Literally the worst experience of my life. I’ll try to make this shorter than what I posted all over social media (btw I’m not normally “that” person). Went to get my eyebrows threaded and tinted along with my lashes tinted. To say my experience was hell is an understatement. I was there for an hour because the lady was more concerned with chatting than providing service. She left the tint on way too long, it ended up being very dark on my brows. There was no difference in t...he color of my lashes but it took a good 15 minutes for them to flush everything they got in my eyes out and for me to be able to see. They were chastising another employee on the floor about not selling enough. My eyebrows are uneven, and when she tried to fix them she didn’t listen when I told her where it was uneven and ended up making it worse. Yes, I did explain more than once where they were uneven. I finally gave up and said I’d fix the shape myself. As for the color, she immediately got a cotton ball with something on it which felt like either acetone or alcohol when she roughly wipes my brows to get the color off. I had to get rude and tell her to stop because she just kept going. I tried working it through with the receptionist and then manager but they continued to try to sell to me so I walked out. To which they called the cops and then proceeded to way over charge me and the officer shrugged and said not his problem. My problem it's not with my person that I visit. My issue is with the receptionist. How is it the least bit professional to sit in a chair and pop bubble gum loudly I might add and swing your feet as customers come in. Please instruct your receptionist that perception is reality. Very very unprofessional. Like someone has previously rightly written, as they grew in business, they have grown in Ego and have become poorer in managing people. Men’s haircut is offered at select locations and we are expected to call and book an appt. I did. 7 mins before my appt they call(while i am driving to get there) and tell me that Abi is not well and we need to move our appt. We did. I am very disappointed in them because my wife spent $60 towards future threading because they had a special going on. The woman said they went off our phone number but when we tried to use it on future purchases we were told we where supposed to have a card. After much back and forth with a manager they did NOTHING for us. So basically got screwed out of $60 Read Less

Angela is a delight. She made me feel welcome and engaged in pleasant chat the whole way through. As a dude walking into an eyebrow/waxing studio, sometimes things can get a little intimidating. Not with Angela, she makes you feel right at home. I have gone to Exquisite in Glendale for years. I was extremely disappointed today when I went to get henna with a gift card I was given. Not only is the henna awful looking, the receptionist came off as rude and unfriendly. There were 4 clients in the salon and my friend and I waited almost 20 minutes to be serviced. I have gotten henna done there before by Bandi and it turned out beautiful. Unfortunately, I will be scrubbing this off tonight. Ms. Angela made me love my eyebrows and I am forever in debted to her. I have always hated my eyebrows and struggled to maintain them. I plucked EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. I found this place on yelp and I'm so happy that I did. I have always done my eyebrows in Europe and love having full brows. In this area it's very hard to find someone that listens and does them the way you like and are able to maintain the full eyebrows. She did an amazing job. My eyebrows are full and look amazing. I recently located from Chicago and nervous about starting a waxing routine with someone new here in Detroit. But Angela is so friendly, she makes you feel comfortable and at ease from the first moment. Her studio is warm, friendly & lovely. Really nice space. After reading all of the positive reviews, I decided to make an appointment and have Angela wax my eyebrows. She did an amazing job! No 2 brows are alike, but Angela made my brows match, which no one else could do. She said that she has a little "artist" in her. I think she is an artist. Her studio is also warm and comfortable. Back in December I was looking for someone to wax me before my trip to the Bahamas. I perused Groupon and found Angela here at Beauty Bar & Browz. I was a little nervous because I usually am most comfortable taking care of business myself but figured my trip warranted for a professional job.Angela is the sweetest ever and she made me feel ultra comfortable. Her space is professional and clean and her hygienic practices are great. Not only does she do a great job but her normal prices (non Groupon) are quite reasonable.
