I am SO happy that I found Charisma Salon! When I was planning my June 23rd wedding, I was looking for a salon close by my venue that could offer both hair and makeup services. I chose this salon because of the photos on their website and reviews that I had read. I am so glad I did! They were more than able to accommodate those in my wedding party who opted to get their hair and / or makeup done. Mary is an incredible makeup artist and made my sister and I feel so beyond beautiful for this special day. I wanted my mother to be pampered and to feel just as beautiful, and Brandi absolutely transformed her thin hair into a gorgeous curled style- the exact one she had wanted. Jenna was just awesome! I had never used hair extensions before, and she made me look glamorous! My matron of honor and bridesmaid looked just lovely. Can’t wait to go back for other salon services! Love, love, LOVE this salon! Thank you for making me beautiful for my wedding!

I came in a week ago with my family and had an awesome experience! But then I came back today to get my hair done for prom and it was a total trainwreck I had to go home and fix it myself. My hair wasn't even brushed out & I have curly, knotty hair so it just came out super messy with uneven curls.

I was pretty disappointed with my experience at Charisma. I scheduled a facial and when I walked into the room it felt small, it was literally the size of a closet, and messy. I immediately started talking to the esthetician about my skin care problems, I have clogged pores, and she was very dismissive and told me she would look at it. I made an appointment for a corrective facial and did not find out until afterwards that I was given their regular facial. I was only charged the regular facial price, but it bothered me because that was not what I wanted. After the facial, I did not see any improvements with my skin, so if I ever decided to get a facial again it will most likely not be here. Their salon services may be good looking at other reviews, but their day spa needs work.

I had made an appointment to get hair and makeup done. What happened if my fiancé had a bunch of things happened that left us 20 minutes late and so I couldn’t do the hair appointment. I was so emotionally upset because we were suppose to do photos for our engament right after. He felt so bad about it. When I got there they did everything they could to assist me with out messing up anyone’s already schedule time but at the same time was on point for me everything they did. I am so greatful for the three special ladies who got us back on point for our photos! Very great services and they go the distance they care and passionate about what they do.

Just very average. Want to pay $25 to get your hair dried after a coloring? I don't think so. Not here anyway. It was rushed and seemed like the stylists are more interested in their local pals who are clients telling their life troubles than actually being interested in delivering really great service to each client and putting their best into new techniques and great service. Oh well. Hey if you want gossip and People Magazine while getting hair did, this is your spot.

I LOVE Charisma. Mary, who does the most amazing job with eyebrows and make-up, has been my brow savior for 16 years. 16 years! I won't let anyone else touch my brows. And Stephanie W. has finally given me the best haircut solution ever. I have struggled for years and I finally am happy. I used to travel up to an hour to come here-that says a ton. Thanks Charisma!

I find the prices excessively high, but if your a believer in getting what you pay for, then price may not be an issue. I moved to MI in 2014, and finding a salon was by far one of the hardest things....
I find the prices excessively high, but if your a believer in getting what you pay for, then price may not be an issue. I moved to MI in 2014, and finding a salon was by far one of the hardest things. I tried many before Charisma, and Jenna. Jenna is the only stylist I use here so my review is based on my experience with just one stylist. I get the color works, and I have been pleased EVER TIME with finished product. The washout comes with a head massage that is refreshing and stimulating. If your looking for a new look check out Charisma and ask for Jenna. She is great!!!

I am not impressed. I signed up for Mary's makeup class and I wish I could go back in time and not waste $85. Nothing she said was anything you couldn't really search online or watch on youtube. I am not sure why the individual classes are $65 but we were charged $85. They also claim the goodie bags we were given were worth $75 alone. What a joke, how is a bunch of hair product samples and some lipstick without a product label on it worth $75?! You would think we would get some MAKEUP at a MAKEUP class. Mary even showed us what brushes we need and some of her favorite products, so why didn't we receive that? Definitely seems like the kind of place that just wants to get you in, take your money and get you out. I would never go back for any type of service.

I went to this salon for the first time . I had the most amazing experience . I got hair color done . Dan is my stylist . I must say he had lot of patience working with Asian hair . My hair looks amazing and I have lost count on how many compliments I am getting on the color he did .I recommend this salon .The staff if professional and knowledgable . They know what they are doing .I am not going anywhere else .

The stylist that I had was fantastic! She did an amazing job on my color and I loved my haircut! Everyone was very friendly, offering me coffee or something to drink. Everyone was smiling and very polite. It was overall a good experience and I will definitly be making another appointment! Maybe this time for nails or a facial.

I am SO happy that I found Charisma Salon! When I was planning my June 23rd wedding, I was looking for a salon close by my venue that could offer both hair and makeup services. I chose this salon because of the photos on their website and reviews that I had read. I am so glad I did! I had made an appointment to get hair and makeup done. What happened if my fiancé had a bunch of things happened that left us 20 minutes late and so I couldn’t do the hair appointment. Jenna is the only stylist I use here so my review is based on my experience with just one stylist. I get the color works, and I have been pleased EVER TIME with finished product. The washout comes with a head massage that is refreshing and stimulating. If your looking for a new look check out Charisma and ask for Jenna. She is great!!!

I am not impressed. I signed up for Mary's makeup class and I wish I could go back in time and not waste $85. Nothing she said was anything you couldn't really search online or watch on youtube. I am not sure why the individual classes are $65 but we were charged $85. They also claim the goodie bags we were given were worth $75 alone.
