Ok so here's the thing with this place. If you go on a Friday or Saturday expect to wait a longg time before getting in a chair. So if you can go Monday- Thur. LOL. Anyway, this place is really clean. Total contrast from the other nail shop that is nearby. They are up to date with nail trends, specialty Powders, loads of shellac and gel colors!! and loads of regular polishes. The staff is pretty friendly. I have no complaints about Ruby Nails except the Saturday waits. Other than that, I will be a regular customer! :) Read Less

only giving this place a star because i have to in order to give a review. this place has unstable prices. One day they charge for file the other they don't. One day they tell me rhinestones cost an extra five bucks per two fingers with rhinestones and One day they charge per finger for rhinestones. same thing with the nail art. also the employees tend to be very rude and make it obvious that they are speaking about you. if you read this far, i highly recommend a different place for better nails. never again. Very rude we are in Smiths Falls and I wanted to get my nails done she was fully booked and we asked about other salons and her response was "I guess so" wow we generally love the local businesses here but not this one wow we have friends who live here and going to a wedding we just needed a quick help and she was of none. After waiting a good 1 hour before being serviced and spoken too with an attitude. im with the chick below me. If I could give this dirty place zero stars trust me I WOULD. I have serious cuts on my feet and shin from how hard this man scrubbed my feet. I don't think you're supposed to walk out of a nail salon bleeding...are you?? SO UNSANITARY dirty tools nothing is in packaging nothing is sterile, my god just thinking about reliving that experience makes my blood boil. I swear if i can give this nail salon a 0 star i would do it without even regretting it !! So i i've been going there for 6 years and the salon was a really tiny place until couple years they upgraded the place and so many ppl started working there !! So today i went to get my nails done and the owner did my nail !! And i wish i ddnt go and ddnt let him touch me ! First he was soo rude !!The nails were so uglyyyyyyy like its like my little baby doing them for me ! So i told him that i dnt like them and i prefer that his wife finish them for me so she tried to fix them but there was noooway to fox them so i told her plz they are so ugly so he cam to me and started yelling and telling me to not come back here ! Why ? Cz i dnt like ur job? So i got really pissed so the owner came and put my nails in something so i can melt ..ps: i did my toes too and they looked so awful too !! Anw so after they acrylic melted i needed to leave so they lady was like plz i need 10$ for ur toes im like honey what toes ? If u wnat to pay u come fix them first so she started yelling and telling me YOU DONT WANNA FAY? so this is where i started yelling too so the daughter started yelling and telling me i need to respect older people !! Respect who honey they disrespected me first so the mom kept and yelling until i told eyy listen im not paying u shot go call the cops and i left !
