Ping and her girls are amazing!! I started going to the salon about a month and a half ago. The first time I went into the salon, I was bombarded with questions about which product I wanted. She wanted to know which product I wanted and even educated me a little more on the products. I had gotten the best service that she could offer, which was amazing. While I was getting the tips put on, she kept asking me if her job was good, and if I liked them. I was beyond happy with h...er work. I am a personal support worker and can't have my nails too long, she made them to the length that I could have. She kept up conversation and was very polite. The atmosphere was great.. Her girls were busy bees with other customers who, I might add were happy, laughing, conversating and having a great time. I made another appt for two weeks later. (my nails lasted for those two weeks). I came in for my next appointment, and got a fill, again customer service was beyond great. Conversation was great. I was out within 30 minutes, again happy with my nails. A few days later I had a nail break, I called and spoke with I believe to be Caitlyn and was told to come in the next day when I was done work as she was completely booked, I understood and came in the next day. Ping fixed my nail with absolutely no charge to me. We came to the conclusion that fills are probably not a good idea because of my line of work. (my nails broke while I was zipping up a zipper on a sweater) when I went in two weeks later for another appointment, we put on a new set. I went for a more natural look this time and had clear nails put on. They are still in my nails and I had made my appointment for my birthday. When I go into the salon, as stated before the atmosphere is great and I will continue to return to "Pampered nails by Ping", my experience has been nothing but amazing. Caitlyn helped soak my nails as ping was helping another customer and was very knowledgeable in her work as well, and she's still in school. Ping is teaching her the ropes and she's a sponge and taking it all in. This establishment is somewhere I can let loose and let me hair down and relax after a stressful day at work. I got a pedicure today for the first time in years. As a busy mom of three, it was so nice to be pampered. Ping and her staff went out of there way to make Be feel comfortable and pampered. I would highly recommend trying them out and I will be back as well. Read Less

I have never met anyone willing to accommodate people the way Ping does. She will go out of her way to ensure that you get what you want done when you want it done... I have been a client for many years... I am at the salon every week getting my nails done and the experience is fantastic every time. Ping is a strong woman that works incredibly hard at growing her business through client interaction and experience. I would never recommend going to this nail salon, there were multiple problems and concerns here. I went into the salon for gel nails and was immediately bombarded with questions about which kind I would like. I'm not educated on nail products so I went with the solar nails that the staff suggested. Solar nails are acrylic but with "better materials" not gel and had to pay $55 plus tax and tip to get something I did not ask for. I ended up in extreme burning pain not three ho...urs after I had the nails put on and called inquiring why and was told that I was allergic to the ACRYLIC. Ping did ask me to come in and remove them after closing, which I appreciate, but I was made to pay to remove them and at this point the pain was too much and I just wanted them off. When I returned home, my nails were still burning because there was big chunks of acrylic left on my nails! The problem was there was no clarification from the staff about the difference between gel and solar nails, no apology that I was allergic and had to have them removed and when I went in today to ask for a refund for a product I DID NOT ASK FOR, there was still no apology and I was refused a refund because it wasn't her fault. It was her fault because I asked for gel not any kind of acrylic and it's not my fault that I'm allergic to the acrylic I was given. The entire experience was unprofessional and I would say no one should ever go to this nail salon ever. There was no interaction while I was having my nails done and to state again, I was given something I didn't ask for and when I ended up being allergic to it, I had to pay even more to remove them with even no offer for a refund or half my money back. I have been to many nail salons around Barrie, and let me tell you... This was the best experience at a nail salon I've ever had. After one disappointment after another, I am so thankful to have discovered Pampered Nails by Ping. She and her staff are amazing. The second I walked in, I felt welcomed. I am a very indecisive person but herself along with one of her staff were so helpful matching up colors with me and they really took the time to suggest different options. I hav...e never felt so comfortable in a nail salon. She did the best job on my nails. They are very clean and you can tell they are an ethical workplace environment who doesn't just want to sell you their services. She even gave my the nail file and buffer she used on me after we was done with it. If you want to be surrounded by polite and respectful people, give this place a try. Had my first visit today, walk in for a much needed pedicure. Although they were quite busy they accommodated me right away. I paid more than I typically would for a pedi, but it was the BEST pedicure I've ever had!! I highly recommend this salon!! I will be back....oh, and I'll make an appointment next time . Read Less
