I waited for over 20 minutes for a fill while the two people who came in after me for a pedicure were serviced right away although they clearly stated they didn't have an appointment. I was asked to pick a color and left at a station to wait when I finally just walked out. They clearly do not service walk ins in order and if they didn't have time for me they should have told me before having me wait so long. My time is just as valuable as anyone else's. I am a regular and I LOVE this Salon!!! I have had many many nail salon experiences over the years and this one will be my nail salon forever!! Schedule an appointment a head of time. Most of the employees were really nice and attentive. However, they were very busy when I came in. They asked a much older lady to start removing my old shellac. She was horrible. Very obviously NOT happy about being asked to help me. She Very loudly complained the entire time. She had other employees come and look at my my nails because she was so appalled. I had painted over and had several layers to remove. She was hurting me. Filing the skin around my nails because she was so mad and aggressive. She was so rough I wanted to cry. She took part of my skin off and filed down past the polish into my nail. I was shocked that this was really happening and I was paying for it. Other customers were staring at me with pity. I wish so bad that I could have left. I had to finish the process because I needed to have decent nails for work that night and had no time left. The other employees took over and were AMAZING. This place is hugely inconsistent. I had one waxing that was great, but my last visit included brow and lip wax, and mani pedi. It was the worst experience I've ever had at a nail salon. My eyelid was cut in two places because the wax person pressed too hard with the the wooden applicator. My lip also had an abrasion on it (I don't think the wax was hot enough). The nails were very mediocre --  my big toe had a cut on it, plus the calf massage left my calf bruised for two days. I will never go back here again. Enter at your own risk! Read Less

So, this place is good depending upon who you get to do your nails.  Is it fast?  Yes.  Is it cheap?  Yes.  Is it consistent?  Not much...but plan ahead and get with the person you like and you are good to go.I think the manicures are waaaay better than the pedicures too.  So go here for a quick mani! Honestly, I feel sick even having to give this place one star. Over the past 2 years that I have been in the area this place has been disappointment after disappointment - from cutting my fingers up while putting on my acrylics to messing up my eyebrows so noticeably and making it so they may never be even again I have had it. I have given them the benefit of the doubt yet every time I return, hoping that they can prove me wrong and do something that isn't just god awful for once, they let me down - I will not be making that mistake again. On top of this, this is the most expensive nail salon that I've been to in the area - I don't know how you can charge that much when you can't do anything that you're supposed to do right - so I would recommend saving your money and going elsewhere. I came here on a whim after work.  I've been to about 10 different nail salons in Grand Rapids and I can officially say I've found "the one."  I'm not sure why anyone would give this place a negative review.  I was warmly welcomed when I arrived, the service was great, and the manicure and pedicure I received were fabulous!! I don't know what the previous review is all about. I have been a customer here for nearly 15 years and this is the best nail salon in GR. They do clean their equipment, the previous reviewer didnt see them turn it on because it is always on, not to mention they have multiple sets of utensils. You can ask for your own utensils to be used and they mark them and put them in a box so they are only used for you. This place is great, very friendly, give great discounts. The first Thursday in Dec I got my nails done. My hubby and I had a weekend get away in Chicago. I had Shellac manicure done. It started to peel off by Sunday. Also I question whether they sanitize their equipment. The old lady worker kept putting tools in the sanitizer machine and going back and taking them out without ever turning on the machine. I have had my gel nails "filled" here 3 times since May and am very happy with how they look. The salon is very orderly and pleasant. I had gone to a previous salon within another store and most of the staff could barely speak English and it was so cramped and dark.
