Honestly, my experiences there have been hit and miss (more hits than misses). There's no doubt Sun Nails has mastered the speed eyebrow waxing. You're done in less than 3 minutes and it's $7. Overall, the pedi experience is pretty good as well, especially now that they've added a "deluxe" pedi package, which includes a mud mask on your legs, extensive efforts in callous removal, etc. Of course, they will still do the hot towels and massage. The (finger)nails is the possible hit and miss. They're really good with full sets or tips. But, with a mani (standard or gel), they may miss the side edge of your nails when they try to clean up whatever might've gone outside of the lines, per se. That may not bother some people, but that bothers the crap outta me. I pay you money to paint my whole nail, not 95% of it. 2 big freak accidents that I hope would never happen again - There was lady that works at the new Sun Nails at the strip mall on Mich Ave by Krogers, and apparently was helping out here because the Pelham Sun Nails was busy. Not only was she rough on my hands, one of my cuticles actually started to bleed. I wish I got her name. I'm sure I'll recognize her though. The second miss - I went in at 6:45 for a mani/pedi and since it wasn't busy, I had someone doing my mani and pedi at the same time. At 7:15, two of the workers there ran out the door as if someone got into an accident, because the Mich Ave Sun Nails was busy and they had asked me to drive the guy working on my feet to the second store. Seriously? That was super bizarre and rude. And they didn't even give me a discount. All in all, I suppose I will still go there (for now) since they do do a good job, but ironically, make sure you go when it's busy, or else you'll end up having to drive someone to the other store. lol.
