They now charge $1 to use any CARD. Yes, this includes your debit card. I'm not impressed enough to pay an additional dollar. Especially when they can allow an option to use your debit pin. I go at least once a month and get my feet done. The staff remembers you and remembers what you had done the last time. When you wear workboots over 10 hours in a day .it's nice to have someone to rub your feet and give your legs a massage at the same time .. I didn't get what I paid for. I paid for gel nails. Which was $50 for a full set with nail art. I enjoyed my tech he was entertaining but didn't finish my nails correctly. I enjoyed my time there with my two girlfriends who also got their nails done. The place looks great and is really clean and that's what the 2 stars is for. We were the last ones seen last Saturday. But right at the end I felt rushed. My tech started off right. He put gel on as the base. And I used the light machine to seal it. But to finish it he used clear polish which was not right. He told me that was how they finish off all their gel nails Which I know to be incorrect as I have had gel nails many times over the years. Day before the wedding, and one of the brides maids suggested we should get ourselves pampered at her regular spot. So she told us a time and address and everything is history.So we show up and they have us pretty much accommodated right away. They got us on the pedicure soak. Girl who was working on my hooves waa really nice and very engaging. Talkative, nice and really knew what she was doing. After all the cut and polish she directed me to the waxing room to get my caterpillars did.After getting my eyebrows done,, we were off to my manicure portion of the day. Cut my nails, polished, trimmed my cuticles and the clear coat for the finish. Everything was done up in a timely manner. Plus they were definitely very nice. There was people coming in and out and all them looked like they were being taken cared of as well.The place is very well kept, new chairs, new fixtures, new everything. I came here the day of my graduation party to get a polish over my week old acrylics. The man who painted my nails did it super super quick. He also added so much polish on my nails that I had to sit for 30 minutes to let it dry, yet it still looked horrible.He seen how bad they looked and allowed me to leave like that! I came back and I then complained to the owner and she was willing to fix them.However she had a huge attitude and made me wait 20 minutes before she bothered to fix them!Never will I be back. My sister was just in there earlier for a pedicure and she told him the water was too hot. He turned the water on again but it was the hot and not the cold and scalded her foot. Which is bad enough . But he wouldn't take responsibility for it. Kept insisting he turned on the cold then a girl came over she talked to him and told my sister it was cold water. The service there is done in a rush. Some of the workers know what they are doing and do a really nice job. some of them don't really care. Do they have there license for what they are doing? The prices once were decent recently the price have been starting to go up slowly. I was charged $85.00 for a basic manicure and pedicure and shellac on my toes and nails. When I went to go speak to the owner of the location. I asked her how much the charge for a manicure and a pedicure her and shellac on toes and nails?  she said $70. She asked me to have a seat for me to wait she needed to discuss it with the employee that attended me. Among all of them they carried a conversation in their own language and they came down with the conclusion that I was charge correctly $85 so who who am I to believe the owner or the employee or do they just upped the prices whenever they want. I am a newbie to the manicure pedicure scene. I came here a few weeks ago for a mani-pedi (my third one ever!) Walk in status was excellent and they got me in right away. I asked the nail tech what my options were for my nails other than a full set of fake ones. He suggested shellac. I can't believe it lasts 2 weeks!! I've been going to Kiss Nails for YEARS. I did kind of fall out with them and stop going for a short while, but I went back and have been going regularly ever since. I have my one person that I prefer (Kevin), but there are a couple others that I'll settle for (smile), if he's not available. I usually wait for him, though, if he's working on someone else. I usually get a gel overlay over my own nails. My nails usually last over 2 weeks!They have really updated their interior design, too. The colors are relaxing and inviting. I haven't had a pedi there since they've gotten the new chairs, but I've been in that particular chair at another shop and they are indeed nice. They do a pretty good job with waxing. I usually get my eyebrows done or upper lip. DO pick up one of the loyalty cards. Get it initialed on each visit and get like $18 (or is it $12) off your bill when your card is filled.DO pick a good time to go. During the week or Sunday mornings are best. Never a Friday after work or Saturday morning/afternoon. DO take your own quick dry. Either a quick dry spray or Avon has a nice quick dry liquid.
