I was here last week Monday with my daughter. We both had a regular pedicure and both had our fingernails dipped. I’ve never been disappointed before, but my cuticles on Ties and fingers bled afterwards. I was under the impression it was against the law to cut them in a salon. I believe it was Nina who did them. My dip only lasted a few days without it cracking and breaking my nails. My daughter nails were done by Jenny. There were more layers put on hers as I was watching the whole time. She is such a pleasure to talk with, very curious of your every nail desire (she asks during every step if you're liking them or would like to change something.) What a gem I have found! Today Jenny's was able to get me, my mom, and aunt in with just a quick call an hour before.  My aunt and I had the Happy Pedicures and we were!  They took their time, were professional, and friendly.  Price was very reasonable.  My mom had the basic manicure and they took the time to really trim and shape her nails and nail beds.  Atmosphere was relaxing with low lighting, rotating pictures on the TV and music were calming.  Employees were focused on the clients.  Thank you! I went to Jenny's for the first time today and it was amazing!! I'll admit that I'm extremely particular about shellac manicures. But this place did an AMAZING job! And it was quick! I have been looking for a good nail place in the Grand Rapids area, having tried a local place near my house in Fulton Heights a few times. I was never impressed and on the hunt for a place with technicians who are meticulous and helpful. I found Jenny's Nails on Google and figured I'd make the drive to Cascade since it had such good reviews. So happy I went! I got a 20% discount as a first timer and the woman who did my nails, Ha, was great! I got my a shellac manicure and pedicure for my brother's wedding this weekend and am very pleased. I decided I wanted to try a different nail salon.  This one is conveniently located, and near my house.  I decided to try Jenny's based on the Yelp reviews and agree with all of the great reviews.  I did not have an appointment and walked right in with no waiting.I had the "Happy Pedicure" and it was amazing.  The salon is clean with a welcoming and relaxing environment.  The service was thorough and they made sure I was "happy" with my pedicure.  I went in the middle of the day, and there was only one other lady in there also getting a pedicure.  Shortly before my toes were dry enough for me to leave, two other ladies arrived for pedicures.  All of the ladies who were at the salon while I was there were clearly regular patrons, which says a lot!I intend to make this my new "go to" salon for getting my nails done. This is my first time being at this salon and I will definitely come back! I received the "Happy Pedicure" and they offered absolutely amazing service. They took their time and invested in each customer. You could tell they truly cared about the happiness of each customer and wanted to make sure you were completely satisfied. This pedicure was absolutely amazing and included a hot stone leg massage and an excellent foot massage. They explained what they were doing and showed me all the products (lotions and tools) they were using on me. I came here because of the reviews! I asked for pink and white acrylic. (And charged me for it) They used white polish instead of white powdered which I didn't like because the white polish started chipping after a week. It's two and half weeks since the fill they have since turned yellow and the acrylic is starting lifting after three days it's cracked off completely on my middle finger.The pedicure was okay but they do not follow state board sanitation. They reuse the purple disposable pads to scrub feet. ( it looked old and gross)Those can NOT be properly sanitized and are not supposed to be reused they are to be disposed of after every guest. I wish they would have used a real foot fileTo help with calluses. That was the point of my needing a pedi. Massage was good!  but polish chipped within a week... I am from SW Michigan and came to Jenny's because of the great Yelp reviews. My last shellac did not last as long as it should have and I have been reluctant to get them redone. They were amazing here! Very friendly and personable. I have a nervous tendency to pick at my thumb nails and they offered to smooth it out to help prevent me picking! The French shellac I received looks great and she even asked if I wanted the white thin, medium, or thick. She took her time but the whole appointment went quickly. I convinced my mom to try a new place to get our pedicures done. After doing some research on Yelp, it lead me to making an appointment at Jenny's.My experience here was just fantastic. The place is clean, not full with a ton of people sitting around waiting for someone to walk in to join the assembly line.We were told to pick out a color, per usual. There were some polishes on the self (that I know at other places cost more), I asked if all polishes were the same price and they said yes. Score! The 7-day nail polish for the same price, I am on board!Andy took care of my mother and I. They were down a person so we weren't worked on at the exact same time. (something that bothered my mom) but I enjoy being able to relax and not feel rushed out so it didn't bother me. He started on my mom, then moved on to me and let someone else finish my mom. His explanation for this is that, he is stronger for the massage and she is quicker at cuticles and painting, etc. I am all about utilizing people for their assets to keep up the great strategy. Andy did a great job at the massage, adding in some reflexology into the foot and not just rubbing location into the calves like most places. He stretched my foot, my leg and encouraged more flexibility with stretches. To make up for the timing of my mother finishing before me, he put on a treatment on my nails for them to dry in a couple minutes. Clean and friendly. I did make an appointment, but they accept walk-ins. Both my friend and I got the basic pedicure. I regularly do my own pedicures so I didn't need much skin removed. I got a shellac mani, and "happy" pedicure and an eyebrow wax and the price was very reasonable. I feel I am very particular when it comes to my nails and they did a spectacular job.
