I got a full set of acrylic nails done here and It's been less than a week and they broke while I was washing my hair. When they did my nails there were quite a number of bubbles that formed and the fact that they didn't even last me a week discourages me to go back. Read Less

I had shellac done and originally thought they did a fantastic job. But my nails started chipping less than 24 hours after my appointment. I called, they said they would fix it next week. Is that appreciate that they are willing to fix it, but it's disappointing that it happened. Only reason why I'm giving them three stars. Read Less

Asked and paid for a manicure and pedicure. Got a full manicure and 1/2 a pedicure. They basically cut my toenails and repolished them. I wouldn't recommend this place to a friend and I probably wouldn't go back. Overpriced and feeling like I got ripped off. Read Less

This place will waste your time and money. The man that did my nails was too engrossed in the football game going on to notice he had cut my cuticles down to the point of bleeding on just about every single nail. It took two and a half hours for a pedicure and chellac manicure, a pedicure which is now mostly wrecked as he gooped on polish and a manicure that is completely misshaped, even though i specified the shape I wanted. Great place! Have been going here for years.   Never really had a problem getting in. Obviously if you go at prime time like mid-day weekends, it's going to be busy and you should make an appointment if you don't want to wait in line. I don't go to anyone particular, but have never had a problem with poor quality. All of them take their time and do a good job. Pricing is pretty comparable to anywhere else in the area. Probably on the lower end if anything.Their shellac manicures last so long. I've had it last a full month before and still looks great. Read Less

I got a toenail fungus after getting a pedicure at this place.  Do not go there. They must not adequately clean their basins. Nail fungus confirmed by doctor.  I attempted to speak with the people at the store and didn't even get an "I'm sorry". They wanted me to prove that I have toenail fungus by taking off my shoes and socks to show them--which I did. Read Less

I am taking the time to write a review because I went to Royal Nails based on the yelp reviews and I am very unhappy. I have just moved to Michigan and was trying to find a place that does hand designs.First I will say I Made an appointment and when I got there was told someone didn't show so they would get to me in a few minutes. Which maybe 15 minutes I was asked to move to a station and a gentleman started to do my grinding, because I have acrylic nails with top coat of gel. We'll he nicked three of my fingers so when Kim arrived I was happy to be moved to her station to finish. I tried to explain I wanted Valentines design with my gel top coat. Kim just kept saying I know what you want. Her designs were nice, but the quality of the product used was poor, and Kim would not listen to the fact I wanted the gel top coat. NO she insisted and continued to put on the shellac because she said it is easier. MAYBE but 2 hours later I went back and showed her the nails where messed up and obviously not what I wanted. We agreed she would fix them the next day which would be Sunday, but when I arrived she was not there yet.  I waited maybe 20 minutes then I gave the lady at the desk my card with my phone number and told her to have Kim call me.  A week later no call.  I gave a 2 only because the design was nice but for a price of $80 for Mani & Pedi I expect it to look good two ours later.
