I've been here a few times and each time have had a frustrating and irritating experience. Mostly related to their scheduling. I've been a walk in and they tell me to come back. I've made an appointment and had to wait 40 minutes!!! They put in nail polish remover into the nail polish container to make it last longer. -Probably most places do this, but for the prices and considering the business they are in, seems like you should just reorder the color. Which in my experience of this, the color polish only lasted a few days before started chipping off. The place looks nice, especially after the new updates. Nice new chairs. They do a nice job of nails. They are nice people. Just the scheduling is terrible. Invest in a scheduling management application, tablet and head set. Read Less

Yikes! I only went here because of the good reviews I read on Google. The girl that did my feet, didn't do my hands. Sometime else came in to do my hands. I thought that was weird. According to their website, my services should have cost $59 but I was charged $76. I disputed this with the lady and she claimed she didn't know what the website said, as their prices were listed by the register. I have been going to Chic Nail Spa every 2 weeks for the last 7 years and have always had a great experience! Tracy, the owner is so personable and does such great job as does her staff. They always do their best to be accommodating. There have been a couple times when I have had to go to different salons because I have been out of town and none of them have made me feel as comfortable and have done as good a job. Love this place, the people in Golden Nails and Spa give the best Pedicures and Manicures I’ve ever got. I came yesterday for a pedicure after work, without an appointment hoping they do walk ins. And they do! They managed to get me on the books, within minutes and introduced to Kevin immediately. He gave me an excellent pedicure which include a massage chair, water therapy for my feet,reflexology, warm towel therapy and of course gave me the option to choose my toe nails colors. After it was done my manicurist/pedicurist Kevin helped me out of the chair which I had a hard time getting out of and helped me with the flip flops. Got a pedi yesterday & absolutely LOVED this nail salon! The facility is the cleanest salon I've ever been to and I have been to several. The ladies who work here are so sweet and cute! I went in for a pedicure today. I always get a foot massage and leg massage and lotion put on everytime I get a pedicure. I've had them for 26 years...once a month ....the girl that did mine looked like it was the first time doing a pedicure. She just didn't seem to know what she was doing. Then I go into the waxing room and get left in there while they are out there chit chatting away...for like ten minutes. Usually I have good service. Today was horrible. First time in 26 years I haven't tipped at a salon. I probably will not return.Read Less

This was my second time giving this place a chance. The first time it was me and 3 other friends before my baby shower. The guy cut my friends toe and tried to play it off like it was already there. This last time I tried again and got a pedicure and a gel manicure. The guy actually cut my cuticle as well. He then argued with me about the color that I chose for my nails and tried to paint a different color. On the second time trying to tell him that the color that he had was ...not the one that I chose another girl got involved and grabbed the correct color. He left a huge gap between the Polish and my cuticles. Then another employee came over and started saying how she didn't understand how I could tell the difference between the two colors because they look the same to her. The one I chose was a baby pink the one he grabbed was a hot pink. She then proceeded to place the other color on top of my nail finish nails to make a point and then wipe it off. I walked in at around 1:35 today and needed a fill and polish change, I was told it would be a little while so I knew in advance that I would be waiting. Sat down about 30 minutes later and Tracy started my fill, she also fixed what previously had been done by another salon and did an excellent job! I felt so relaxed the whole time I was there and it smelled wonderful, not a strong nail scent like other places I've been. When I went to Chic, I had never had my nails done before. I went back many times, and I thought it was a good place, but I wanted to try another just to have something to compare it to. The second place did a great job on my nails too, BUT the atmosphere of Chic cannot be compared. The women are friendlier and more genuinely caring than the other places I tried. My sisters went with me once, and they loved it! If they weren't from out of town, they'd go to Chic all the time. Today is a great day--I am celebrating recovering from surgery by going to Chic and getting a pedicure, and my out of town sisters and niece are coming too! We wouldn't go anywhere else. Not the best service. The lady that was doing mine was trying to do mine and another ladies at the same time. And when she finished took my card without telling me how much it was and when I asked she over charged me.. Love, love, love Tracy (owner) and crew! I and my 90 yr old mother go here regularly, have since they opened. I am a nail junkie and feel like a million bucks when I have a fill and get some new color or design. My mother has serious ridges and painful splits that need tender care, often a result of aging. Now, she is pain free and has lovely nails all the time! She is always treated like a queen w/ respect, kindness and care.
