I’ve been going to this salon faithfully for over a year because they’re usually so nice and they moved fast and efficient. The last two times I’ve been have been very unsatisfactory. Today, my boyfriend and I paid for pedicures but received rude attitudes from the employees and quick and unthorough service. I paid for a fill in as well and the man filed my nails so hard he reached the skin and kept filing, so under my nails ended up sore and bloody when I left. The shape of the nail is not what I requested and I expressed that to him and he did nothing to fix it. I have been here a few times. My last visit was for my anniversary and I went in with my husband (who has never had a pedicure before). We just wanted the basic mani/pedi package and during the whole experience, the woman attending to my husband kept pressuring for us to upgrade to their premium package. The woman working on my nails cut my toes too short and filed my fingernails crooked. They were slanted in one direction which really looked odd. I asked her if she could fix them really nicely and she go rude and handed me the nail file to do it myself. I didn't want to ruin my day with my husband so we excused her attitude and I filed my own nails. I do NOT recommend going to this place. The décor is great and it looks very nice and clean but let me tell you it is NOT. Two days after getting my nails done I was taken to urgent care with a nail fungus. I called to let them know this occurred and not only did they not believe me but told me the only thing they could do was give me another manicure for free. No thank you, how about give me my money back and pay for my doctor bill? They do not use quality products and they file down the tops of your nails so they are paper thin. Man that did my nails was rough and seemed pissed when i asked him to fix two nails on my hands that were not so good. Toes were half assed and he did them on a trash can at his station. He had me put lotion on myself and no massage for legs or hands... i paid for the royal manicure and pedicure... save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else... very poor nail salon in my opinion... and i have been to many. Sunday, walked in with mom and sister at 4pm. They don't have the staff to do full set, the eye brow lady is off today. We are only doing pedicures. Sat in the chair no one said I'll be with you or hello. Nothing. After 15 minutes, a lady finally came over. She was nice. But the young girl answering the phones with her cheeks full of acne is extremely rude and was the one who said that they weren't doing nails and eyebrows today. The young girls customer service was the beginning of poor customer service. The fact that half the staff was cleaning up and ready to go with keys in hand bothering the few working staff at 5:01pm and the mail closes at 6pm not 5pm will be the main reason why I will never return to this place again. I have given this place one too many chances. Every time I come here every service I'm given is rushed. My pedicure should not be finished in less than 15 minutes. The girl doing my pedi was not certified in nails and I am 100% sure because of the way she went about my massage and cleaning of implements. I go in there once a month for a deep foot massage and I'm never impressed. This time around I was so upset I didn't tip. I have been doing my nails for 10+ years now and this is by far the worst nail experience I have ever had.  It started with them telling me the wait is 40 minutes, got seated 1.5 hours later!!! Then she said they can only do a mani or a pedi since it was 8:30.  She agreed to do both after I begged and told her I have been waiting, that was a decision I soon came to regret. The service I received was a pedicure. When she filed the base of my foot she didn't hold my toes back and took a chunk of my toe with the file. It ruined my experience to say the least. I couldn't look past the pain. She used a blue antiseptic glue and touched the bottle directly onto my bleeding toe. Do they have standard precautions? If not they should be trained. I didn't make a scene or fuss. I was just hoping she'd realize she made a mistake and offer a certificate or something to compensate for this terrible pedicure. She didn't. So I asked for a discount. Ive been to Luxury Nails three times and found it to be consistently bad. I came in this afternoon to get my shellac nail polish removed and a manicure. The positives: It's open on a Sunday and you can get serviced fairly quickly. The cons: Two separate nail techs tried to push me to get shellac after my two week old shellac was removed. Any good nail tech knows how poor that is for the overall health of your nails. Also, the now three times I've been there my nails have looked terrible as soon as I leave. Read Less

My nails look great! Very pleased with end result.The reason they don't get 5 stars... 1- I called ahead of time and was told $25 for the hot stone pedicure but then was charged $30 after my service...... so deduct from the tip I guess.2-I get pedicures because I love a good leg and foot MASSAGE. The massage...was non existent which was very disappointing. 3- There were people who had started their pedicure service before I was even seated in a pedi chair and they were STILL being massaged and serviced by the time my pedi was done... Decided to give this place a try due to a friends recommendation. I'm glad she did because they have become my salon to go to.  I've also recommended this place to my friends and they are just as pleased with them as I am.  They become very busy around 4pm so I suggest to avoid the long wait go when they open or early afternoon to get in and get out.       The best way to get there is the entrance to LA Fitness, which is right in between upper Macy's and JCPenny's. Ended up being traumatized from this establishment. Totally unorganized, sped through nails looked like shit. Hurt like hell. The guy had 20 files ALL DIRTY trying to BLOW DIRT OFF. still used dirty files! And this burned! Was running around like a chicken with my head cut off for a half hour because they misplaced the color I had just got on my hands before doing my pedicure.  AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
