Wanted to like it! First time going here and never going back. Terrible customer service. Probably the worst I have seen. Sadly from the owner! At first I thought this seems like a good salon. Maybe one that I could go to from now on, as it's a good location to work and home. First I walked in and asked if there was a wait or if they had time to do my Nails. The owner said no wait at all pointed me to where to sit. And then as I was getting my nails done she was doing a good job and asking about where I usually go etc.. and then all of a sudden after she took off my nail polish and glued in my acrylics another customer had walked in. I was there for about 10 min already, and she says hi to that customer and talks to her and then looks at me and says did you make an appointment? She did and looks at her and says sorry to her that she's doing my nails ( clearly if I asked if they had time for me or if there was a wait-that would of been pretty clear I didn't have an appointment) I said who me? No I just signed in. And she said oh next time you call ahead and make an appointment that girl had an appointment? I said oh okay..( kind of shocked as the way she was speaking to me) and she keeps talking to that other customer and the other customer goes on to saying how she's sorry she's so late ( 20 min or so passed her "appointment") and how she was cleaning with her husband and then she saw the owner calling her to see where she was at.... and she just says it's ok and to sit down and she'll get to her in two seconds... so after she glues my nails in and cuts them a little she stops doing my nails and goes over and takes the other customer nail polish off, and doesn't even say anything to me! I'm like what? Haha what is happening? Am I done? .. so I wait and be patient 5/10 min or so then she comes back to literally rush to get my nails done a little bit into it I look at my phone and she has the nerve to ask me oh is someone waiting for you? As if I am being the rude one by looking at my phone... I ask after she files my nails ok so I go wash now as dust is ALL over and she goes no! And puts the polish on my nails !! Haha I'm like what is happening?? Is this real how low class this establishment is? it's just unacceptable to how an OWNER would treat a customer. I honestly thought I was on some tv show at one point.

I got a full set and paid $55 which is outrageous. The man that did my nails didn't even clean the gunk from under the nail, and over charged the hell out of me. He was rough with my nails and got exasperated when I asked him to be gentle. I'm STILL picking the gel/acrylic out from under my nails. This has been one of the worst nail experiences I've ever had, and I will not be returning. For the price I paid, I expected more than the scrap service I was given.

I went here with my sister while visiting family in Michigan, and the service was really great from both Vicky and her husband. My sister scheduled appointments for us to have pedicures (my fave) and manicures, and we were led right to the pedicure stations when we arrived. The massage chair during the pedicure was amazing and helped work out the kinks in my back while Vicky's husband massaged my feet and painted my nails. Vicky helped my sister with a nail problem she was experiencing, and the difference she made in just that one visit was incredible. Next time I'm in the GR area, I plan on going back to Vicky's.

This place is fantastic and Sandra is amazing!! I found Vicky's Nail & Spa after having a poor experience at a different nail salon that I had been going to. Initially, I was pretty upset that my go to nail salon did such a poor job..However, I'm now very thankful that they did mess up. Otherwise I would of never discovered Vicky's Nail & Spa or Sandra!! Vicky's is CLEAN, comfortable, friendly, fast (when you need them to be) and they have the biggest selection of Polish and Gels I have ever freakin' seen! I'm talking in the thousands..mood changing, glow in the dark, glitter/sparkle..anything and everything you could ever dream of. My nails have never looked this good! I Can't wait to come back for a Pedicure- their setup looks so luxurious!

I decided to try out a new nail salon and Vicky's seemed to have good reviews. I went in for a mani/pedi, spending much more than I had planned. There seemed to be no price lists, but it was a clean place so I decided to give it a try. Within a week, three of my fingernails were chipped, so I called and Vicky agreed to repair them for free. That evening, one that she had repaired was chipped again, and the next day, another was chipped. $105 was wasted. I won't return. Extremely unhappy!

I've been going here for 10 years... a couple times a year but the last two times I've been less than impressed. My mom and I started to go regularly for pedicures until one day she got her toe nails ...
I've been going here for 10 years... a couple times a year but the last two times I've been less than impressed. My mom and I started to go regularly for pedicures until one day she got her toe nails cut so short they bled and the man shaved my feet down with the metal skin shaver so bad that I had holes in the bottom of my feet for weeks! I was so embarrassed by the way my feet looked because they were trying so hard to heal. I recently tried to go back and get some acrylic ...nails. I got the man again and they looked okay, but he kept hitting by where my cuticles are with the revolving filer.. hurt like hell. I'd flinch because it would sting, and he would tell me not to move. Then when he put the cuticle oil on them it hurt so bad I almost cried. then I went to a new place and they looked at the and said they would fix them. My nails now look 1000X better than they did here. Not as bulky and wide. Definitely can't recommend vickys anymore. See More

It was the worse experience ever. The guy filled the pedicure tub with boiling hot water and I fully submerged my foot in there. He was talking on his cell phone while I was trying to enjoy my foot getting scratched open. And when I say getting scratched open, I mean that literally. He was using the foot sponge in one spot on my foot and used it until my foot was dripping blood. I left there in so much pain. The place itself is nice but DONT let the guy working there give you a pedi.

I was here a few times last summer due to the fact that it's pretty close to where I live. Overall, it was an ok experience. I never scheduled an appt. for my pedicures; just walk-in. I didn't have to wait over 5 minutes, which was nice. The quality of the pedicure was good. I added the sugar scrub to mine each time. Regular nail polish with clear top coat that lasted longer than I thought it would. I was asked if I had an ingrown toenail in not a very nice way. I never have nor do I. I thought that was kind of strange, but I think they charge more if you do. Then I preceeded to stare at my toe when I got home wondering why she even asked me that....I thought the salon workers could be a little more friendly and this is the reason for the 3 stars. Not very talkative besides to each other in a language I couldn't understand, which is fine, but I can't get into the conversation. It just felt a little awkward. No attempt at any conversation really at all. I'll try other places in the area in the future.

I just came from having a pedicure at. vicky's. nails. Due to many tragic circumstances in my life I did not have the time or finanances to have this done for quite some time. The man that did my pedicure was so rude , shaking his head,not speaking one word to me , along with a lot of other rude behavior. The kicker was when another employee informed me my feet were in bad shape,thanks for sharing the obvious! My message in all of this is if you want to be publicly humiliated and pay for it besides try Vicky's in Comstock Park. Message to Vicky's if you feel like you don't want the job just refuse it better than to experiance the embarrassment I did.

I got a full set and paid $55 which is outrageous. The man that did my nails didn't even clean the gunk from under the nail, and over charged the hell out of me. I just came from having a pedicure at. vicky's. nails. Due to many tragic circumstances in my life I did not have the time or finanances to have this done for quite some time. The man that did my pedicure was so rude , shaking his head,not speaking one word to me , along with a lot of other rude behavior. The kicker was when another employee informed me my feet were in bad shape,thanks for sharing the obvious! My message in all of this is if you want to be publicly humiliated and pay for it besides try Vicky's in Comstock Park. Message to Vicky's if you feel like you don't want the job just refuse it better than to experiance the embarrassment I did.

Being a man, I don't often go in for pedicures and the like. My toe nails were getting extremely long and so when I had to figure out what I wanted for my 71st Birthday, I asked my wife to buy me a pedicure. My son Lance Jr's Fiance' Laura, suggested Vicky's Nails and Spa. This was my birthday present from my wife, Diane Timmer and you can bet your boots that I will be coming here from now on !

Vicky is amazing at what she does! If I can't decide what I want done wth my nails of hair I get her advice and always trust her decisions! Her staff at the salon are very friendly and are amazing at their work as well, I drive from newaygo just to come and get my nails done and believe me I am around plenty of nail places and still choose to drive to her I've been going to her for 5 years now and will continue
