ABT Nails did a wonderful job giving me acrylics! The fading they created between the colors was perfect! Only thing I didn’t like was how there were some air bubbles in my top coat. I love this place! Lily is my tech, She is so sweet and take her time to do my pedi and mani perfect every time. The price is great for the service I receive. They are very busy now and can take you to 3 hours to get your nails done. Even with an appointment. They use to be very good but not anymore. I used to send people there to get them done and I will never do that again. Horrible do not go here. Read Less

ABT is a little gem located by Walgreens on Butternut. I found it to be one of the friendlinest and best nail salons in Holland. I walked out with a beautiful set of pearl tips which were done to perfection... and I admit I am a little detail minded. Thanks, Kathy!  I was even offered a bottle of cold water by a nice gentleman. Ultimate love-hate relationship with this place. The biggest downfall of this salon is time management. My bestie and I will call days in advance for an appointment, and always have to wait around for someone to finish our pedicures. They take too many clients in at a time - there is not enough people, and it sucks having to deal with that kinda service when you've made an appointment. We've had to sit there for 3 hours for a pedicure before. We keep going back because the quality is great, and the staff is always nice with us. I just wish they didn't take on so many people in one hour and have everyone just sitting and waiting with half done nails. Read Less

This was the worst pedicure experience I've ever had. I went with a couple friends hoping to relax but left with so much stress. The nail stylist was sneezing and coughing on me and at one point cut my toe and it was bleeding. She got up to get a tissue, blew her nose with that tissue and then used THAT SAME TISSUE to wipe my bloody toe with gross right? But wait, there's more: she then refused to use the color I picked out because it was too sheer and she didn't want to do extra coats of paint. They do a good job but the wait is ridiculous at times even if you make an appointment. Fill says $15 but will charge extra because they say you got "gel powder" well asked everywhere and found out gel powder does not exist and they are using acrylic and up charging you. When I found out I was paying extra every 2 weeks. It really disappointed me and thought everybody should be aware. Unless they are using a UV light. Gel powder does not exist!!!! One more thing, I got the Ruby Swing color changing nail polish. Got charged $3 extra and I got home when it was all dry I put it in super hot water and super cold water and no change in color at all. I don't really like Kathy. I came up to visit Holland with a friend for a short day trip, and we chose to come here to treat ourselves to mani-pedis. What a great decision! The nail techs did not skimp out on any part of the process, and spent ample time on our pedicures (complete with scrub and buffing ridges). Was in town for a wedding and went to the shop, made an appointment and came back at the appointment time. Waited another twenty five minutes to be taken back to get my manicure and then waited at the nail station another ten minutes, all while new customers walking in without appointments we being taken for pedicures. It took them two and a half hours to complete my manicure. I would have walked out but I needed them done and they were half done and sticky. They are grossly understaffed and my gel manicure only lasted for three days before it began peeling. They also do not soak off gel polish they grind it off my nails are now so thin they hurt when I press on them. Read Less

Kathy is really nice and does an amazing job on nails! Only thing is they take FOREVER!  She will stay open late just to finish what you came in for. I have been there till 2am before. I often travel to Holland for business and on my last trip ran out of time at home for my standard mani-pedi. I found ABT Nails on Yelp and gave it a try. Kathy did such an excellent job that I will actually make it a point to come back when I am in town. Reasonable prices and she even stayed open late to take me!! She takes great pride in making your nails look perfect so you will spend a little more time usual but totally work it. If you suffer from deep cracks in your heels Kathy is your girl!! The people who work here are very nice people. when I come to a spa/nail place I come here for a break away from my kids and husband but when you go inside its like you have to entertain their children that are running around this place. I understand that it's a family business but I want to get away from my kids for a bit not have to deal with the owners 4 year old who wants to keep singing and trying to play while im in massive pain from being waxed. They also had children sleeping in some of the pedicure chairs while I was there. I have been here 3 times and every time is the same. Sorry but I won't be back. If I'm doing daycare i want paid.....at least offer to do a free vagina waxing next time I'm in! Read Less
