very disappointed! Getting married on Friday and I have a very busy schedule this week, my boss let me take a longer lunch so I could go get my nails done. I picked out the color for my toes and then the lady went to pick out the color for my nails, I asked her if its the same color she said yes, that it matches that it is the same. IT DID NOT MATCH! When I looked at my toes when my nails were done....the toes are much darker and the nails were more of a pinkish than purple like the toes. Also the gal doing it communicated by tapping my leg or hand to tell me what to do, it took a long time. I am not satisfied at all. They said it would only take 5 min to fix but my polish was all dry and I was already over my time limit and needed to get back to work. This should not have happened. Very disappointed and won't be back! This was done for a very special occasion and the lady the took my money had a really cocky attitude about it too. I went on my lunch break to get shellac done and they took FOREVER to do my nails and I was late for work (I had an hours lunch break and work right up the street). They made me soak my shellac off for 30 minutes which is insane. Then the girl took forever to paint them and did a really crappy job. Horrible customer service. Rude in fact. I never had my nails done before and I wish I didn't choose this business. Dirty salon. Dust on everything. The lady who did my nails had blood and nail dust on her hands from the previous customer I guess. She wasn't friendly and was in a hurry. I got a manicure and the shellac polish that supposedly stays on for three weeks. Started chipping under a week. The so called manicure consisted of a little filing and thats it. No hand massage no cuticle pushing. Sloppy nail polish application. I dont understand how this place is still in business and how the health department hasnt shut them down yet. Felt uncomfortable. The person was rude when she realized I wasn't going to spend as much as she wanted. I really want to like this place because it's so close to me. I don't normally write reviews but I didn't care for how I felt leaving. I want to be pampered, not made to feel like a burden. I do like the nails though. Did a great job. :) Read Less

Worst place ever. I went in for a pedicure. It was pretty much a 30 dollar paint job. I asked them to work on some callouses I had on my feet and heels. I asked 3 times for them to smooth it out. No pumice stone used. I had to go get another pedicure somewhere else so I could have cute smooth feet. I was also told that it was against Oregon law to smooth my feet. My daughter who is getting married tomorrow had a certificate for toe nails and finger nails and eye brows it got lost we had proof of purchase through the bank and they had the receipt but still would not honor it we have been going there for years all our friends and family. Now we will never go back they we're rude disrespectful and out right nasty about the situation that's poor business like a huge mistake on their part bad business they suck now we had to get more money as if a wedding is cheap. First of all terrible service !!! Got over charged for my little girl they said $8 for just painting and cutting nails which was fine then when getting ready to pay they charged me $18 and instead of paying $22 they charged me 28 dollars . A huge disappointment !!!! Read Less

Had my nails removed today and did two Manis. The nail removal was ok and my granddaughters mani was good but mine was terrible. All he did was stick my hands in water. And the Polish was horrible. I have to have them repainted tonight. Unimpressed. Read Less

I had a gift certificate for $50 from my son, came away with a Mani with "ceramic polish" that lasted all of three days before starting to chip off, and pedicure. The technician didn't speak English, so I sat there listening to her talk to her co-worker in Asian the whole time. The owner sounds and looks angry when she interacts with you on the phone and in person. The ONLY good thing was the music! I wouldn't go back. Read Less

Went there other day somehow i was in there 1 hr came out with my nails cricked and not evenly filed bubbles i got a fullset done with diamonds on top and very poor job absolutely let down i was still peeling glue off my fingers and the white left over acrylic from under my nails which should have been cleaned. I will not be returning and going to different salon to have removed and fixed they were more worried about getting new clients in then attending to the current ones i had 2 people work on my nails and the gal got up and walked away for 5 mins no words. I used to come here all the time when Kim and Kevin owned the place! They always did a great job. Sadly this time wasn't the case. :/ I ended up spending 44$ for a pedicure and airbrushing on my two big toes. The gentleman who was doing the airbrushing smudged my nail polish on one of my big toes and took off the nail polish. I thought he was gonna paint the blue he took off back on n fix it before he airbrushed it... WRONG!! He instead just left the spot that had no polish on it and airbrushed over it. You could still see that there was polish missing under the airbrush. I paid the 44$ and left an unhappy camper! Needless to say the polish didn't even last 2 days before it started to chip off! Worst customer service I think I ve ever had. She (the owner I believe) did not shape my nails or push back my cuticles. She put a base coat on my nails and put my hands in a flourescent light. She said I need to be there for 3 minutes and left. She went to pick up her daughter in the middle of my manicure. After about 8 minutes I asked the other girl working what what going on. She came over and started to polish my nails. No explanation of where the other lady went. I noticed after one coat that the polish was not the right color. The other girl said they could put a darker polish on to match - the owner said no it would cause my nails to chip. I then asked if they put lotion on my hands. She handed me a bottle of lotion. When I walked out I noticed I had polish on my cuticles, and my nails were not the same shape. They looked like I painted them myself. So why did I pay $25???? I had to get back to work, I didn t have time to deal with it. As I was leaving, I noticed checks on the ground in the parking lot written to Southside nails. I took the time to pick them up and bring them in and hand them to the owner. The next day I realized that my nails looked awful. I called and they said they would redo them. THe girl who redid them was very good and I am happy with them now. But when I asked if I could have the darker polish. Don, the manager said they would charge me $10. I would have cost him nothing to right a wrong and have me leave a satisfied customer, but he chose for me to leave dissatified. TRULY THE WORSK CUSTOMER SERVICE I VE EVER HAD!! Read Less
