This place was amazing! We went across the street to Nails 4 U and they were very rude and said they couldn't accommodate our group of 9 so we came to Q Nail & Spa. They will not disappoint! They accommodated our large group, paid for our drinks and let us sing Karaoke! Yes you read that right... they have Karaoke at this nail salon. I've been going to q nail for years. The staff is always very friendly and they give the BEST massages! Today I went in with my daughter and they treated her like a princess. Sadly, the polish they used with my nails was tacky and didn't dry properly. When I called, they made an appointment for me to come back in. They have great customer service! Read Less

My experience wasn't pleasant. Walking in a guy sitting down just asked me what I wanted i asked for a full set and he just said pick out color. And I picked it out ended up waiting 15 minutes. Wasn't in a rush so the wait was no problem. Once I sat down at whom is assume was the owner or the managers station I felt uncomfortable. He was rude the whole time yanking and pulling on my arms, made my fingers bleed from the file he was using, and didn't talk to me what so ever but just continued to have a conversation with the other workers in a second language. The work that they did was mediocre. A couple of my nails are uneven and not shaped correctly. The man who did my nails was very disrespectful and was rushing the whole time. Made a few of my fingers bleed from the dremal he was using to file down the acrylics. Also yanked amd pulled on my arms aggressively. Very uncomfortable environment because all the workers spoke in a second language across the salon. Very unhappy with the service. Read Less

I've been going here for 10 years now ever since i was 7 and anytime i go anywhere else I can't get a good enough job as they do. any person you go to here will treat you so well and do a beautiful job. one time i went to a salon in spring lake right off the bridge and when i got my acrylic nails done the lady cut me. i went straight to q nails and they removed the nail, fixed me up a bit where they had cut me and gave me a nail that looked 100x better than any of my other nails. I refuse to go anywhere else. My favorite people I normally go to are kevin and ann but if you can't get in with them anyone else will do an amazing job. highly recommend them. Read Less

I had spotted this salon months ago and finally made appointments for my mother and I to have pedicures. We arrived and I immediately observed this man who worked there who had a very harsh expression. Unfortunately, he is who ended up doing my pedicure. I'm not comfortable having men do mania or pedis. My husband thinks it crosses a line and I respect that. They did not ask me if it was ok and I was too intimidated by him to say no. The pedi was rough and uncomfortable. The paint went over my cuticles so it peeled off later that day. Worst pedi and pedi experience I've ever had. Do not recommend. Read Less

My first time having a peidcure in Grand Haven. Relaxing atmosphere, many colors to choose from. Over-all good experience. I didn't realize they want you to tip in cash or check not use a credit card. I explained that since it was my first time in salon I had no cash, they we're very polite and let me add my tip to my credit card charge. Read Less

I am so glad I found this nail salon. I have looked and looked for a salon that was like able, and I finally have. I got a full set of acrylic nails today and they are stunning. The woman who did my nails made sure that she was taking care of me, and she really made sure that everything turned out the way I wanted. She took her time making sure my nails were perfect, but she didn't take too long. She was very kind, and even gave me a discount. While I was getting my nails done, I could see that the other workers were also taking care of their customers, and offering them a drink. I would rate this place a ten out of five if I could. Was in town just for the day, my salon has been sold and am not happy with the new techs that work there.  I have been searching for a new place to be able to call home.  Of course this is but the place because i live over 2hrs away.  At first look it could be a little cleaner,  but it wasn't horribly dirty.  I got my nails done and eyebrows waxed.  Two different people helped me.  One for each service.  The woman that did my eyebrows did a good job.  It was different because I'm use to laying down to get them done but i sat in a chair.  So it felt wierd.Christina did my nails.  She was very personable and chatty.  It was a pleasant surprise because most people do not talk.  She actually use to work down the street from where i work now,  so that was something that we had in common and talked about.  I normally get pink and white acrylic,  but she suggested shellac.  I have never had it done before. She left it up to me and the price was the same for my pink and white.  I decided to take the plunge and try it out.  She took her time and answered all my questions in regards to what she was doing. They look great, a little thicker than what I'm use to. I just have to see how long it will last.  I usually go back to get my nails done every 4 weeks instead of 2 wks.  So this is the test to see how they are.  I would recommend this place, at least Christina for sure.  I told her if i was ever back in the neighborhood and needed my nails done i would look her up again.
