I have been getting my nails done here for 4 months now. I'm satisfied every time. The prices are a little higher than the surrounding shops, but worth it. There is no pungent smell like most shops. The interior space and decoration gives you a sense of being out on the beach. The service is great, and my shellac always lasts more than 2 weeks. Read Less

I'm from NYC and moved down to south Florida with hope that a nail salon could meet my high expectations. After much disappointment I came across Venetian in Cityplace and now I won't go anywhere else. The environment is super clean and very calming. Everyone is friendly and the services offered are extensive and reasonably priced. Thy (pronounced T) is the best tech I've ever encountered. She takes great care and pride in everything she does. I was formerly using gel and a...crylic on my finger nails and she suggested I try NexGen Dipping as it would be safer and better for my nails. After only a month of using, she removed it to start fresh and my natural nails were super long, super strong and not brittle in any way. I can not recommend Venetian in Cityplace enough. I have been coming here for awhile, but I will no longer be returning! My shellac nails lasted only 5 days on three nails went back to get them redone and color is completely different! They said it's because one is older then the other. I am sorry "5 days older" really. The manager had me wait 20 mins to only give me $5 off a $30 service! I have been going to DX nails now for three years. The first nail tech that I had was Mya and she was awesome. I had her for about a year and then she left. Then I had Michele who was fantastic. After having her for a while she also left. Now I have Joyce she is so sweet and she does a great job and my nails. I love the spa it's very cute they have great Pedicure Chairs and I have always found everyone to be very kind and polite. I would certainly recommend this establishment to anyone of my friends. I came in on a Friday and Jeremy did my pedicure. He gave me the pamphlet for pedicures and I told him no thanks I just want a regular pedicure. He then rudely talked in another language to this girl next to him and proceeded to do my pedicure. He barely cut my cuticles and didn't even smooth out my heels. He did a terrible paint job as well. I was so disappointed but came back a second time in two weeks. This time a lady (didn't get her name) did my pedicure and was very nice. I was quoted a specific price for what I was having done. But when it was time toplay it was $10 more. Their explanation was stupid and going in circles saying the exact thing but since it wasn't my personal money I was spending I didn't get that angry! Terrible customer service. The women who did my pedicure ignored me the entire time while talking to her coworkers in Vietnamese. Got a pedicure here, not only was it the fastest pedicure I've had in my life (10 min tops) but basically all they did is paint my toes. I could have done this at home and saved 27$. I would suggest going elsewhere if looking for actual quality service. Read Less

I don't normally write reviews but I have to on this. I had my nails done in gel this past Friday. It's been 3 days. I was charged $30.. 15 of that was for taking off the gel I had on my nails.. Done 2 weeks ago at a different nail salon. A younger man did my nails and kept saying how much the polish was bubbling. The whole time he was being very over cautious as if not sure of what he was doing. It's been 3 days and on both my thumb and pointer fingers the polish has lifted!! I'm so upset that I spent $30 for the gel polish to last only 3 days when it's supposed to last up to 2 weeks. This is very upsetting. I hope nobody else has the same results as I did. Okay, this really pisses me off! Last week I spent 1 1/2 hours with one of your guys who was suppose to do a fill on my nails and shellac color. For an hour and a half he put a thin layer of fill on my nails and used the electric file/grinder to file them down. He kept grinding them over and over and over again. It was starting to hurt and he nicked me 3 times!! One of my nails chipped and he tried to fix it, which made it worse. After that I had to leave. He charged me $20 f...or this and my nails were ruined. They started chipping right away. Today I make an appointment to get them fixed. They said it would be no charge, but then I get there and they say they have to charge me for the work they do and it'll be $40. The lady I used to see there left and somebody else did my manicure. Sadly it did not feel and look like a mani. My nails are weird looking and my cuticles were not pushed before the shellac polish was applied. I am extremely picky and I tip really well but sadly I will never go back to this place because of this one bad experience. Lastly it would be polite and respectful to not speak in your native tongue around clients because it makes some clients (including myself) uneasy. It was pretty decent for a nail salon. I really liked the interior decoration. I went in for a full set of acrylics. I got my nails done by Vicky L. I had a reference picture, she asked me if they looked okay before she kept going with the rest of my nails. She seemed to care if I liked my nails or not, overall did a pretty good job. She took her time on me. Wouldn't say this is a place to go if you have to be in and out, but its worth it if you have some spare time.But they do charge extra for pointy/shaped acrylics. I had just got my nails done yesterday, and the lady I had (Lisa is her name), she did a good job for my toes, but when she went to do my nails, she did not do a good job. she left spaces and even put one nail one crooked, and even filed them weird too. I took that shellac polish off and painted my own nails. I was not happy with how she painted my nails. also, she didn't even push up my cuticles either. and then today, one of the nails started to chip away on the sides. she kept getting an attitude when I was telling her that my pinky nail looks crooked and when I asked for her to paint up to my skin. I had more nail polish than they did... the nail polishes were old, dried up and the selection was horrible... they had no names drug store and beauty shop low quality brands... only a handful of OPI n Essie and not a variety of color. My nail tech cut me 3 times on my right pointy n middle finger and on my left foot - she rubbed my big toe raw... like who does that... the application was unprofessional... I do my own nails better... sorry but - I am never going back there nor will I refer anyone I know. I'm praying that my cuts heal and that I don't get an infection... No stars from me! Read Less

The first time I went there I got shellac the next day over 5 of my nails were extremely chipped. When I went back go get them fixed there was another lady there with the same problem. I decided to just have acrylics done after they then tried charging me $35 after just paying $45 a few days prior for a crappy shellac job. They then settled with 20$. The shellac chipped after the first day on several nails. It basically all peeled off within 5 days. I feel they do something to cheapen the product but charge full price. And they are slow. 1.5 hours for mani/pedi and I skipped all the massaging for both. I'll never go back. Read Less

I was impressed with the nice interior and friendly employees. In addition they offer a great selection of regular polish colors, gel polish colors, and also CND Vinylux. The manicure/pedicure was very good and so far has held up great. Read Less
