Stopped by for a pedicure while traveling through town. Family friendly establishment. The open sign doesn't mean anything. They turn it off during busy times so as to deflect business. Very clean establishment, not as good of a pedicure as I was hoping for. Wow! I was randomly in Niles and had a bit of time and stopped into Tippy Toe's. It's not super fancy, but they have all the necessary components of a nail salon. It's very friendly and relaxed. Anna did a spectacular job on my mani/pedi. I have never had anyone be so careful and precise in their work. She was very focused and a week later, my nails still look amazing. I went to Tippy Toes the day before my wedding for manicure and a pedicure. They were great and I wish I lived close by to go there more often. I also brought with me 7 girls that all needed manicure and pedicure and another 2 that only needed a pedicure, we filled the place for the afternoon and had a great time with Vicky and her staff. They were very accommodating for the girls that didn't get nails done on Friday and came at early (8am or so) on Saturday. Hello everyone and thank you for your loyal support for the last 4 wonderful years! I would like to respond to the person who gave my salon 1 star as a rating and said that the service and my professional actions was "HORRIBLE". First of all no one calls me Victoria, all of my REAL clients know me as Vicky. I had a business deal with this gentleman and he did not produce the ad that he promised me, so I gave him a three month grace period to return my money, I even involved the Niles DDA, and the Chamber of Commerce to help me get my money returned. He also has a record at the BBB for taking money that does not belong to him by promising a service and not producing what was expected of him. This person kept money that did not belong to him. So I sued him in small claims court and won!. I used the terms "conman, and fraud" when I addressed him in court. He is not very original as he has used the same terms referring to me in his ficticious review. Defending my salon and my business manner is not necessary. The sucess on Tippy Toes remains in the hands of YOU!, my real clients, the ones that have continuously donned my doorstep and kept Tippy Toes alive. A friend referred me to this salon and I haven't stepped into another salon since. I love the look of long nails but with my line of work it's hard to grow them out. Normally I get acrylic nails but all the places I've been to in the past have filed my real nail down too much, ruined my nails, made the acrylic too thick, or the acrylic powder was cheap so they lifted in two weeks. This place definitely changed my opinion of acrylic nails. They use quality acrylic powder (the glitter ones as well). They don't ruin my real nails, in fact my real nails are actually thicker then they were before. They also freehand tons of designs so ask to see their samples. They are very skillful. Make an appointment before you go because they can be busy at times. There's also a parking lot across the street in case you can't find street parking. Read Less
