I usually go to the nail salon in Battle Creek mall. I'm not too picky about my nails as long as they look decent. Tried this place because it's closer. I could have glued on acrylics from Walmart that look nicer than these. They are thick and and she didn't even take the time to sand them down so the edges are super wide and sharp. My toes nails are cut uneven, looks like a child painted them. My friends are chipping already less than 24 hrs after getting them done. She is going to different nail salon today to get them redone before her WEDDING TOMORROW. Usually pay $60 in Battle Creek for pedi/mani (both shellac). Paid $75 at this place. Never again. I always get a fantastic work done here and there always friendly the last Friday I took my daughter and to get acrylic nails while I got a pedi and manicure done after she was finished she came and showed me them and they were short and it looked crappy she told me that he put all of the tips on cut them all and then ask how they look if they were okay she's never got her nails and before she didn't know she could say no I don't like these and at that point she just wanted to leave while the same dumb man was taking my nails off and doing my manicure which he did a horrible job at he didn't massage my hands even hit any pressure points he just rub lotion and and I was done I asked him why the nails are so short and way they looked he said it's because they're curlex in the beginning we all got acrylics and they always look fantastic he did it way too fast and in the end he charged me for gel nails and she got acrylics as so irritated I just want to leave now I'm upset cuz now I have to find a new nail salon Read Less

I've always had a hard time with acrylic nails staying on until I went to Le Nails in Marshall, MI. The set I have on has been on for 6 weeks without a single break or chip. There staff is friendly and they do great work! Thank you Le Nails!!! Read Less

I called this morning and they were able to get me right in. I ended up with Gina doing my nails and I am definitely happy with the outcome. I was in town and had no idea where to go.   I had made some calls and it didn't seem like a lot of places did the fills with shellac.    I found Les Nails '   Yelp page and still wasn't totally sure but gave it a shot.   Great team of people lots of regulars coming I while I was here all very happy with their nails.   Gina did my nails, she should be the manager she seems to be the go to person.  She did a great job on my nails, highly recommend her!  Will come here each time I'm in town. The bad reviews are obviously old.  The salon is very clean, bright and professional. We came on a Friday at 6 PM (they close at seven) and were greeted by everyone in the salon. The two ladies that did our manicures were very sweet, made conversation, and did an excellent job on my shellac manicure and my daughters manicure and design. We wanted to get pedicures but ran out of time.  We will definitely be back in the next time we are in town!! Read Less

Was in the area for training...nothing better to do so got a mani (shellack) and pedi $65 plus a $10 tip. Total chaos. By the time they got to my pedi my feet hurt and were prunes. 2 1/2 hours later my nails were finally done and I could be one way...that was Wednesday night. Sunday I have chips in the shellack!! Four days!! I have had a shellack pollish last for 4-6 WEEKS without a chip!!! I was back in the area for training on Monday. Called them on my lunch break and left a message. No response. Called on Tuesday and spoke with two very rude employees who did not want to take down my name and number for a call back "you call back in hour and half we very busy now". Called back in an hour and a half still didn't want to take down my name and phone number but I insisted. Wednesday I am now back home and called again to see why I hadn't heard from anyone all day "I just work here I no know why he no call you". That's fine review time have a great day. Finally got a call back "you should have called earlier one two day chip we fix. No week later. I no help you". Should have read other reviews from traveling patrons before I went in here....there's a sucker born every minute and they see out of towners coming and take their money and don't care if they get what they paid for or not. I am very happy with the service I received.  The salon was clean and neat and the nail techs were pleasant.  They are Vietnamese but the younger girls spoke clear English as they were born in the USA.  They are very accommodating and I would return in the future. Read Less

Seemed kind of dirty (which is a little scary at a nail salon), although at least I didn't have any nails falling off like I do when I go to Le Nails in the mall. What really got me is when I went to get my nails taken off (it was made VERY clear to me it was$10, which I already knew and was fine with), the owner (the man) was very rude to me when I told him that I could not afford to get a new set put on at that time. He didn't file them or anything, even though they badly needed...which I thought especially odd since I was paying $10 for him to do something that took him about 30 seconds, not to mention they did not have any other customers at all. When he was done, I said, "Thank you, I appreciate it." His response was, "It's fine, as long as you pay!" I then tried to ask the lady a couple questions about what I might get next time and since she doesn't speak very good English, he came up and pretty much his only response to my questions was "Oh that costs too much, you can't afford it."
