If you like the feel of a speakeasy, this setting is perfect. The decor and cozy feel is great but do not expect to go with a larger group. Very small and intimate. The service was great and had unique cocktails. Was a little disappointed in the music level for such a small room. It was only 7pm and the music was already so loud you could hardly talk. It didn’t really match the ambience they were going for.

Uh. Can't believe I'm writing this, but I was just racially profiled at a candy store. First of all, this isn't Bose or Brookstone, so I don't even understand the behavior I witnessed.I walked in at the same time as a white woman. She browsed, as did I. However, I was immediately watched by two middle aged white women at the register and the other customer was not. The other white customer continued to browse without being bothered, where as I was asked twice if I needed help. I was then followed. Every time I moved, so did an employee pretending to stock shelves. The other customer left without a purchase.I bought several things and walked to the front, where I was met with disdain. When I was told the total she said it in a tone that sounded unconvinced I would decide to pay for it (19.76 for candy... I mean, I love candy, so yeah I'm buying it ).I then whip out an American Express to pay and her tone and facial expression change. Interesting...

They have the sweetest variety of candy and great service! My kids buy candy here before every trip we take. They also have great prices. Sweet place!

3 floors of sugary goodness! Only downside was the floor space didn't cope that well with the volume of people there.

Airport stores like Dylan's help me retain my "favorite Auntie" status. A stop here to stock up on treats, before a visit, helps to make a good impression. There are bulk gummies, colorful jelly beans...
Airport stores like Dylan's help me retain my "favorite Auntie" status. A stop here to stock up on treats, before a visit, helps to make a good impression. There are bulk gummies, colorful jelly beans, multi-flavored lollipops, a variety of chocolate bars, chocolate-covered cookies, and Dylan's candy bark. Gift containers and sets are also available. With more than an hour before my flight, I have to admit that I went a little crazy. However, mission accomplished. The treats were much appreciated and my aunt status retained.

Candy is great. But when I get up to the counter to use my newly-earned coupon, the lady informs me that it's invalid and that they don't accept any coupons. Something about different ownership and management. Don't offer coupons if you don't accept them. Bull$hit. I'll take my German raspberries and eat them, disdainfully.

Almost all of the candy for sale here is Dylan's brand. Perhaps that's a brand that Detroiters are familiar with, but I've never heard of it. The wrappings and the colors look great and they have a wide variety of chocolates and gummies and hard candies and such. There are some M&Ms and a few of the other "macrobrews" that most of us are familiar with. If you're looking for something unique as a present, Dylan's gets the job done.

If you like the feel of a speakeasy, this setting is perfect. The decor and cozy feel is great but do not expect to go with a larger group. Very small and intimate. The service was great and had unique cocktails. Was a little disappointed in the music level for such a small room. It was only 7pm and the music was already so loud you could hardly talk. Almost all of the candy for sale here is Dylan's brand. Perhaps that's a brand that Detroiters are familiar with, but I've never heard of it. The wrappings and the colors look great and they have a wide variety of chocolates and gummies and hard candies and such.
