i went here yesterday with a friend & orignally wanted a full set & an eyebrow wax. well the guy went to do my nails and cut my finger (he didn’t even say sorry). so i told him nevermind, i wanted to just get a mani, so i got a lady who did it, and she did a crappy job.. the paint chipped already on my thumb. and when i got done with that, they never brought me over to get an eyebrow wax, i was upset with the situation so i just wanted to leave. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I used to go here faithfully over 10 years ago. Came through town and stopped in for a fill and should've walked back out before he started. The place was very dirty and gross! Henry did my nails and did a crappy job. (I pre-manicure my cuticles before I get a fill) he tore up my cuticles with the dremel tool, never asked if I wanted my nails shortened, never cleaned under my nails with the dremel tool(my real nails) -I had very jagged nails underneath when he was done. I've been getting my nails done for 20 years and never had such bad service. Just an overall bad experience. I'll never go back. Convenient entry and location especially for a tourist like me just looking for a quick nail spot but as soon as you walk in everyone breaks necks to look at you but no one greets you(should've left right there) the front desk looked at us like we were lost I asked if they accepted walk ins and she pointed at the chairs to sit and wait(okay) after a 30 min wait and watching nail techs sitting around, we decided to get up and start heading out when someone finally decided to attend us(I wish she would've let me leave) horrible service horrible work. I have used this salon a couple times and been disappointed each time. The shellac didn't dry on one hand. I went back to fix it. The fix left air bubbles in the shellac. My aunt, sister, and I all got a toe nail fungus after pedicures here. Read Less

He didn't do my toe nails right the first time so I had to correct him after he started painting then what I asked him to do the second time he also didn't so correctly. Also while painting he missed HALF of my nails. They look horrible. Definitely will not be coming back to this place. Read Less

Typically I enjoy this salon. However, I received a shellac manicure not quite 2 weeks ago and by day 7 of (shellac wear) I had 4 broken nails, and 3 other nails that were chipping. By day 9 all the nails had broken off. I was recommended this service to preserve my natural long nails prior to my vacation departure... I would have been better off leaving my nails alone. The shellac should last a minimum of 2 weeks from the research I've done else where. I've never had a problem with a pedicure however, it's been a while. I don't plan on returning to this salon. I had a terrible experience here. When one of the ladies was doing my toes, she took off skin from my big toe and made many toes bleed. When I called for a refund, they said they don't do refunds. I have tried talking to the managers, but whenever I call, they are not there. Frustrating!! Read Less

The lady I had did not speak any English and every time you I told her what I wanted, she would smile and say yes so I thought she understood. Not at all! Some were pointed, some were flat, I asked for pink for my french and got clear (tried to explain but she just smiled), asked for a nail to be fixed (again, just smiled but didn't fix). I scheduled an appointment for a haircut the weekend after Christmas. Being the holidays, they were a bit busy so I had to wait a little. A nice woman cut my hair, we didn't talk much, but I don't really like to talk when I get my haircut so that was great for me. I showed her some photos on my phone of how I wanted my haircut and, like I expected, she cut it. I liked how it turned out. It seems like most people come here for a manicure because I was the only one getting my haircut. I'd recommend making an appointment first because they seemed so busy, that way you don't have to wait long. Read Less

It is unfortunate that Le Salon can receive a one star rating as they deserve a no star rating for my experience today. I had a mani/pedi. The two women who did my nails shared their drama about a mutual acquintance the entire time. I sat for about 10 min under the light and could see mail streams in half of my finger nails and saw it on my toenails as well. I thought that I have done a better job myself. Not to mention that the gal doing my pedi nicked my skin deeply and drew blood. I have never experienced this before.when I got up to show someone my nails, I bumped one. The woman looked at them and said that they would have to be redone because ruined them. I showed her the pedi which she had done. She grabbed the polish and put another coat on. The gal that did my nails said it was the polish. She said she noticed it was not right in my pedi but chose not to say anything. It goes to say "you get what you pay for". So first of all, my friend and I wanted to treat our selves to getting our nails done together. When we walked in, no one greeted us, all of the employees were just looking at us like we weren't supposed to be there and it was extremely uncomfortable. Then when they sat us, they sat us in separate rooms to get our nails done. I could understand if they were busy and needed to sit us at different stations, but we were the only two getting our nails done, there was an open spot next to me, and the rest of the customers were getting pedicures on the other side of the salon. Basically, I did not get spend time with my friend who I had invited to come with me.A little later on, employees were complaining about customers that had left. That just made me wonder, "hmm, I wonder what they are going to say about me when I leave?"Lastly, I asked for acrylic nails, done with white nail polish over them. The owner, Le, was the one who did my nails. She had only put two coats of white nail polish on my nails which really needed a third coat. On top of that she told me the nail polish I picked out was $3 more because the polish "lasts longer." Doubtful, but I thought it would be worth it. I was wrong. The end result of my nails looked AWFUL! My 12 year old brother could have done a better job than she did. There are white streaks due to only having two coats of polish. I showed my friend when we were done and she agreed that they looked awful. An hour later I look down at one of my nails and one of the tips is already CHIPPED! An acrylic nail already chipped on the first day of getting them? Unacceptable.I am not a picky person what so ever, especially when it comes to nails I am very simple. But they look horrible and I will not be returning there, nor will my friend. My business will be taken else where because the job done on my nails were worth $5, not $23.Also it is very sad to see that the owner can't even take the time to put at least one more coat and please her customers. WORST nail salon EVER! I would send someone to get their nails painted by my 18 month old daughter before I would refer them to "Le Salon". The people there were rude, especially the fat younger one with an attitude like she has no time for anyone. She was rude to my four-year-old daughter, and was a complete mess! The woman who did my nails had glue all over her fake lashes that looked like she put them on in the dark. I went back in two times to get my nail polish fixed and left with it looking worse than it did the first time. It was a waste of time and money. They were rude, the place was a disgusting mess and they couldn't even make up for it by doing a decent job on my nails. The only reason why I went in was because it was so close to the hotel I was staying at. That was a mistake. This place should be closed down. It is a dirty, disgusting mess and the people are uneducated and rude. They don't know what they're talking about and they're equipment is outdated and filthy. Great place to get your nails done at. I've been coming for years and never had a bad job done here. The owners also do treatments. There is very rarely a wait. Look somewhere else to get acrylics! My daughter and I both went here to get our nails done together. We had our nails done at the same time by different people. First they convinced us that solar nails where a superior product ( we learned later it was a scam and just a different brand of acrylic used to scam people for more money). My daughters person ( the were not techs) was actually nice and could speak some english but she ripped her skin and cuticle with the efile. My person was rude and rough. She destroyed my nails. I had no idea at the time since it was our first time getting acrylics that she was doing it wrong and that I shouldn't have been in pain. My nail beds were on fire and are still a mess a few months later. I slowly removed them when I realized we went to a bad shop and We are paying the price. My nail beds still have the ring of fire and are very sensitive to any touch whatsoever. My daughters natural nails ripped after hers were removed. We still have months to go before we can hope to undo the damage the did to our nails. Find a quality salon that has trained professionals. Read Less

Just don't go. I ignored the negative review to my detriment. I made an appointment (first one that morning) for a manicure and pedicure. I would have been better off to save my money and do it myself. It was not a relaxing experience due to the employees yelling at each other across the room and a general feeling that they were in a rush. At one point, the gentleman doing my manicure stopped (while holding my finger), put down the nail file, retrieved his cell phone from his pocket, and made a call...to the receptionist.Maybe this would all be less bothersome if I left with nails looking great. I was really looking forward to having a manicure because it had been some time since my nails received some TLC.  The manicurist spent very little time cleaning my nails up...they definitely needed more attention than they were given.  When I left, I still had dry hands and hangnails.  Not good.  :( Read Less
