Very fast service and a very clean atmosphere. My only complaints are that I have had some booking issues such as having to wait too long when I have had an appointment and making an appointment but not having it recorded correctly and being told I had to come back because my nail tech was busy at MY appointment time. Those are administrative issues, and not issues with the actual service of the nail techs which, in my experience, has always been of good quality, professionally-delivered, and done very expeditiously. I moved, and still actually drive from twenty minutes away to patronize this establishment. So, that says something about the quality of the work I receive there. I do recommend the service. I have been going to Ozzie Nails for SNS nails & pedicure fortnightly for about three months now. I am always happy with my nails (and I’m fussy) and the staff are all lovely. I switched my nail salon after we moved to commerce 3 years ago. I had trouble finding somewhere well until someone recommended paradise to me. I was very lucky on my first visit with who I was placed with, Tammy. I enjoyed how she wasn't too rough but cleaned my cuticles well and places shellac on in a timely manner. I have been going to Tammy ever since. She takes pride in taking care of my nails and if I have a crack or a chip in them, knows exactly how to maintain it until it grows out. I always receive compliments on my nails and everyone asks where I get them done. Most become shocked that she maintains my real nails and they look fake! My nails can last me sometimes past 2 weeks. I wasn't able to come in for 4 weeks my last shellac manicure and it lasted me! (Aside from the disgust look of it growing out, but that's not her fault! Lol) Read Less

I had a gel manicure done here, which I have had done at other places. From other salons, the gel manicure will last typically 2 or more weeks, and it looks the best for at least the first week. Paradise Nails did an awful job. I had them done on a Wednesday and by Saturday the edges were all curling over. After a week, it started peeling back and coming off. Most definitely not worth $25. Also, the place had me in and out in less than 20 minutes. I have never had a manicure take such little time. This might add to the poor quality. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I've been coming here for years. This is the only place I know that is consistent. I do have a few favorite ladies here that are my go-tos, but most of them are pretty good. They have so many options for polishes, and they are always getting in new colors. I also love that they try to stay on top of the trends - ordering metallics, powders, different glitters, etc. Most importantly, it's always clean. They keep the place spic and span. Went for a quick toe polish change. I didn't have to wait long and got to sit in a pedicure seat while waiting. My toes were painted in 2 minutes. I wish it was a little longer and the paint job was decent. The ambiance was okay but nothing special. Nice friendly staff and fair price. I'd go back again for a full pedicure. Read Less

Very disappointing. Called ahead to see if they were able to take walk ins. Waited 40 minutes before taken, another 30 with nail wrap. The girl (station 6) who started my wrap argued with me about using the machine to remove my shellac instead of a nail file then left me to start a pedicure. No one had started my manicure after a hour so I had asked if there was a better time that I could come back. What really made me angry was they kept answering the phone saying "YES COME IN, WERE NOT BUSY". You're not busy? Every chair was filled and people were waiting while I was sitting there for an hour and you're still not helping me. Common curtesy to atleast tell people like me that you're busy so I don't have to waste my time. Then the girl doing my nails started arguing with me about the amount of time I was waiting and told me to just go somewhere else.Very unprofessional workers.Oh and another time all I could hear was them singing karaoke in the back. I have worked down the road for years but never been into Ozzie - have always gone to another local salon. It recently was sold & I wasn't impressed with the new owners so have been to salons all over the place to try to find someone I am happy to keep going back to. Finally, I have found that salon in Ozzie Nails Gosford! This chick didn't speak a lick of English, I had to ask her 3 times to remove the razor blade that she used to scrap the dead skin off my feet from the foot spa because it was floating around bumping into my legs in the water bath and she kept saying it's fine and I told her it's not fine. The shop is lovely, and the massage chairs are great.  Everything else I experienced - horrible.  Made an appointment for a Mani/Pedi.  I felt like I was part of an assembly line.  Sat with my feet in the water for 25 minutes, nail tech didn't ask if I wanted my nails clipped, just did it.  My toenails are not evenly filed. The woman next to me was getting the same service, and she was started 5 minutes before me, yet we finished at the same time.  And the manicure.  HORRIBLE. My nails are filed crooked, polish wasn't dried in between coats, I was never asked to wash my hands, less than 12 hours after the manicure my nails are all ready chipped.  I just went shopping today, no crazy strenuous stuff! Not to mention my nails were smudged BY THE MANICURIST and instead of fixing it properly, she just applied topcoat over.  The topcoat isn't even covering the entire polish.  Just slapdashed on there.  If I had realized that I'd have to redo my nails w/in 24 hours I wouldn't have tipped her at all.  I have a cosmetology license, so I know how to do a basic manicure.  Save yourself a trip.  They only have time for their regulars.  Not to mention I paid attention to the tools - no sign of sanitation that I could see.  At all. After visiting a very disorganised nail salon in Wyoming, we decided to come to Ozzie Nails. We called ahead to make sure they could my mother and I in for manicures. We arrived and they immediately seated us, and it wasn't long before our treatments were underway. All the staff are so lovely and friendly. They did an amazing job with my shellac - very particular and tidy. It was a hot day so they gave us cold water and had the fans on to make it a very comfortable and relaxed environment. I have gone to Paradise Nails for years. Even though I have moved away, I return to PN when in town. Steve and Katie, the owners, are equally talented and do a terrific job with my acrylic fills. They apply acrylic thinly and, when my nails are done they look perfect and natural. The place is always busy when I'm there, so I always make an appointment. Read Less

Been here at least a handful of times for gel manicure. Seems to be an issue with each visit- poor quality "nail art" (a toddler might be able to do better) that they have no problem fully charging you for, they seem put-off when asked to do nail art (a popular trend these days), manicure doesn't last guaranteed 2 weeks (although, they will fix for 1/2 price), nails not prepped correctly for gel/shellac application, no attention to nails being so thin from over-filing & applying such thin gel layer that manicure cracks as thin nail bends, nail tech damaged manicure with portable UV light- did not fix, nail techs seem preoccupied with cellphones- facebooking, texting, etc. while at nail station performing manicures! Not very customer focused. Staff is aloof, apart from the owners, who obviously take pride in their business. Been going there for 4 months, still felt like I was treated as a walk-in "Joe Schmoe" every time. Too bad, because this is a great location, and the price could be right, if customer satisfaction mattered. Read Less

This place really is TERRIBLE. I told them that I was getting engagement photos done, and that my nails had to be perfect. I told them that I did not want gel. They kept asking me why... I kept telling them that I was not interested. All I wanted was the manicure. First of all, I think that the gel manicure is nice if you are going for the 2 week look.  I just needed it for ONE day. Leave me alone. Then they helped me pick a color... a nice red... I paid her with a $20 bill, and she gave me a $5 back. I guess that means I HAD to tip her $5. Of course, she had me pay and tip BEFORE she started painting. Only AFTER I asked did the technician tell me that that brand of nail polish costs $15 instead of the usual $13 because it will last longer than the Etsy or OPI. What? This is a joke. This is a rip-off. There was nothing I could do... She had already started painting, so I had her finish. My nails were filed crookedly. I had to re-file them when I got home, and then put another top coat on to make it look nice. For 20 ****ing dollars, I would expect a good manicure.My manicure lasted 4 days.There is another nail salon North of Wise Rd, on the West side that is so much better. I only went to Paradise Nails because the other salon was closed on Sunday.... NEVER AGAIN.They were a little rude, and REALLY pushy about the gel manicure. Then the chick screwed up her one job. My parents live in the area and twice I've tried Paradise when I've been in town.  WORST place ever.  It's basically a cattle call, people are coming in and they don't write names of walk-in's so you hope they remember the order, which they didn't yesterday when I went and one woman was taken out of order...or maybe, just forgotten.  Everybody is told "5 minute" and it can be more like 20 - 25 minutes depending.  Maybe it's just me, but generally when you are dealing with bare hands, feet, and other beautifying techniques there should be some standard of cleanliness...Paradise apparently doesn't practice that notion.  The shop is very unkept the floors are gross and there appears to dirt and dust bunnies all around.  I was there 1/2 hour after they opened so it was obvious that not much cleaning when on after they closed the night before.  Call me crazy, but part of the experience of getting a manicure/pedicure is the whole "relaxation" aspect...if you are looking for that don't head to Paradise.  Everything moves as quickly as possible as the techs are just trying to get you done as fast as possible so they can move on to the next person.  I will say the price was reasonable $36 for the pedi/mani, but you get what you pay for.  I would rather spend a little more money, have a cleaner environment, and have the tech take there time with my services.  Needless to say, I won't be heading there again.  Not worth it.
