Terrible service!! Got a 20 min pedicure and is supposed to last 30 to 40 mins!! The guy I waited on getting his pedicure got way better and longer service then me!! They rushed on me cuz they were busy!! And I gave her a 5 dollar tip on top of it for nothing!! Don't go here Seriously!! She didn't even get the sides of my toenails!! Terrible job!! If I could give negative stars I would. Ive never had such a problem with a nail place like I have with Lux Nails. If you want to be charged $55 for a full set of nails that the polish cracks & chipps off go for it. I had to go back three times in less than one week for them to "fix" them. They are horribly shaped & thin from being "fixed". The color is slopply & heavy on part of the nail but also barely covering in other spots all on one nail. They continue to crack & chip only hours after being "fixed". I wasnt offered a discount or anything even after I requested a refund. They told me I was the problem. Normally love this place, I think they are good at what they do, just need to make sure you are 100% clear with them as to what you want. Out of all the times I have gone I have only had one off experience and that was with a male. Otherwise they are good and do the job fast and safe. Going in an hour and a half before close is a bad, bad idea. They rush to get you out of there and sit around watching you to be done so they can leave. That's rude and uncomfortable! It's the next day and my French mani is chipping away. Not to mention I was over charged!. I wasn't sure on the pricing until I thought to myself that it sounded a bit high so I looked it up online. Horrible Nails. After trying every salon in Muskegon, Lux nails came highly recommended. I thought my nails looked great while there. Within four days after paying for "special polish" etc. $64 later, my nail polish was peeling off three nails in four days. I went back and instead of taking off the polish and redoing them the guy buffed them with a nail file and painted over them. I now have five nails that I either have or can completely peel all of the "special polish" off from four days after the second polishing. I will never go back. Read Less

Love this place i have been going there faithfully every 2 weeks for 2 years, i wouldnt go anywhere else!! Very friendly they remember your name after a few visit feels like family!! Unsatisfied customer.....seriously overcharged for services that I didn't even order. They actually charged an additional $5 to remove polish from my feet when I ordered a pedicure.They cut me and my grand daughter. This was the worst manicure/pedicure I have ever had. There was a group of 6 of us and we even called about 2 weeks before to tell them we were coming. They told us we were all going to be able to get pedicures together which isn't true. They rushed through both our manis and pedis. Also because we were there past closing time (which they knew we were going to be) they shut the lights off as one of the girls from our group was drying her nails and literally pushed us out the door. I have been a customer here for a while, when they owned Paris Nails and it is great that they know my name and the prices are not bad.  But I feel that they get you in and out as quickly as they can without paying attention to the details of the current customer at hand.  My latest experience was disappointing.  I got a natural manicure and three days later the polish had already chipped.  There are ripples in the nail polish from not properly drying and the color they removed can still be seen around my cuticles.  Disappointing and will be taking my business elsewhere. Loved this place until the female manager/owner did my nails. She is absolutely RUDE! Worst service I have ever received!!! Throwing things around, arguing with me over what I wanted on my nails, talked on her phone by bluetooth headset most of the time.. I could go on. I went Lux nail spa today because the nail place I used to go to had closed. They got me in fairly quick without an appointment.  They weren't terribly friendly, mostly talking to each other in their language and working on their customers while barely speaking to them. One worker actually took a call from her child, on speaker phone, while working on a customer's nails. The nail equipment didn't seem to be sterilized between customers, like my old place did. The person who worked on my nails did not massage my hands, or even make sure my hands were moisturized. My nails turned out okay. Not as neat as they usually are, but okay. When done, the workers just send you to the sink to wash your hands. They do not tell you how to use the strange faucet,  where the towels are (in a drawer), or to put the dirty towels under the Sink. I will look elsewhere next time. Read Less

I paid good money for a deluxe pedicure but am truly unsatisfied. As the technician began, I quickly had to ask her to be gentle for the first time. As the pedicure progressed  I had to ask a second time to be more gentle          I then began to have a simple manicure and it was as if she forgot who I was because she just lost complete track of my request for softer care of me as a human. She had an apologetic nature to her reminding, but really? I asked for less rough treatment not but 15 minutes ago and you forgot already? I proceeded to get a nick on one of my fingers for cuticle cutting roughness and she dropped some blue liquid on my finger because she nicked it open. In my mind, that's three strikes! It is now the day after being a customer here and I am having serious issue with my big toe ballooning up to become ingrown and swollen painful, throbbing quick. Literally struggling to walk normally and am peeved. I intend to return to this location to voice this  discontent in person. But this epic shit show had to be cataloged. Read Less

It literally took 2 hours to get a mani pedi, I mean they were busy but the receptionist told me 5 min wait and I waited for 20 mins.  My pedicure and my manicure were not done well they didn't paint the sides of some of my nails and my French tips were sooo uneven.  Also no one wiped out the pedicure station I was using before the next person used it.  The tools they used were not cleaned either the guy was wiping dead skin off of the cuticle cutters before he used them in me!!! LOVE this place! This is the old crew from Paris Nails. I have had pink and white done for years and have been almost everywhere between Muskegon and Grand Rapids and this is the ONLY place that pays attention to detail and listens to their customers.
