled bob. I also wanted big change f...or my color. I ended up getting it lightened a few shades and then the bottom half with the really fun colors, blue, purple and pink!! It turned out AMAZING!! I absoultly love the cut and the color! She did a wonderful job and I will definitely be going back to see her again! Don't let the fact that she is an apprentice stop you from seeing her. This salon is so beautiful, the staff is very warm and welcoming. Stylist Rae is a delight to be around, her skills are impeccable! I highly recommend Smith and Voss Salon.

My friend's daughter and daughter-in-law works here, and after several traumatic hair experiences, I thought why not. I have extremely thick curly 2c/3a hair and no one ever listens to how I want my hair styled. I went to Shannon, because she always has impeccable style and flair, and she worked her magic on my hair. I fell in love with my hair once again. The salon is clean, I would also recommend Jessica, as I was watching her make a woman's hair look incredible. The salon is clean, friendly atmosphere, and all the beauticians were positive and friendly. Yes, Smith and Voss is the place to have your mane restored back to its former glory.

My daughter scheduled her appointment with an "experienced" stylist with color, Due to the color she wanted. And asked for her by name. Knowing work she had done on other women. When she got to her appointment the stylist had bumped her to another stylist who had no business doing this type of color. Apparently you can pick and choose who sits in your chair and my daughter wasn't important enough. I would love to share pictures so you can see how expensive this decision was ...to my daughter. The fact not one senior stylists stepped in to help or correct the job is unacceptable. Got my nails done here for the first time before getting some engagement pictures taken and was blown away! Its been two weeks and the shellac treatment is just now starting to chip away, which is ok actually because my nails have grown too long anyway and needed trimming. And beyond the chipping away shellac, my nails are usually damaged and scratched beneath the coating, not this time! My nails look healthy and no worse for wear. The pedicure I received was incredible and again- its been two weeks and my feet are still soft! I had been to a few other salons in Owosso with very little success and was so glad to have followed a suggestion to try this place out. Customer for life! Though the price for service is on the higher end, the service you receive is worth every penny and lasts!
I would recommend this place to anyone, and I will be back for nails again before my wedding next year!

I immediately feel at ease when I walk into Smith & Voss and enjoy the experience each time. I have tried a lot of the services and always leave a happy customer. Leah has been cutting my hair for a few years and she is just great! My guy knows I like it so much that he will get me a gift card at Christmas to cover my salon visits for an entire year. He's a keeper :)

I have been taking my son and going myself to see Adam at his new place next door for a few months now. He is very professional and polite. He also is a very talented barber. Our hair is always perfectly trimmed and he keeps my beard immaculately groomed. I don't let just anyone touch my beard. He provides a great, laid back atmosphere for all.

Awesome place you have to go. The stylist's are very talented and they listen to want you want and offer great ideas and suggestions for style, length, texture and so forth without forcing their wants and ideas on to you. The salon is very comfortable and they make you feel at ease the entire time you are there. Not only do you walk away looking beautiful, you are relaxed and ready to take on new challenges! I highly recommend anyone on the team.

I thought it looked good when I left the salon but day two was even better! Voss the Curl Boss knows her stuff! This was the first time I’ve left a salon and felt completely confident with my curly cut! Got my nails done here for the first time before getting some engagement pictures taken and was blown away! Its been two weeks and the shellac treatment is just now starting to chip away, which is ok actually because my nails have grown too long anyway and needed trimming. And beyond the chipping away shellac, my nails are usually damaged and scratched beneath the coating, not this time! My nails look healthy and no worse for wear. The pedicure I received was incredible and again- its been two weeks and my feet are still soft! I had been to a few other salons in Owosso with very little success and was so glad to have followed a suggestion to try this place out. Customer for life! Though the price for service is on the higher end, the service you receive is worth every penny and lasts!
I would recommend this place to anyone, and I will be back for nails again before my wedding next year!
