Because I knew the original owner I stayed when they left. They're so close to my home. Due to the lack of English speaking tech's basic things like ouch and that hurts aren't understood the way they should be. Because the new owner is also awesome, I've come back. I allowed someone other than the owner to clean up my brows. Unfortunately she didn't understand what that meant either.  So today I  wanted a mani pedi  done. Went twice and I have to say I could do a better job myself.  They are more worried about quantity over quality.  Terrible paint jobs, they don't listen to what you want, and always in a hurry to get you out the door. nails come out thick and uneven,  and started lifting in a matter of days. My last tech was more worried about talking to her x husband than focusing on my nails. (yes he was standing there most of the time ). I had to tell the lady that my nails were not even and actually took the file from her and did it myself.  After I got home I took a good look at my nails and was very disappointed. I got shellac and the girl was in such a hurry it didn't set right and smudged. Not to mention having to swat flies away from me.  Am now looking for a new salon. Read Less

This was the worst experience Ive ever had with having a manicure done . It was my first time at this spa and I am very unhappy. I walked into the spa at 915 and was out of the door by 930 . Thats with a manicure and sitting under a dryer ( then she told me i was good after 2 mins ) . The person who did my nails even had me pick a different colour of nail polish because she didnt want to have to do too many coats. I explained to her and the manager on how fast this manicure was and how awful my nails looked after paying . The manager just looked at me with confusion. I went in today for a shellac polish change on my hands and feet. This place was recommended to me by a friend and let me just say WOW!!! Ann was amazing and did everything just as I asked and made sure it was to my liking. She was super sweet and their prices are amazing. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for satisfaction with their nails! Read Less

Never going there again my daughter and I went there. Not good customer service at all. On top of that it was the worst pedicure I ever got. I live in the Dearborn/ Dearborn Heights area for 20 years and have been to every place. This is by far the worst. Amazjng SERVICE.  Ask for RuRu for the best eye Lashes I EVER HAD. Excellent pedicure and wxing services as well. Got my chin, pedicure ND eye lashes All for $45. and eyebrows waxed. Went back for color change on toes in massage chair two days later for $8. So happy. Read Less

Went in for a new set a was charged for everything extra she could pull out of her hat and when I pointed out that there was a couple crooked she yelled well don't look at them like that and did not fix them....my mistake for not insisting but thought oh well will get them fixed elsewhere as I get them done every three weeks anyway. I did pay and I did tip as I always do but will probably not return as they are very expensive and in my opinion are not worth the extra money!! Read Less

I got biogel nails done for the first time a month ago, and my experience was alright. 65$ for biogel was quite the stretch, but they turned out quite nicely, well shaped and well done. I went back tonight, and asked for a biogel refill... which they advertise as 35$. I could tell the lady working on my nails was working in a hurry, making my nails too short and crooked, as well as leaving the paint streaky. (I could see the nail bed on certain nails) It was absolutely slopp...y work and completely different from my first experience. I couldn't believe my eyes. I'm the kind of person that doesn't like offending people or being an inconvenience and I figured "oh well... 35$ isn't going to break the bank." When I went to pay, my total turned out to be 65$. This didn't sound right at all. So I questioned her, asking her why they cost me 65$ when they advertise it as 35$. She told me biogel was harder to work with, and that 3 of my nails chipped off so she charged me more. I had to pay FULL PRICE for only 3 new nails. I didn't even get a fresh set. I kept questioning her, but she just smiled and nodded, shaking the debit machine toward my hand insisting "You pay now!" Please please avoid this place... customers should not be treated like this. The employees have serious attitudes. I came to the shop at 3 the older lady told me to come back at 530. I came early around 515. I waited until 6:14 to be serviced. The lady who painted my toe nails didn't even take off all the old polish. I had to repeatedly tell her that her nails were digging into my skin. Not to mention two clients that came after me were serviced before me. I won't be back. Save yourself the headache. My wife and I visited this place twice . First time we waited about 1.5 hours and service was normal. Second time as soon as we walked in, the owner was rude but we decided to wait . 2 hours later we left . The workers are so slow and even though the service was normal, it's not worth the wait . While we waited, many clients came and left , I don't know how this place is still in business. If 0 stars were an option that's what I would have rated this establishment. Yesterday, my sister and I decided to get our nails done. I had called ahead to schedule an appointment for 330. We got to the salon right on time but when we were asked about the appointment I had made I was argued with by a man and a woman telling me that no I didn't make an appointment and then after looking in the book they told me I made the appointment for 430. After going back and forth they t...old us to take a seat. A different woman came out from the back and also argued with us about the time before admitting she wrote the appointment in the wrong time slot, 4:30pm instead of 3:30pm. Next thing we knew they left us to sit there for 30 minutes without saying anything to us. Not to mention, only three other people were in the salon. We should have left at this pointed but decided to stay. Finally at 4:10 they got us to sit down at a station. Where we sat for 10 more minutes with our hands in hot water. Then when I told them we wanted acrylic nails the woman told us that we had asked for the wrong thing and went on and on about how we were wrong in making the appointment with what we requested. Not only did she carry on the situation that people with excellent customer service would have just said "oh no problem!" She carried it on and talked about it so loudly other customers were looking at us. This made us very uncomfortable and embarrassed.. all we wanted was our nails done!! I was so embarrassed I wanted to just get up and walk out. I had never been so disrespected in my life at a nail salon, and I have been to many. Then after getting the nails done I must say I'm extremely disappointed, not only did they fail to remove over grown skin on the nails, they didn't even give us a massage. After the last coat went on they said that's it they were done. Not to mention that after everything was said and done we were in there for 2HOURS and didn't even receive and apology for the way we were treated. People spend their hard earned money to receive good service and that was that complete opposite. I am extremely disappointed in the service my sister and I received. My daughter and I visited Kingdom today for pedicures. It was an absolute delight! The kids pedi chairs were perfect (there's also a tv complete with Netflix), the regular chairs are comfortable, the facility was extremely clean and the staff were very warm and friendly. I can't recommend Kingdom Nails highly enough. It's the first place I've walked into where I wasn't assaulted by the overwhelming smell of acetone and other chemicals. Being brand new and having been built specifically to be a spa, they have excellent ventilation - good for clients as well as for the people who work there all day! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and the spa is absolutely lovely - and my pedi is gorgeous. This place used to be decent..now it seems they don't care about their customers. Waited 45 mins for a new set, she removed the old without soaking them!. I was literally in tears.. I was at Kingdom Nails & Spa last week for a Pedicure and Manicure. The location is convenient, just minutes from the 401, plenty of parking and very welcoming. I was able to come in and sit right down... Ven was very professional, attentive and gentle. His foot massage was amazing... Strong hands! The massage chair was incredible - not only was I getting a pedicure, I was getting a full body massage that felt like it was a person doing the work... WOW...
