Top notch salon!  Stylists are well educated, they always make an effort to work with my schedule and make you feel cozy, the moment you set foot in the door.  There was a schedule mixup at my other salon and Vickie literally got me in the same day.  She perfectly matched my root color and I was good to go!  i see Shawna Smith regularly for my eyelash extensions, which I always get complimented on.  Shawna also does my hair, root touch ups, killer balayage and fantastic cuts.  Shawna is so very talented with nails, keeps my brows in check and does facials.  The receptionists are always friendly and accommodating on the phone.  When you arrive they always offer a warm welcome and a selection of beverages. I just moved to town from out of state and had no idea where to have my hair trimmed. Major plus that the owner of the salon (Vicki) comes in on Mondays. Lucky for me, I read the yelp reviews and decided to take my chances to get a same day appointment. She did an amazing job. I am a licensed cosmetologist so I'm extremely picky about how my hair is layered. Vicki cut my hair beautifully so that my balayaged hair looks good straight and curled. Management sucks advice is swiftly overlooked because they are know it alls and take nothing into consideration. they don't even have proper color to low light base break or refresh with. your hair will be destroyed after a few processes because they only use permanent color which is not to be over lapped or used as a low light. They're rude and they don't know how to treat people. I guess that's what you get for stealing all of your stylists from another salon (Edwin Paul). Karma sucks. Nichole Leone is my stylist and I could not ask for better. She services my entire family. My Mother even comes from IN to have Nichole do her hair. The receptionist and all staff are friendly. i have been coming to this Salon since they opened and Vicki Lynn was been my stylist.  She is the best at recommending cut, style, and products to have your hair at its best.  I have gone from straightening my hair to letting it go natural recently.  With the transition to my natural hair of wavy with some curl has been truly a blessing and time saver.  Vicki Lynn has made sure that my cut fits my busy lifestyle.  She has shown me how to style to get the most wave/curl depending on what I'm wanting that day.  Also, from the moment you walk in, you feel relaxed.  I have also had a manicure there.  Not sure who the nail tech was, but my nails looked wonderful.  Of course, I nicked one of them before leaving, the nail tech repaired it and made sure they all looked beautiful.  If anyone I know is looking for a new salon and or stylist, I highly recommend Salon Tresor and Vicki Lynn. Being a native to Grosse pointe you go through rounds of different salons but this salon by far takes the cake for being the top of the top. Not only did they come through and save me the week of my wedding they did so with absolute grace and made myself, mother, mother in law, maid of honor and bridesmaids look like perfection. My son called the Salon on the spur of the moment a few weeks ago when he was visiting on a college break and got in with a stylist without a problem. He was initially taken aback by the higher price, which he did not ask beforehand, but was very pleased with the result. He said he had a lot of compliments on his "designer" cut. I guess you get what you pay for...the cut was definitely worth the price. Although I have a regular stylist elsewhere I will definitely recommend this salon. Read Less

I came back for another fabulous haircut from Leila today!!!! She rocked it again. I feel beautiful when she is through with my coiffure.
