I get a soak off and shellac every two weeks with Samantha and I absolutely adore coming! The place is always clean, everyone is super nice, and I always have a great time. My nails last wonderfully and I am so rough on them, I couldn’t be happier with my experience here. :)

Absolutely loved the way Whitney did my hair. I would definitely give 5 stars for that. The reason why I gave 4 stars is because after she asked me what I wanted done to my hair there was no further conversation about anything so I felt somewhat awkward. Guess I just have had more talkative hairdressers in the past. However, I would definitely go back and I would definitely recommend her.

I have suffered with pain from a frozen shoulder for months and a friend gave me a gift certificate for a massage. My masseuse, Jackie, was a myofascial specialist. She listened to my complaints of pain and worked her magic. I havent felt this good in months. Very professional and kind. Environment was relaxing and calm. I will definitely be going back.

Jesse does amazing work with hair!! The other Jessie did a great job giving me a pedicure. And Kimmy gives the best massages. Everyone here is so kind and the atmosphere is so relaxed and fun!!!

Searching for a professional, fun, creative hairstylist? Then you must definitely visit Jesse at Calming Effects Hair & Spa. I have been following him on his journey thru different salons (he can't get rid of me) and I always have a great experience, great customer service, and damn good looking hair. I always leave feeling beautiful and confident. His range of talent is amazing and never stops growing! Everything he does is not only gorgeous, there is no simple with him... he always goes above and beyond! I've never received more compliments than I do when I get a fresh cut/ color with Jesse. Jesse is an excellent hair dresser, but the prices are way to high. unfortunately I will not be returning to the salon for that reason. I cant see paying 50.00 just for a trim for the very little hair...

From the outside you are fooled on how actually big it is inside! The first time I walked into this amazing place I instantly felt a sense of calm come over myself. The staff is so so down to watch and friendly always having a good time. Decorated very rustic giving it that at home feel. Super clean and sanitary that is very important to me. So I decided to meet with Michelle one of the owners and discuss employment for the hair side. Needless to say I started two days later. My names Jesse and I am one of the hairdresser here and I invite you to come in and experience a day at the spalon.

My experience at Calming Effects was calming from start to finish. The spa is very quiet, especially compared to some hair salons that throw in massage as an extra. I had the good fortune to have a therapeutic massage by Misty. The spa offers quite a range of services; this 60-minute treatment was just what I needed. Misty started by asking how I wanted to feel when I left. I replied, "Pampered and soft." And boy, was I. Great pricing. Outstanding service.

Absolutely loved the way Whitney did my hair. I would definitely give 5 stars for that. My experience at Calming Effects was calming from start to finish. The spa is very quiet, especially compared to some hair salons that throw in massage as an extra. I had the good fortune to have a therapeutic massage by Misty. The spa offers quite a range of services; this 60-minute treatment was just what I needed.
