Went there on a whim today since my usual nail tech was booked, and I was impressed. The wait was worth it (I was a walk in). The tech was quick, worked well and did a beautiful job on my nails. Also, she was gentle and didn't file too rough or try to force a small tip on my finger which is why I typically don't go to foreign owned nail salons. I love this place. They are very busy so I recommend making a appointment. I get my nails done by Cindy and an so happy after I leave she does them how I like them. Also all the girls I work with get their nails done here and love it. No place is perfect and not everyone is going to like them, but out of all the places I have gotten my nails done this is the best and cheapest. Read Less

Probably one of the worst nail salons I have ever been to. Was with a bridal party so we made our appointment weeks ahead of time to make sure we could all get in. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday night and they had already taking walk-ins so we couldn't all go at once, which was fine, except for the fact that they continued to take the walk-ins once they were done instead of servicing us, their appointment, first. Once I finally sat down with someone, the girl rushed through my nails, didn't ask me I wanted them trimmed down so they were extremely long and my hands reeked of smoked from her holding them. Disgusting. Smoking is a personal choice but wash your hands since you work with other's people hands. Very unprofessional. Also, she didn't do the fill all the way to the nail bed and even though I kept telling her to file it down, there are huge mounds at the end of my nails now as it grows out instead of being flush. Also, nails are rough and the shiny top coat that goes onto gel powder nails is already chipping (have never had this happen before even when going 2.5 weeks in between fills and its only been less than a week) I had a nail break on me the next morning (probably bc they were too long) Went back in to have it fixed and the guy I got this time was rude and pretended like he didn't know what gel powder was or the process of how to apply since I kept having to tell him he was skipping steps and to go back. He fixed my nail for free so I appreciated that but overall was very disappointed with my entire experience here and will never go back. Read Less

Waited over an hour for service. At 30 minutes I asked if I should come back, they told me don't leave and continued to take people who arrived after me before me. I wanted for over an hour. Awful service. Tell your customers you're too busy and to come back if you can't take care of them, letting them wait for over an hour is absolutely ridiculous. Overpriced as well. Read Less

I'm really not sure why everyone had had such a poor experience? I've been here 3 times and I think they're all fantastic. I have tiny baby nails so finding a salon to do my nails and walk out of there not looking like I dipped the tips of my fingers in candle wax has always been a challenge. They look legit when I get them done here. Minus one star because although my nails always look GOOD, GREAT... and I'm totally coming back... they aren't perfect. 9/10. What can I say? Rudest business I have ever visited. Even when I told my worker I was offended she was rude and didn't care. She put lotion on my leg when I asked not to bc of sensitive skin and she did anyway. She wouldn't wash off and yelled at me for doing so. They don't care to even greet customers..don't explain that there is a sign in sheet.. etc. It is a dump. Where to start? This place is garbage and so unsanitary. Idk how they're still in business. There isn't a price list anywhere to be found which is number one proofThey're about to hustle you. The lady I worked with told me $35 for a full set, this was hard to swallow, however, I agreed. But when she ran my card she ran it for $40. When I asked her why, she said that's what she told me, I guess I'm shortOf hearing. The girls next to overheard and asked their nail tech how much her full set would cost. The lady drew a blank it was beyond obvious they make upPrices as they go. Now, about the nails.I honestly think a rookie woulda done a better job for $20. My nails are garbage she didn't even remove the filed remains before she polished. Rude, Rude, Rude... incompetent staff, wait time is understated and work is horrible.  My mani and pedi with shellac took 2.5 hours, and one of my toes was scuffed by the end of it.  I informed her I had to leave and pick up my daughter from school, she said to come back and she'll fix the issue... I came back in 15 minutes and she was with another client and she told me to wait till she was finished... I would not wait, who knows how long that could be.  Maybe you are over worked, maybe you are understaffed, but be honest with your customers.  I was patient, generous with my tip - and I put up with rude, irresponsible service.... never again. Will NEVER go back! I was going here for a little while because it was convenient and the services weren't  that bad, but lately I've had nothing but bad experiences, one after the other. First, the nail tech that I was going too started doing a crappy job especially  when she was rushing through everything. Then, when I discovered that she had not cleaned the bowl properly before starting my pedicure and called her on it, she copped a funky attitude. I mean, who the hell wants to put their feet in a bowl with floating toe nails and cuticle remnants from God only knows who was sitting there before!My last straw was when getting my last manicure and the nail tech didn't just nip me while clipping my cuticles (which by the way ladies SHOULDN'T  be a common practice, I just prefer mine done that way) she CUT me pretty deep, to the point I was bleeding all over the place and she didn't  say one damn word!!!! She just kept working like nothing happened! They then had the nerve to get pissed when I stopped her from continuing and told them I wasn't  going to pay to be hacked up!  Needless to say a formal complaint was made against the business to the health dept. and the BBB. The worst nail salon I've been too. I went into the salon on a Wednesday. There were 3 people also sitting and waiting when I walked in. I was not greeted or told how long the wait was. After about 35 minutes. I asked a women who worked there how much longer the wait would be, she said 5 minutes. So I decided to wait since I had already been sitting that long. After 15 more minutes, I was next in line. An employee was just finishing up and got up and walked outside and starting smoking. At this point I was waiting almost an hour. If they don't care about the customers or making money...I'm more than happy to go somewhere else. I've been going here for almost 2 years. I love this facility. Ann and John are the owners, they are nice people. I get my nails done by Kim. I go to her every two weeks for a pedicure, fill and eyebrow waxing. She's a sweet heart and does a terrific job! Everything is clean here. They have numerous nail colors to choose from. UPDATE: I have been coming here on and off for a year and a half. Lately the staff has been rude and rushes me out. They seem almost bothered to be doing my nails, like I'm inconveniencing them. Don't bother making an appointment it doesn't matter, you will still have to wait. Love this nail salon!!! Update: by the way, my shellac is chipping and peeling away in less than 2 weeks.I have been getting my nails done for 12 years. I decided to try this place as I just moved across the street. It is literally the worse manicure (if you can even call it that) that I have ever gotten. In total, I was in and out in 17 minutes, and my nails are the proof :( He didn't soak my hands, or do any cuticle work. Just file and then paint. My nails are painted in triangles with the corner of my nail beds completely unpainted. My husband who has never commented one way or another on anything fashion or beauty related, even said how bad they look. Not to mention the bubbles in the paint, and that one of my nails is so translucent that you can see my natural nail underneath the bright red paint. I wish I was more confrontational so that I could have actually gotten my 20 dollars worth. For the first time EVER, I did not tip. I couldn't justify rewarding him for this mess. I'm going to a wedding in an hour and if I had the time, I'd go to another place and have them fix this mess. I am so disappointed. Read Less

I've gone to Ann now for a little over 7 years, this honestly is the best salon I've been to. Super friendly and they know exactly what I want without me asking, they are super clean and have great prices! I won't let anyone else touch my nails, I'll go a week or two with naked nails or just put my own polish on before I let anyone else touch my nails that's how picky I am... If you don't like this salon, or who does your nails, you may have your own issues to work out because hands down they are the best!! Read Less

I'm one of the most pickiest nail people you will meet. I have been to countless nail salons all around Metro Detroit only to leave disappointed 90 percent of the time. I was in the area and saw and Envy nails.  I'm happy to say I made a good choice to stop. Andy, the nail tech was a sweetheart and told me he's been doing nails for 14 years. He started at the tender age of 15. He paid special attention and took his time to sculpt each nail nicely. They were packed and he could have rushed through to take more clients. This place was recommended to me by a friend who is there bi-weekly. She did say that she only recommends Linda or Ann and not to go to anyone else.I called when they opened and Ann was booked but got in with Linda at 11:30 that day. I wasn't disappointed, she did a very good job and was very nice! I was going to get a full set but she convinced me to go for shellac (which I usually get) so I didn't ruin my nails. They have a TON of shellac colors to choose from, if I had to guess I'd say 150!It was clean and modern. Maybe 6 or 7 pedi stations and 6 or 7 mani stations, so not huge so I'd suggest making an appt. Pricing was reasonable. She only charged me $20 because she said I didn't need my cuticles cut/trimmed. I'll begin by saying I overall, I was not impressed. I called ahead and was told to come in. I got there and the employees were in a rush to leave. I was rushed through my shellac manicure, if you can even call it that. I basically had my nails painted. The people seemed friendly enough but nothing out of the ordinary.
