I had a pretty great experience. I have 'thin skin' at my cuticles, which I told my tech. She nicked me on the third nail and was much more gentle after that to en up with terrific looking nails. I was headed to a wedding that afternoon and she did 3 coats. That was August 26th and other than being quite grown out they look amazing! Only one peeled so far. I look forward to my return visit! Should have listened to the reviews, but I went here anyway. Still looking for a good place in the area to get my nails done so I gave this place a try. Was surprised at how dead it was inside for a Saturday. Which was good for me, no wait. Paint job was mediocre. On one nail there were weird imprints on the tip which was annoying. I can't believe how bad my nails looked after going here - if I could give 0 stars, I would. I came in with gel polish on grown out acrylics and left wishing I had the money and time to go to a real salon to just take it all off.The woman working on my nails, whom I believe is the owner, took my dark purple gel polish off with the nail sander, which is theoretically fine as I was getting a fill. However, she left 3 prominent bits of the old polish on the sides of my nails which of course come through very clearly on my new, light tan nails. The fill itself was poorly done and uneven, and when I tried to complain midway through she falsely claimed it would all be fixed at the end. The cuticle oil was applied in one big sweep that ended up mostly above my knuckles. The nail polish was applied poorly and ended up so streaky and transparent that my fills are clearly visible under it. Instead of sitting at a drying station, I was asked to hold my hands up to a little fan at the manicure station for 7 minutes.She had trouble with her equipment throughout, spending 5 minutes trying to fix the brush she was using for the acrylic. Normally I wouldn't complain about that - things happen, I get it - but she never apologized, didn't actually fix the brush but instead went ahead and used it (was it their only brush?), and on top of everything else seemed to indicate a general lack of professionalism. Speaking of, the place was filthy. She used toilet paper off a roll to put under my hands, the towel she was using to wipe her tools was stained and crusty, and I'm almost positive they don't regularly clean the equipment with anything but soap and water  between clients.Other highlights:-polish was left all over my fingers-polish pooled at my cuticles and left a weird ridge as it grew out- my nails were filed down unevenly and I wasn't even asked what shape I wanted-on two fingers there were significant gaps between my cuticle and where the fill ended (this was what she had earlier promised would be fixed by the end) Read Less

They filed my nails too short and got nail polish all over the skin around my nails. Went there to get my no chip polish redone. Ended up with pooled polish near my cuticles and up on my skin on numerous fingers. One chipped off along the bottom after one day. I will not be going there again and although the price was reasonable it is not worth the hassle I am going to have to go through to have my nails redone after 2 days. Read Less

So I used to go here to get my gel tips filled, and had no problems. I recently went here before I left to go on vacation on a Wednesday. By Thursday at work, almost all of my nails were chipped. I ran back in after work Thursday before driving to the airport, and had them redo it. I chose the same color and asked if maybe it was the polish, they said no. She even put a "stronger top coat" since she knew I would be going on vacation. When I was letting them dry, I noticed all of my nails were bubbling. I showed the ladies and the owner came and put another top coat on top. This actually made it so you couldn't see the bubbles. I get to my vacation spot and see that my friend has chosen the exact same nail color as me (Lincoln Park after dark)... only they didn't look anything alike! I think Glamour just kept thinning their polish down so they could keep using the same colors.  Needless to say, even with the stronger top coat, my manicure was chipped, peeled off, and gone within 3 days. I got home Monday and had to take the polish off- it looked so bad. Thursday-Monday for a manicure, pathetic!I wanted to say my pedicure lasted longer and it was only the polish I chose for my fingernails that was faulty... but nope. Pedicure has already begun chipping and it hasn't even been a week. I'd like to think I get at least 3 weeks out of a pedi before I have to go get a new one.Do not go here, EVER!  The prices are cheap enough, $30 for mani/pedi, but so not worth the agony of a crappy manicure. Absolutely horrible! Went there a couple times, but since last time I will certanly never go back there. The guy who did my pedi used one of those callus razors and cut my heel really deep and bad and didn't even say anything. It was bleeding a lot and I only noticed when I got to the car, cause it was really painful. I had that cut and was limping for almost a month. DO NOT GO THERE!!! Read Less
