Giving this spa one star, because it smelled great in the reception area, which is as far as we got. I spoke with the owner scheduled an appointment for three massages for myself and two friends in October, 2017. We were all in town celebrating a friend's birthday, and this was to be the final activity of our trip before heading home. When we arrived, they only had scheduled two of the massages and only had two techs there. Our only option was to come back late in the afternoon for one of the massages, and we had to be back in the road at that time. It was very disappointing, and even more disappointing that the staff did nothing to resolve the problem (such as call in another staff person or push later clients back). After researching the few options for massages in/near New Buffalo - my friend and I chose to get hour long massages at Evolve and were SO GLAD we did! I used to go to a similar place when living in LA, simple space but with very talented masseuses and I will be back often as a new, part time resident of NB! The decor is dark and soothing and the space very clean. I'm pretty picky when it comes to massages and Kim truly gave me one of the BEST firm, Swedish massages I've ever had. She was totally open to having me communicate what I needed and from the beginning she said "I don't talk during the massage so just feel free to speak up if you want more less pressure etc." I really appreciated that because often lately I find when I just want to relax during a service, the chatting can detract from the experience.  My friend saw Terry and really enjoyed her massage as well! I absolutely recommend Evolve Spa!! A late entry, but just sending a quick message to say a Huge THANK YOU to Andrew Valaitis for a fantastic clinical massage over the 4th weekend! I had a recurring intercostal issue and which flared up when I was out riding my bike, Andrew knew exactly what to do and really helped me recover quickly. I was back out on my bike a few days later. It really was a gem of a find in New Buffalo, he is SOMA trained and an exceptionally gifted Massage Therapist . I would highly recommend to anyone visiting NB or anyone who lives there and is in need of pain management/sport massage/clinical massage. I will def return next time I am in the area!! Read Less

My husband and I have been traveling over the Eastern US for two weeks. While stopping to do laundry across the street we noticed Evolve. While I was tending the laundry he walked across the street to ask about him getting a massage and me getting a pedicure. The girl was sitting with the appointment book in front of her and told him that he would have to "call to see if he could get an appointment".  Sorry sweetie, our money and tips will be glad to go elsewhere. Alex is amazing!!! She came out to our weekend rental house and provided a 60 minutes Swedish massage for myself and it was outstanding. Then provided my father in law with a 60 minute Swedish massage and he loved it. Then Alex gave my 30 week pregnant wife a 60 minute massage. Back to back to back and all 3 of us were 100% satisfied. Six of us girls ended our weekend here! Great mnassasge and facial for a great rate! I had Alex she was fabulous,great for relaxing my tense, tired, overworked muscles! The other girls had Ruda and Andrew and all expressed how wonderful their massage was. This Massage was the best thing after this girl weekend! My wife and I were finally able to celebrate our anniversary (which was in August) due to scheduling and her birthday (which was this weekend), and we started our vacation out in New Buffalo at Evolve.  I read many reviews of spas and they had the highest I could see, and we were overall not disappointed, but with one small issue which and why we didn't give 5 stars.  While in the massage room, we did hear some outside noise and a ringing phone several times; so it might be worth upgrading the insulation in the room to enhance the private cozy atmosphere.We had a couples 1-hour massage with hot stones.  Both of us were treated very well!  My wife had several requests, and I asked for targeted work on my arms and back, and yet I felt no other areas were neglected even though my primary concerns were addressed.  I had never had a hot stone massage before, and if you have trouble spots it is well worth the upgrade as it makes a noticeable difference!Both therapists were friendly, welcoming and professional.  We felt very well cared for and respected while there, and would not hesitate to recommend others try out Evolve while in New Buffalo, too.We hope to return if the opportunity ever comes up again in the future, and are very appreciative of our treatment during today's visit! Massages were great. Thurs time back with Andrew and every time it's Perfect. Gave a 4star rating bc facials were just ok....nothing special. Lots of product and wait for it to set and wipe it off. But would 100% Recommend massage. Read Less

Another amazing massage by Ruta at Evolve. We have been loyal clients for rhe past 6 years. Ruta and Andrew NEVER disappoint! They are true healers and make such a difference in my wellbeing. Not recommended for pedicures. While the staff at Evolve is very nice, the spa isn't really set up for pedicures and manicures. There is a limited selection of colors. The spa does not have a true pedicure chair - rather your feet soak in a brass bowl, the chair has a single "leg" that you rest your foot on and have to keep changing from one foot to the other as the pedicurist works on them. The pedicurist seemed inexperienced; my polish is streaked in areas and not complete in others. She didn't spend much time maintaining my cuticles and the "massage" portion was just a couple of minutes. I could have done a better job myself.Read Less

My wife and I went to the spa on our 1 year anniversary, and would consider the experience Very Good overall. The reason we would not give it an excellent is only because the spa has limited amenities when compared to a full service spa (i.e. showers, robes, areas to change / lockers. For the $ we typically had received these amenities at other spas...so when compared to other spas their service / quality of massage is there, but when comparing the amenities the value proposition changes...but ONLY a little. The therapists were great, and worked well with us. and, they even popped a bottle of bubbly for our anniversary...so please take that into account when you read my comments...as they make up for their lack of amenities with service! We came to New Buffalo for the weekend had lunch and noticed them putting a new sign in the window. The spa is suppose to open next week, but they were very nice to accomodate us. Evolve is owned by 2 Clinical Massage Therapists, who gave me and my wife two best massages we have ever had. The treatments were truly different and beyond our expectations. The atmosphere is clean, modern and relaxing. And the prices of services were much lower than Chicago Day spa prices. We left feeling relaxed and my sore hamstrings felt significantly better.
