I have been an Invidia client since 2010. Melissa is a top-notch stylist and nail technician! She has educated me on what and why a certain style or color is best for me. Her qualified staff is always friendly and accommodating. One important point is how clean the salon is! For example, there is never any nail "dust" covering the lamps or tables, as has been my experience at other salons. I was visiting from out of town and Googled hair salons in the area. This place had really good reviews and Rootz (who my family originally suggested) was completely booked up. After looking at pricing on the website, I decided to call in and make an appointment. Making the appointment was easy and they had an opening in my availability. I get there and the environment was nice enough... there was a really friendly dog there that greeted us! We had an appointment with another person who ended up not being there, so the owner who cut my hair for me. It hadn't been cut in a long time, and she was able get the dead stuff off. That's about all it consisted of. I had washed and let my hair air dry that morning. She sprayed it a little to wet it and put some product in it and scrunched it at the end. No big deal. That's how I do my hair anyways. When I get to the register, I guess since she is the owner, she crossed off my original price for my cut ($30) and writes in her's ($40). I guess the lesser amount would have been my price had my person been there since the website said the price was tiered based on experience. I thought that was a little unprofessional since I got to see the original price. Plus $40 for a spray with the water bottle and cut and no wash no style seemed a little crazy to me, but I get people pay that for cuts. It just wasn't the kind of cut/price I was looking for. The website says that this service would be $25 and up - that's for a style included. I didn't have the style or the wash, so I guess I should have asked for those things to feel I got my money's worth. Overall, just an OK experience. Beautiful, clean building. All products used are organic. Either I or a family member have had cuts by three of the staff, including the owner, and I was very satisfied with every experience. I recommend this place to everyone local. Always prompt, friendly, and professional. Cuts are always on point.Read Less

I can't say enough wonderful things about this spa and salon! Serene environment offering a variety of services. I regularly have my hair cut, colored, and styled here and have always loved the final result. They listen to what I want and help me sort through my thoughts when I'm not sure what I want! I have been to other salons in the area and this is by far the most professional and high quality. They are wonderful with my husband and kids as well. I just moved to the area and found this cute salon right off the freeway.  They boast vegan products and the place looks clean and affordable.  That's about where the good news ends.  Upon walking in the lady at the front desk ignored me, I am told I look young so this isn't exactly new for me so I asked her some questions about the salon and its history and services to which she handed me a pamphlet from the counter top and went back to texting on her phone.  Regardless of the welcome I made an appointment for later in the week for serval family members and myself.  On the day of the appointment I was again ignored.  I let the same texting girl know I was there for an appointment to which she nodded and I sat down to wait.  My stylist was busy when I got there. I was on time for my appointment btw.  45 minutes later he finishes with the person he was working on when I arrived. In the 45 min I waited no one speaks to me to explain why they are late, to ask if I need anything, he'll just generally acknowledge my existence.  The owner is walking around and playing on the computer during this time and also does not even spare me a glance. My family arrives and my stylist, still ignoring me, proceeds to go into a closet, the door open, and hides so he can check his phone. Needles to say ten minutes later I walked out.  When I arrived at another salon in town I found several other customers who reported the same experience as I did.  It's sad because they really are well located to have a booming business.
