Well, I assumed that because of it’s popular location, eye-catching building and extremely high pricing, that this salon would be the perfect place to get my hair done after having a bad experience at Bocci not too long ago. BOY WAS I WRONG. I know getting my hair done is going to be expensive, I’ve been doing it for 15 years, but the service I received at this salon was just awful. First of all, why do they rate their stylists on a level from 1-4? Well, I ended up booking an appointment with Millie who is supposedly a level 4 and right from the beginning I could tell it wasn’t good. She completely berated her assistant the entire time I was there and treated her like she was a servant. Not only did Millie NOT listen to what I wanted (even after showing her 10+ photos), but she acted like I was an idiot. The haircut she gave me was so bad, she spent 5 minutes cutting it and the highlights I got are soooo spotty and they’re gold (not blonde like I asked for) because she didn’t put a toner on them!!!! She rushed my appointment and basically pushed me out the door. I ended up having to go somewhere else to get my hair fixed, so not only did I pay $215 for terrible service but I had to go to another salon and pay $160 to have it fixed!!!! Read Less

Such a beautiful salon! I came here to get a 30-minute massage and facial, then got my mani and pedi done. I couldn’t be any happier! This is a beautiful and classy looking salon and spa. Great service too!I came here for a mani-pedi. Their nail services are done in a separate, smaller room off of the main salon, which meant it was a little cramped but still nice. The mani-pedi itself was great - lots of color options and the nail techs were all really friendly.My only small qualm was on the cleanliness. Not a huge deal, but most other salons I've been to open up a clean pack of tools or at least a clean set of files to use. While the tools here were soaking in solution, it was hard to tell how clean everything really was. Read Less

I would like to thank the girls at De Jolie for getting the worst case of bed head out of my wife’s hair that they have ever seen , she was laid up in the hospital and the nurses there neglected to take care of her hair for 5 days , no washing or brushing, my wife is a paraplegic and with all the IV ‘s she couldn’t do it herself and the end result was a knot ball bigger than a softball, we thought they were going to have to cut all her hair off, but through determination and incredible patience and professionalism my wife came out of that salon with a beautiful hair style ! Go see Annie Oleksik! She does THE perfect color. She has been doing my hair for a few years now and each time I see her, she gets better and better. She really listens to what you want but also makes great recommendations on what she thinks will look good based on your face shape and hair color. I never have to tell her what I want anymore. I just know I can trust her to do what looks good and is healthy for my hair. I promise she never disappoints! I would highly recommend Annie, especially if you've never colored your hair or have been disappointed in the past! First 2 times i went to this salon i got treated good. 3rd time i was ignored, bess was dying my hair but kept walking away to take care of her other client. After that she got someone else to rinse my hair then asked me if i wanted a blow dry? I said yes and she was still working on other girl and said i can have someone else dry it. I made the appointment with bess and was pawned off to others. Then i went to pay and walked up to the counter to count my money. I wasnt cutting in just needed a place to set my purse. Kimberly did a wonderful job consulting me on what would be best both for my budget and my hair situation. Without question, I will be back for all my future hair needs. I love De Jolie! This is, without hesitation, the most gorgeous salon I've ever had the pleasure of walking into. I come here to see Kate for eyelash extensions. She is amazing! She is friendly, talented, gentle, and really helped calm me down the first time I got them. I was nervous about having my eyes closed for two hours. She is so gentle that each time I got the extensions, I was able to fall asleep. I would come see her more often if I were wealthy haha but those extensions can get very pricy if you're going every two weeks! I used to come in here regularly for the eyelash extensions but now I just get them done for special occasions. The girls at the desk always compliment my lashes when I'm on my way out, they're really sweet and make sure my experience is always a special one. Last visit I was in for sticker shock. Men's haircuts jumped a whopping 30% and am now having to pay $26. I have been seeing my stylist for nearly 20 years and I hate to leave her. I don't blame her for the price increase, but I blame the salon. I have half the hair I had when I started going to her and it literally takes her ten minutes or less to cut it. I can't see paying that much and am considering going down the street from them to Headquarters Haircuts For Men. I've heard from others that they do an excellent job for $8 less unless De Jolie is willing to negotiate a reduced price for me. I bet I won't be the only guy reconsidering a new place for a haircut. Lovely salon, but the schedulers messed up my appointment after speaking with them 2 or 3 times explaining exactly what I wanted and clarifying their email confirmation. My "add-on" service was still messed up, so I ended up getting my massage but NO additional service. Shockingly, the add-on gal (pedicurist) seemed upset at ME over mistake made by Salon, and to make matters worse, I discovered that after I left the area she had continued complaining about what happened publicly in front of other customers. I do understand that one employee's unprofessional behavior may not be reflective of the Salon in general.I want to add that since writing this, the Salon owner contacted me personally, respectfully listened to all of my concerns and could not have been more understanding and apologetic. She appreciated being informed of what happened from a professional standpoint so that something could be done to prevent it happening in the future, and pointed out their revamped webpage that even the staff was getting used to. She also sent me a followup email thanking me again and informing me that she'd spoken with this employee and that they both apologized. I very much appreciated her response. Read Less

I called to make appointments with their Spa section.  I was told that the Assistant Manger had to handle appointments for over 2 people (I had 3 total).  I thought this was odd; however, it is not my business so who am I to tell them it is horrible customer service.  I left my name and number then heard absolutely nothing back.  I called again, this time speaking to different person and they said I was misinformed.  She could help me out.  So I told her what we were looking for only to find out, the services I wanted were no longer available because they were booked.Well Thank you, Thank you very much for wasting my time.  I would suggest that if you attempt to go to this place, you make sure everything is done while you are on the phone.  Then I would call back to double check it was completed.  Plus on the day of your appointment, I would call again to make sure you are still on the schedule. She takes time with you and even when you spring in a surprise color or other options she may have not been expecting to do, she always finds the time to get the results you desire. I would recommend seeing Natasha. She knows what she's doing and always rinses off all the hair after giving men's cuts. And I always leave looking fresh with a great cut. No hair all over me like other stylists at different salons. Great for men's cuts as well as women's services. Read Less
